As far as we know, some states have their own laws regarding cryptocurrency and its legalization.  Since today the United States is fighting crime and terrorism, they are looking for sources of income for attackers.  That is why the government wants to see the sources of income of each person and what financial flows exist in the state in order to prevent the financing of crime.

Global disasters can be different and if they are local in nature, then these disasters will not affect the price of cryptocurrency.  But if you believe the predictions regarding the existence of humanity, then the cryptocurrency will exist exactly as long as humanity will exist.  But if we talk about the future of Bitcoin, then the first problem for the existence of Bitcoin is scalability, which needs to be fought and increased.  Ethereum has been brewing the same problem lately.
