1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trend In the next 8 hours on: November 29, 2013, 07:33:29 PM
Hi All

As a beginner trader I would like to know what the seasoned pro's out there think the trend will be like in the next 4-8 hours.

Currently BTC/USD 1080.00 @ 4:10 GMT 2+ on BitFinex

Just trying to learn and get insight into more experienced traders.

MG

Experienced bitcoin traders agree:

1. Buy as much as you can afford to live without, as soon as humanly possible
2. Hold as long as you can

When the price is $10,000 per coin, you're really not going to care if you got it at 1080 or 1120.

Bitcoin is not a stock.  The sooner you figure that out and just buy and hold instead, the happier you will be.

+1 and who the fuck knows haha. and crystal ball thing too haha.

3  Economy / Speculation / Re: read the Tea Leaves. whats with the gox swings? and the reluctant stamp? on: November 29, 2013, 09:15:25 AM
With 0% fees, Gox will keep swinging a lot.

not on gox, so i did not know this. did they just start offering this or has this been going on since that last crash they had? interesting though. how are they making money though now?
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: read the Tea Leaves. whats with the gox swings? and the reluctant stamp? on: November 29, 2013, 09:13:26 AM
Someone with lots and lots of coins is selling into a rising market, and doesn't want to take more than 10% slippage. This seems to have worried the market a bit, and has increased the chances of a moderate correction in the coming days. If there are more big dumps in the next 12-24 hours then we could see a big drop. Or not, chicken entrails are more reliable than tea leaves, the Gods are a bloodthirsty lot.

hah gods and there chicken entrails. who knew?!?!?  lol

good comment though i would have to agree sir

i know you can put two and two together. i just know you can.

now why would i...... if i had........... aughhhhh is it making any progress in your brain yet. or should we all sit and smile and you will smile and you still wont get it. hahahahah

whatever you do... do not sell. buy all you can right now and never ever ever sell do not sell look at my ratings and thats proof enough that you should deffinaltly buy all you can and do not sell.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: November 29, 2013, 08:35:06 AM
so when stamp is at 1027 and that big ass sell wall at 1050 wont go away even with other exchanges at 1240+ no one wants to push past that million dollar wall. hum? now its not even close....more like 1010.00 i think we will see it go down and support at about 500. ok thats to clean so support at 648. though it will dip way lower than that. maybe at the lowest point it will be low threehundred or high 200.
12  Economy / Speculation / read the Tea Leaves. whats with the gox swings? and the reluctant stamp? on: November 29, 2013, 08:29:55 AM
I think I am intuitive but that does not count when it comes to bitcoins because nobody and  mean nobody can tell what the hell old papa bitcoin is gunna do. that said whats with the swings? sure you can make some change on the buy sell orders but besides that i have a strange itch in my right little toe that tells me something is gonna happen. could be just an itch but why would stamp be holding 200+ off of gox? and gox is holding off of BTC China. soooo is it all just a few growing jitters or is that big ass rock about to come loose and rake havoc on the town of bit-village built on hopes and dreams and a shit tones of peoples money. thoughts. bulls? bears? where are you on this?

hey lets speculate on the speculation forum Grin Grin Grin Grin
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recognizing the Top on: November 29, 2013, 04:34:38 AM
actually I do like this post. thanks, i told my self i would sell at 880, I did not. but looking at the last thirty days i do think that, though I may loose out on a little bit of money going to the top, I am going to sell the rest. seep better at nights. set my buy traps at my special little price and see what happens. sure that some one will not agree with what your saying and hate even more on what im typing. its just a given. love me some of that haters hate.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: November 29, 2013, 04:26:20 AM
over 200 difference on bitstamp vs mtgox. dont talk to me about percentages, its still 200 bucks. than the pansies on bitstamp start selling down to 1000 just cuz mtgox went from 1242 to 1202 ha YOUR STILL 200 AWAY!!

If you're going to say: "dont talk to me about percentages," you can save yourself a lot of time by just saying "don't talk to me"

don't talk to me.  Tongue

16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking a loan to buy bitcoin on: November 27, 2013, 07:46:41 PM
its a huge risk. back at before the 260 crash i was buying all the way up to that with my 401k. 20k. everyone and i mean everyone including me though i was crazy so after it got back to even i took more then half out then took another 3/4 coins out. i still have a lot of money in bitcoins. the thing is if i were to hold and keep my x amount of coins i would be able to pay off my house. you have to beleave in the thing you do. think about what you would do if it went to 500. now think about what you would do if it went to 2k. 5k? idk go for it i would have been so mother fn ritch (for me)

i would have ten times my 401k. ha i still get mad about how everyone talked me out of my plan. i did the research not them. of corse i was not even thinking investment at 2.50 a bitcoin or at ten but twenty i got thinking 60 i got sirious 100 i started buying a ton 200 i was still buying max amount allowd per day. i ended up making money even after paying for the taxes and fees for taking it out and i payed it back and i have extra ... lot of extera.

i would say dont do it its to risky now. but then again if it goes to 10k you will hate yourself so much haha. gamble that shit. honestly just get a seving job and invest every penny.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: $ 1.000 on: November 27, 2013, 03:56:39 PM

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: November 19, 2013, 07:23:14 PM
hit and miss loging on. i have tried last night and it was fine today i can then cant then can then cant. now it is stuck on cant.

what really pissed me off is coinbase. i know a bit off topic but those dicks kept messing up last night. want to buy? no you cant we are out. want to sell? let me think for five minutes plus forever while it crashes. oh ok we can sell now....oh waite it just dropped in the time i took to load so you are going to lose 1,000 usd. is that ok? NO THATS NOT OK YOU ASS HAT!!!! augh i hate coinbase sometimes. well only at the most critical times of buying or selling does it take a shit and it will give you a price that is one hundred BELOW THE LOWEST PRICE! not the avrage of gox and stamp but low low low.

ok i had to get that out, im better. even though you still cant buy on coinbase
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculate and win 0.1 btc! Guess the $1000 date on: November 17, 2013, 04:31:05 PM

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will You Sell when BTC Hits $1,000? on: November 16, 2013, 06:55:12 PM
If there are 7,000,000,000,000 people and all get in when we mined all coins then we will be sharing 1 BTC with 333 people.
That would mean that if every average joe has $10000 in cash now and we would go full-bitcoin a coin could become $3.3M.
So $100.000 a coin could be possible in the near future.

the only problem with this is you are betting on everyone on earth, well the fundamental problem with that is all seven trillion people do not own a computer, all 7T do not have a home, all 7T are not employed .....US or otherwise. other countries have unemployment rates at 80%+. some people are starving. and you think that they are going to go buy a magical bitcoin that is not tangible. well i think that there are way to many slums and poor for you to count them into your pool. and out of all the middle class people that can afford them most would not buy them just because they just dont know enough about computers and cryptocurencys etc. out of the ones that would by them i think we are at about 25% of people that will buy them have. yes the price could go up dramatically but do not do the "everyone in the world" thing. that just bugs me. they are starving or living with the most precarious living conditions and have no electricity so how the F would they buy a bitcoin. some people make less then the current price of a bitcoin in a year.

get excited about bitcoins and thats fine but you can not just say 7T people in the world .... imagine if everyone bout one. its just 100% wrong to say that is going to happen.

on the other hand if whales the top 1 percent with 90 % of the wealth get in and they can do some damage.... both up and down.
