When the BTC fork is going to take place? The guys here are right, everyone will sell their alts to get free money, we can see okcash retracing to 2k sats - only 35 btc to sell .  I believe BTC fork will happen sometime in november, next month, so I dont see why people would sell their alts now, they have at least one month till then, they may keep them a little time  It's because Bitcoin's price recovery. If the price were still in the 3,000s, then people might keep playing with alt coins until closer to the fork. However, since the price is low to mid 4,000s lately, people are getting afraid of getting left behind since it is already recovering so nicely. Guys, take a look at all the weak hands in this thread. You can tell who hasn't been in this space very long. Markets pump. At the will of the pumpers. The rich. We will wait until they pump OKcash again. Call it what you will... "not a pump and dump coin" blah blah. The reality is this is a whale's game. Everything pumps at some point. Be patient. So even if you post once every two weeks, you will be able to get every activity point which you could miss if you didn't post regularly. It's quite complicated but I hope you understand it . Not really this fork is being mostly welcomed by the bitcoin community and is not competing with bitcoin or trying to claim to be the real bitcoin Let's hope so, we dont need another civil war, as this would affect all of us, If Bitcoin falls every alt will fallow, so we dont want this to happen |

That's a shake out, whales don't like weak hands IMHO. If you are into several solid coins, you can always set aside a few BCHs and see what the market decides, but then you're selling at the worst possible time.... Yep, it doesn't look good for now, but BCH has been here before and got out, so it may do it again. I guess I will hold, I'm takin' the chance, who knows, maybe it turns out to be the smart choise |

i think Charlie is likely afraid of it happening again like it did twice in the past already. i think there's still a chance but I really do think crypto went a lot more mainstream and received a lot more institutional support this time around, so it's far less likely for everything to crash 90% again. The big companies are starting to see the value of blockchain and everyday people especially young people are really believing in it.
I don't blame him for being cautious though, until crypto has had a solid 2-3 year period with stability and no really major 60-70%+ crashes he probably won't be fully convinced yet about its maintained value and neither will I.
On another note the progress with lightning network atomic swaps is fantastic and really has potential to be game changing! im excited to see it all play out.

Well, in the past years crypto market has gained many users and supporters, and that is still happening right now, more and more people are joining crypto and addopting this kind of investment. No, I dont think it's a scam, it's just market volatility. Everytime you invest your money in a project you assume the risk of loosing too. Sometimes it happens to win, sometimes you loose, thats the market. I have invested in MCO too, and trust me, I'm not happy seeing whats happening now, I'm in a big loss, but I dont blame MCO team for that |
