It's not that important, the price grows a community. Do you think that ETH focused on growing their community? No.

but if nobody trade a crypto, if nobody talks about it, how can the price rise? i think that community have a role on it...at least at the beginning.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I think a strong community behind a project is extremely important.  If you look at certain projects that have been community focused, you find that most members of the project community help the project grow, not only by providing ideas but also in promoting the project.  If/when people feel part of a project community, i feel there is a sense of collective responsibility therefore, some may be less inclined to dump or sell early etc.   As per usual though in crypto, there isn't a one size fits all model.   Research research research.

Without community project is empty, project will be less viewers so this is very important as the community is part of success in every project.

besides that, the project cannot reach their goals in the future because they don't have a support from the people and maybe their investor is not much. like many of us say that the community is very important, I agree with them too because with the community, we can spread about the projects to many places and we can get more investor from out there so they can join with us and makes the project get success. besides that, with the community, they can give a new idea to the dev and the team to makes the project better in the future.

I think it is vital to any new altcoin, as they need as much as possible to break into the market.

It is vital and if a coin can focus on their community, they will benefit!

I think that community is one of the most important factors for any altcoins because the community is like the investors so if the community is very active and has a lot of members then the altcoin price will have more value. I think the community for a crypto project is like the user base for facebook or twitter. In my opinion, a crypto project without a community is like a dead project in the crypto world since nobody will buy the token.

It is very important, with any startup you need people who believe in your idea for it to come to life.

Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

community is the foundation of the success of one crypto project. without community, there is no one to support the project, and no one will fund it, community itself is the supporter and the investor of the project.

The community that supports the project is very important. It dictates how the project will grasp its way to success. The more solid the community is, the better. It is the foundation of the project. Without great people leading and supporting it. It will be a failure.

It is very valuable because they can help you market and grow. Also they can give feedback. Co-creation is the future in my eyes.

In an encrypted project, the project will be difficult without the support of the community, and a strong community can encourage the team to grow, which can make the project more team effective.

For most of the people we've met in the Cryptospace there has usually been one topic that brings everyone together, (even if they work for competing projects) and that's getting more people around the world to adopt cryptocurrencies and DApps. If you are developer then having millions of users on your easy to use DApp will increase it's value.  If you are an investor having millions of people actively using whichever crypto currency you invest in is great for business, whether that currency is meant as a store of value or to be actively used inside a blockchain ecosystem.

So in the end when we talk about community, let's think big and incorporate the whole world in a model where everyone benefits from the services and use-cases that crypto currency can bring to the masses. Coming up we should be seeing more AI data analaysis (could even let you know how much money is flowing in and out of the major exchanges) , international banking, p2p property sales, video games which let you cash out in fiat or trade your items, Virtual Reality offices, real-time tracking for logistics providers.

There are a lot of applications for cryptocurrencies and their technology, we just need to build easy to use platforms and become global ambassadors for the industry, for our own projects and for the blockchain as a philosophy.

Making a user-friendly blockchain (plain-name wallet addresses, simple DApp downloads, multi-device mining) and building partnerships with relevant companies will go a long way towards building a global community for any of the projects you are interested in.

community is very important. there will be no contribution that will happen if the community is not enough, community is the basement of the success of the crypto project.

they will determine whether the project can run and whether or not. If they have experience and they certainly work with the competent project they're working on would be great. Thus the position of the community is very important for the sake of the progress of the project to run.

Community support is necessary and important for any undertaking, especially projects related to cryptography. This can be not only investment, but also very serious information support, which is very important for the development of projects.

In trading, if many people invest in a currency or a token, then capitalization and price increase, otherwise, everything decreases. So is in the crypt, because each participant is really important.

Community is such a valuable tool for any startup, never mind ICOs. They give feedback, voice concerns, defend your idea and spread your ICO through word of mouth and through the internet. I don't believe that an ICO can be successful without it, unless they have a substantial marketing budget.

There is a reason that ICOs all have airdrops and bounties!
