1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitLasers.com - Handheld Lasers and accessories (We ship worldwide) on: August 20, 2015, 05:59:57 PM
You would think the country where every animal you see can kill you would be less nitpicky about what requires a license......

1mW. Crazy bro. Crazy. lasers in the stores in the US are an average 5mW. Flamethrowing a tree full of spiders may freak people out, but less people notice if you vaporize them with lasers.

You would think with the funnel web spiders there... the dingos... whatever the hell else they got there... that Australia would be cool with people having things to fend off critters from far far away....

You should probably move your business somewhere more friendly... yeah...
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitLasers.com - Handheld Lasers and accessories (We ship worldwide) on: August 19, 2015, 04:11:49 PM
Nah the dude is in the US. Im gettin the impression that Australia is rly strict with all kinds of stuff. In the US, even tho theres a bunch of idiots pointing lasers up into the sky at aircraft, there's no law outright banning the possession of a laser. They'll come lock a fool up if he point that at a plane, but....

Im curious, do they even sell small laser pointers in Australia or no?

In the US they're in every dollar store, or almost every dollar store. Weak ones, yeah. But they're there. Alotta people in the US play amateur scientist filming stuff with lasers and magnetrons and melting metal and whatnot. Laws are reasonable there at least.

I think I can indulge myself a small bump  Grin

I am actually contemplating shutting the store down sometime within the next few months, due to the ever increasing amount of laws relating to lasers. The hobby is in a sad state.
Wat did the Feds pay u a visit or something? Dont listen to them man. They just bein totalitarian is all. Anything that can be perceived as a threat...

I mean unless they like forced u to implant spy chips and GPS tracking things in your products, then yeah, that would be a good time to stop.

Now if it's just the fact that ur not getting that many sales and u think its cuz more ppl are being forbidden, I dont think so. Its just cuz ur lasers are a little bit behind the times... maybe a little on the pricey side... I wont say where, but theres some other guys with a 7W 445 nm for only about 199 USD. People want to see more upgrades and variety. There was also a 405 nm  900W for about a hundred....

(and yeah they also ship worldwide, with some exceptions. Didn't read into it too much cuz budget aint all that atm. )

1 left. Someone started an order but apparently bailed out and never canceled it, so it's relisted now.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: April 02, 2013, 03:26:10 AM
I am having this same problem. I transferred through you to MtGox on Thursday and still have not received my money as of today, 4 days later. Where is my money!? This is really starting to agitate me! Are you going to compensate me for how much I've lost in bitcoin compared to USD? Bitcoin has gone up a lot as you know in the last few days and I've lost out because of your error.

This is what I received in your confirmation email:

OrderID: 237a4342-ea13-4249-8406-5b98fbf1341c

EventSentAt: 1364521241.24
APIResponse: MTGOX-USD-ZM84T-WKSJ3-YLDY7-14600
I'm still waiting on that old order for $20 on march 18th too.

Funny thing was the delay was for BTC address.....

You can imagine how much I've lost. It's been over a week
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: April 02, 2013, 01:56:43 AM
Good. At least the latest order is resolved.

Let's hope the earlier one comes back out of the ether...
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: April 01, 2013, 11:35:00 PM
Just sent a PM about 2 orders.

I await resolution.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why hasn't the porn industry jumped on bitcoin yet? on: April 01, 2013, 09:16:25 PM
They HAVE jumped on bitcoins!

Don't you people remember the stories of people getting busted for CP on the Tor bitcoin sites???
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: April 01, 2013, 09:15:23 PM
These people are thieves plain and simple. Feel free to go back and search my issue so you don't get burned.
Yeah don't use Bitinstant. They purposely move your deposit to one of their accounts and pretend to try
to help you, all the while blaming YOU for the "error" you made. It is in fact their way of scamming people.
They do it at random so it looks like an accident and then blame the customer. Google around and you
will find a few people who are having this issue. Bitinstant support is naturally horrible since they NEVER
plan on giving you money once they do this. They also aggravate you to the point where they claim
you were just uncooperative so they can end their "service". Gareth and Yankee did NOTHING but banter
back and forth about how everything was MY fault and they were doing everything they could (which was nothing). And blamed me for being upset about it after a month. Bitinstant and their people are thieves
plain and simple. The only reason people keep using them is that they convince people it was all a
misunderstanding or they convince a user it was THEIR fault and not the fault of the system they
are using. And btw there is NO WAY to tell from the quote slip that the deposit is actually
going to where a user implied...You won't know the TRUE location until all is said and done.
The quote information DOES NOT verify the deposit is going to the
correct location and then once it's sent viola....it's in the wrong account and they can't help you!
Big surprise!! So when s#%$ hits the fan they just pretend it was you and not their system.
Already reported to BBB for selective fraud and have been on the phone with their AG.
Mine is NOT the first complain against them. Going to be hard unless we set up a class
action suit against them but we've been in contact with a few who have been scammed
and we're working on a solution. If you've been scammed I urge you to report it to BBB
and contact the AG in NY,NY.

My only hope is that more people don't get burned.
Yea, this is what irks me.

THEY LURE YOU IN WITH ONE SUCCESSFUL DEAL
And now when things get profitable they just steal your money =_=
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: April 01, 2013, 04:11:42 PM
Ok, bitinstant is rapidly going downhill now.

Just made an order for about $100 of BTC, order is verified and everything, paid 2 hours ago, and nothing. No BTC in my wallet. Yep something is going on behind the scenes here. And I just lost money again =_=
