1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not invest now , wait on: June 21, 2018, 03:30:43 PM
I do not agree with you. I think your advice is more like a prediction than a strategy, it's like saying, "Do not invest now and wait for September because the Bitcoin price will go down." If I follow your advice, I might miss the opportunity to buy cheap altcoins if your prediction is wrong. I prefer to accumulate altcoins until September and not wait until September to start buying altcoins. The crypto market can move very fast so this kind of strategy is very bad.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: June 21, 2018, 03:15:41 PM
I agree with you, the number of participants in the bounty has increased because the crypto space is getting bigger since bitcoin has reached 10k USD and many people are starting to talk about Bitcoin and crypto-currency in general. And the easiest way to earn money in crypto is to join a bounty campaign. I think the bonus campaign will be less rewarding because we have too many participants and the only way to avoid this problem is to join a non-hype bonus campaign.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which do you think is the biggest problem in the crypto market? on: June 21, 2018, 02:54:25 PM
In my opinion, the biggest problem in the crypto market is the price manipulation because the crypto market is still very young so early investors still have a lot of Bitcoin so they can manipulate the price easily. I think the security of the exchange is also very important because most investors do not want to invest a lot of money in crypto, because they could lose all their money if the exchange they use was hacked or them wallet's private key was hacked.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of the current market? on: June 21, 2018, 02:42:43 PM
I think the current market right now is not that good but I believe that the bitcoin prices will also go back to its prices when everything is back to normal, maybe at the end of this year or next year. I think most traders are still bearish and expect the price to go lower than 5000 USD before making a new all time high again. Bitcoin is very easy to manipulate as you can see, SEC news can pump bitcoin price to 5k8usd then Korean exchange hacked FUD make the price go back to 6k5 and now Tether news pump the price back to 5k8 again.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: June 20, 2018, 02:20:01 PM
If you ended up joining a scam bounty campaign, I think it's your fault because you do not do your research on the project and the bounty manager. You can try to follow an experienced member or a Hero member here if in a bounty campaign has a lot of high ranking members then possible that the project good and profitable. I think there are a lot of ways to check the project if it's legitimate or not, but the easiest way is to copy the other members.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: June 20, 2018, 02:11:44 PM
Yes, investing all your money in a cryptocurrency is very risky, so many people here are recommending new investors to diversify the crypto portfolio to reduce risk. You can make a lot of money by investing in a cryptocurrency if your prediction is correct, but you will lose a lot of money if it's wrong because your cryptocurrency is a scam project or has been hacked. I think you still earn a lot of money if your portfolio is good and have promising crypto.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH also a bubble like bitcoin? on: June 15, 2018, 01:48:20 PM
Personally, I don't think that Bitcoin is a bubble and I definitely don't think that Ethereum is a bubble since the crypto market is always like that and 70% retracement is very common in this space. I think the price goes down because of its rapid grown, we went from 10usd to 1000usd so the market needs a big correction to stay healthy. Also, Ethereum is a platform for hosting ICO and it required people to buy ETH to invest in which is why the price has risen so fast.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: June 15, 2018, 01:35:51 PM
The price of bitcoin is always fluctuating so I think it is better to wait for the BTC price to go lower to buy. This is the right time to buy bitcoin because the price is sitting near the 6k bottom. I think Bitcoin is a great investment because the price is changing very quickly so you can get rich faster or the opposite. Also, I believe that blockchain technology will change the financial world because it allows people to send money instantly and without the need of a third party.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: June 15, 2018, 01:27:49 PM
The crypto market is so bad right now, we are in a blood bath since the beginning of the year and we are still waiting for a reversal. I think the current trend is very depressing for new investors who bought at the all time high and who have limited capital, because this situation will scare them forever. In my opinion, we should continue to buy some cryptocurrencies when the market goes down and wait for the market to recover.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs are profitable, but not always going to be the case. on: June 14, 2018, 02:49:59 PM
