1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Moonlander 2 Driver and Support Thread on: January 09, 2018, 05:18:21 AM
Wow I just got my first moonlander 2 today cause it was  so hard to find them and I am so impressed.  It took me like 5 minutes to set it up and mine.  Thanks to whoever created this masterpiece.
2  Bitcoin / Mining / I read the post on CG miner that said you could run multiple pools? on: December 02, 2016, 09:12:28 AM
How do I run several miners such as my USB stick litecoin/bitcoin dual miners and my Gridseed miners on cgminer.  Do I have to open up several instances of CG miner for each miner or can I run all of them off the same cgminer instance.  And when these autodetect how do they autodetect each one through each device driver you download when you hook them up...  Thanks so much for any replies I appreciate it....I hope this made sense.BTC I want to run everything off of one computer...

4  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: .08kwh on: July 03, 2016, 04:02:25 PM
that is awesome also I have a meter that monitors my kWh right off of my power line coming out of my breaker box into the house then it sends the data via WiFi to my unit.  I am able to see in real time how much I am burning electricity.  I have been adjusting all the lights and everything that was sucking power 24/7 from children.  Now every device I turn off I can see how much each is using in electricity.  If you guys want one they are only like 160 dollars I will put a link in the description.  Anyway I figure that eliminating all of the blood suckers throughout the house that my bitcoin miners can use the power that I was using to light the house up for nobody.  Also I live in north Idaho so I put my ant miners underneath my thermostat because we pretty much have 8 months of winter, and they will help keep from the thermostat kicking on all the time.  I don't know if all of these cost savings will help but we will see.  BTC  https://www.amazon.com/Efergy-Home-Hub-Elite-Combo/dp/B00I2XM5RS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1467561807&sr=8-4&keywords=efergy it has a cool web portal and you can access on your phone
5  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / .08kwh on: July 03, 2016, 05:21:22 AM
Huh  is .08 kwh cost effective for bitcoin mining, also if its a business that draws lots of power it is .04 per kwh?

ok guys I got my bitminer going I switched it to dhcp with some great help from a friend, and then I was able to go into my router and look at the ip address being used by ethernet one on the back of my modem/router.  I can't believe it was that easy.  If anybody runs into problems trying to setup their miner with Frontier Communications I can help you out.  Thanks for all the replies and sorry for the small posts.

follow up three it must have been windows 10 because when I went to connect the miner to the modem it said that there was an update to fix the issue.  Windows restarted and connected tom my miner and the internet.  which before I could only do one or the other.  Should I keep my miner on static or switch it to dhcp.  I also was able to change my miner address I found out at my security camera shared the same ip address as my miner how crazy is that.

Cry   I'm pretty upset and frazzled, I received a bitmain antminer s3 for my son and I to work on together as a hobby he is 9, and I recieved it today.  I was really excited and thought the installation would be straightforward but no it was anything but that.  I had it hooked up to my router and I could not find it after following the intructions so I hooked it up straight to my computer typed in the default ip address and walla there it was I followed the intructions and went into the client using root root then I changed the network settings form static to dhcp that when everything went wrong I hooked it back up to my router and was not able to find it so I hooked it up once again and ran the ip scan to find out what the new ip address was two items came up my router and shenzen something technology.  I typed that ip number into my address search bar and nothing came up.  I am lost now please help.
