We were losing too much too quickly and had to change some things around. No business can be sustainable when losing 5 bitcoins a day for 2 months straight. As you said, we are changing some things to become sustainable. The bank is far from empty, but it would be nice to at least break even :p |

i believe 10% on tournies is fairly standard. also the smaller 5 buy in tournies rarely ever attached for than 6 runners so not surprising they stopped those.

Nobody charges more than 10%. As you know there are those that charge 5% for tournies. May I suggest the title of this thread be changed and "lowest rake" be removed. We do charge the lowest rake on cash games. For tournaments however, 10% is indeed almost a industry standard. We never charged more than the 10% and definately never will. The smaller tournaments (superturbo and turbo guaranteed) got cancelled most of the time and when played it had on average 3 players in them. When the community shows us they are no longer interested in a game, then why keep offering it? In fact, the hourly 1000 GTD is a 'smaller' tournament already with a buyin of roughly $1 to $1.50. |

We changed the buyin structure for our guaranteed tournaments so the prize pool can grow bigger than just the Gtd prizes. First hourly 1000 gtd showed a prize pool of 1300  i see u did double the buyin, which to me makes total sense. Hard to keep operating with all the huge overlays. loving satoshi, support is great!!! hopefully player pool will keep growing Is there any info on any sort of promotion? We have our affiliate rakeback system coming very soon. You will be able to generate a unique referral ID. Refer x amount of people, and get paid for life. The hand history that our client generates are in the same format as Pokerstars HH. Our developers did this for maximum compatibility. Can you set your holdem manager to read the history as pokerstars and report back with the results please? |

what sort of protection do you have against multiaccounting, im playing in the 1000 hourly now, and it is blatantly obvious that diablo and sniper are the same person.
this person may even have more than 2 accounts based on some of the play im seeing.
Currently we ban anyone who is obviously abusing the system. After looking at matching playtimes & withdrawals & IP addresses we can now conclude that sniper and diablo are 100% the same person. We did not however find any correlation with Gabrel and Rainers accounts. We will continue to monitor this situation closely with these accounts and any other accounts in question. -------------- Sniper and Diablo have been banned from our site, and all funds in question have been confiscated. Multi-Accounting or any form of collusion is not allowed on our site. Thank you. This guy "KEVIN C" had some connection problems, already restarted few times and other poker clients were working fine. Can admin look into it? Seemed nice guy so I thought I would just help him  Site has been working fine en mass. It should be an isolated issue.. (prob his firewall or ISP). |