I think it depends on crypto market trend, last year a lot of ICO is very profitable because the trend is bullish but this year is different because we are in the bear market so most traders and investors don't want to put the money on an ICO in a bear market because it is very risky unless the project is very promising. Also, I think more and more ICO project is running by scammers like Bitcoinnect, Titanium and many more...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying AltCoins At Dip...Are You Doing It Now? on: June 14, 2018, 02:32:35 PM
Of course, I think most of us are buying altcoin at the dip and sell it every time the price bounce back to the resistance. I think you should take this opportunity to buy undervalued altcoins instead of panic sell every time the price goes down. If you don't have any money left then I recommend you to HODL your current bag and until next year to sell because short-term doesn't look very good right now as the trend is bearish.  Cry
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: June 14, 2018, 02:27:39 PM
I think that community is one of the most important factors for any altcoins because the community is like the investors so if the community is very active and has a lot of members then the altcoin price will have more value. I think the community for a crypto project is like the user base for facebook or twitter. In my opinion, a crypto project without a community is like a dead project in the crypto world since nobody will buy the token.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: June 13, 2018, 03:21:55 PM
I think my money is safer in my bank than cryptocurrency because if I put my savings in cryptocurrency, then it's like gambling and I risk losing a lot of money if bitcoin loses its value and don't have enough money for paying my expense. Also, your crypto wallet can be hacked if you are not good with a computer and don't know how to secure your bitcoin.  While the money in my bank is more stable and will not lose half of its value in a few months like bitcoin.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: June 13, 2018, 03:05:08 PM
I think ICO is also a great way to make a lot of money, just like crypto trading or investing, but watch out because there are a lot of scammer around most popular ICOs and they will try to scam all your money by spamming your email with the presale link or a private message you on the slack or telegram. I recommend you to check the ICO's team, whitepaper, social media profile and community. If the project has a lot of members on the telegram then I think the project is legit.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: June 13, 2018, 02:54:25 PM
It really depends on the ICO but I think you have invested in the wrong project since I have never heard of those. You can try to look at the ICO evaluation website and invest in the most popular ICO as it is most likely to increase in value after ICO and join the popular crypto exchange as Binance. Anyway, investing in ICO is not risk-free so you have to choose carefully and check the team background, partnership and read the whitepaper.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is stabity year ? on: June 08, 2018, 02:24:24 PM
I'm not sure what you mean by year of stability, but I think the crypto market is anything but stable. Since the beginning of the year, we are in the bear market, it is more than a half year of a bear market now and I think we will be in the bull market very soon, hopefully near the end of this year. I think the crypto market is still very young, so we will not see any stability soon.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 08, 2018, 02:18:28 PM
Well, I think people who leave their jobs for crypto trading, mining or bounty because they already hate their current job or they live in a third world country with low minimum wage per hour. I think it depends on the situation of the person, maybe it's the worst idea for you, but not for others because they did not live in the same country as you or have the same education that you have. Personally, I think it's a bad idea in general.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: June 07, 2018, 03:08:02 PM
My tactics when the market is falling is to sell everything and move to tether so you can buy your favorite altcoins later when the price is low, it is simple as that, buy low sell high but most people will fail to use this tactic because of the emotion. You need to be patient and don't panic sell or panic buy every time the price move, you need to wait for the confirmation before entering the crypto market again.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is like a Box Chocolate on: June 07, 2018, 03:00:53 PM
I do not agree with you because participating in a bounty campaign is like joining ICO, but without investing your money, but instead, you invest your time in the project so you can expect what you will get, so it is not random or like a box of chocolate unless you join a random bounty campaign without doing any research about the project then, in this case, it is random. I recommend you to do some research about the bounty allocation before joining them...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is going to replace bitcoin? on: June 06, 2018, 03:01:38 PM
I think nothing will replace Bitcoin since bitcoin is more like digital gold than a platform like ethereum, so bitcoin does not have direct competitors. I think in the future we will see a lot of altcoins that are better than Bitcoin with faster transactions and technologies but they will not replace Bitcoin. I think a lot of whales and miners get rich through bitcoin, so they will support bitcoin. In addition, the bitcoin blockchain can be updated to be faster like Bitcoin cash.
