1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTCChina Exchange is operating normally; no new directives from regulators on: September 11, 2017, 02:51:16 PM
BTCChina Exchange is operating normally, and has not received any new directives from Chinese regulators. We'll keep you updated.
So all the panic we have with the news of chinese government shutting down local bitcoin trading platform is just another FUD  Huh

If nothing has been announced officially than why we have to panic on some made up story written by a chinese media house.  Roll Eyes

Crypto market is full of newbie traders who will keep on selling all they have on every small dump.... Sad
But this news did do it's job in the way some wanted it too (The Chinese government? Roll Eyes ) in getting the bitcoin price to fall dramatically over the news of this "going to happen". Which it did not in reality.

This is why to have a country such as this one to have a hold of so many future bitcoin in the form of their mining threshold being detrimental to bitcoin and everyone around the world using it.

This is the sole factor that will hold back bitcoin from ever being a global currency and even eventually replacing a countries fiat currency. That which was the intention of some of us who want this world change to happen but China is holding this intention from ever coming to fruition.

Where are your facilities located?
I don't recognize that one picture of an acorn in the picture.
It doesn't look like you typical China mining facility so it is in Europe?
Tried to look for that information on the site you listed above but did not find any region listed of where it is.
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't log in to my cryptopia account, can anyone help? on: September 11, 2017, 02:15:27 PM
Usually this happens when you enable 2FA authentication.

They are very picky when entering anything in wrong.
It will flag your account until you can verify it by the way you set it up during enabling it.
4  Economy / Exchanges / Re: registring with an exchange on: September 07, 2017, 05:37:25 PM
Some exchanges don't allow you to verify yourself if you do their limit amount of $100-upto $5000 on one of them that I know of.

They are responsible if you transfer more so they ask for you information to cover them self from investigations I am assuming.

And if transferring crypto into fiat you are definitely going to need to get verified.

They want to know who they are sending money too! Wink

Too bad for them.
As they were richest nation of all of South America.
With all their oil reserves.
But times have changed.
And now they are suffering for not adjusting to the times and getting away from fossil fuels.
As most rich nations should.
Don't they know the money is in crypto now.

Get with the times these ancient old world rhetoric. Roll Eyes
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Monkeys trading rocks on: August 06, 2017, 01:31:08 AM
So this is how you are seeing the crypto world with those on the exchanges trading their rocks ? aka. alt coins.

Very intriguing way to look at it really. Undecided
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin (ICO started) on: August 05, 2017, 03:39:19 PM
I can't install the wallet. There is no online wallet to withdraw the coins to?
There is a minexbank.
If this is what you meanby where to store them.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 03, 2017, 08:23:09 PM
The fork did occur but many miners abandoned BCash coin right after it split from the main chain. The exit of the miners results to extremely delayed block creation due to the pre-calcuated difficulty and as a result no transactions with BCash can go through. Overall it fails as a currency, but does decently well on exchanges in spite of the inability to deposit.
But I see some exchange that can already do trade Bch, they have a value of about 25% of the current bitcoin price. Indeed I'm not sure this can last long, but this is our chance to take advantage. For forking I think this works because it has created bch, this impact of the split that occurs in bitcoin.
The larger one just released the wallets on their exchange.

But yeah. ALmost most of the miners have abandoned it and it is taking a very long time to relay the transactions now.
Some are saying they have waited over 18 hours now for their sending amounts to be received.
This is a complete and utter joke now.
While it was said to have faster times than bitcoin.\
And right out the door they have a 10x worst sending of their transactions.

Instant FAIL!
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 01, 2017, 11:08:45 PM
Anyone knows how it works on Bittrex? If I send a BTC there would they credit me the BCC too?
They have already credited those accounts that held btc in their accounts since 10 hours ago.

If you did hold any then you should see a new wallet with funds in them duplicate of what you had in your btc one when the snapshot happened this morning before the fork.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash! Dead on Arrival? on: July 31, 2017, 05:52:40 PM
It is getting messed up majorily right now with the different time zones.

Some are trading it as they received it already in the split from their owned bitcoin they held.
While others have not received them yet depending on the exchange or wallet they have them on.

It is just chaotic right now. Undecided
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty [IXT] InsureX blockchain-secured marketplace for Insurance Bounty Program on: July 30, 2017, 02:35:52 PM
IXT bounties should have been sent 1 week ago. Yes I can understand lowering bounty amount but I can't understand why you don't keep your promises?
On the 20th of July Jamal said 2 days later bounties will be distributed...
Now you're saying TokenMarket handles it...

Sometimes bounty reward time is more longer. But for this moment jamal always pay in a previous projects. So just wait a bit.
Dude, Jamal is not responsible for *paying* the bounties. The project owners are...
Jamal already finished his work on 22nd of July and gave the list.
Shitty TokenMarket doesn't pay...

Incorrect. TokenMarket were advising Jamal to put the bounty rewards back up Smiley happy days
How do you know what Tokenmarket is advising him to do as a campaign manager he should be telling what they are telling him to all the campaigners in the public space.
And not hiding anything from us of what is going on with this.

We have all waited to long to hear that they are still asking for things from him to be submitted in order for us all to get paid our tokens!
It's been over 1 month now we all wait for something that has been done by other ICOs in a matter or less than a week for their distribution of their own tokens out to their bounty campaigners.

This is unacceptable to be treated this way by any reputable company. If this tokenmarket can even be trusted after this fiasco the longer they delay this the worst their reputation is look at by all involved here.
Why give the tokens to an escrow that can not be trusted to deliver them to their customers?

Especially with all the upheaval in the market coming in the next 48 hours when these tokens can be worth less then they are now after mass sell offs that could occur. Roll Eyes

Does not make sense for anybody who wants to keep their reputation in good light to do this sort of thing to people.

That is not right! Undecided
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: July 23, 2017, 08:29:42 PM
I will like to think this is the best way to do a ico for an exchange.
Because I was watching NVO doing theirs and it did not appeal to me what so ever.
So I hope you learned from their mistakes in when you plan on selling your ico tokens and then when you finally do release your exchange to the public to use.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty [IXT] InsureX blockchain-secured marketplace for Insurance Bounty Program on: July 21, 2017, 04:22:35 PM
I will need to change the ethereum address on the sheet.

Ethereum address: 0xc26683F46ea2323eb22e1e0A4583ECa3E53566A6

I am LLec on the spreadsheet(Line #13 of the old one and Line #9 on the new, final one).
I am currently not at my home pc to access this account to post from it since June 25th.
I am on holidays out of the country until September 1st. And have the laptop which I have this account logged into it.
I can sign a message from the signature campaign [banned mixer] which ended in early February this year I was receiving payments from the signature campaign if it is needed to prove I own the account.

Hi to the one who is responsible for managing this campaign:
Please change my ethereum address listed on the spreadsheet labelled final to the one listed above.
It has not been changed yet and the token is to be released to the campaigners (I did only the signature campaign) tomorrow.
I even bolded it (it is line 9 on the final spreadsheet) so you can see it clearly and match it accordingly on the spreadsheet.

As jamal does not seem to have enough time to change the old ethereum address given a month ago which was hacked to this new one I posted in the thread upon his request.
So I ask who ever is looking at it for the distribution does notice this change needs to be made before sending out the tokens to me.

Thank you.

found this cool account creator yesterday.

requires another account to pay a 6 steem fee, but totally worth it if you have friends that don't want to wait for an account!

https://robertdurst.github.io/index.html
But arent creating account on steemit free anyways?
Why would anybody want pay even 6 steem to do this for them?
Does not make sense man. Undecided

20  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best way to cash out bitcoins and end up with USD on: January 12, 2017, 05:06:08 PM
I'm not entirely sure what the law is but would it really make a difference what tax you pay depending on how you sell it?
If you want to keep it legal then selling it for cash one way or another would mean you'd need to report your earnings and pay any consequent tax on that.
If you want to avoid unnecessary fees though you can post on localbitcoins and sell BTC in person for cash.
You remember bitinstant?
They tried to do this on a large scale and got caught in laws of us.
Nobody can do this because of taxation and money laundering laws.
It is not just not possible.
