On another note my 35k vested XEM has not harvested anything for about a week now. Seems a bit weird since I have been getting some rewards consistently. Is there a probability calculator or something similar so I can know if I am just running bad or is something not right?
All of the Supernodes were updated and restarted this week. Please check if you are connected to a node.

LOLLLLLLLLLL Your website says 1 DasCoin for €0,2232 Who is expensive here. What is dascoin anyway? Sounds like some other coin.
It's not even a coin, it's a scam like Onecoin.

does the nem android wallet harvest blocks? i see i have a vested balance but 0 harvsted blocks! why???
ps: i have a 0.86% poi
You cannot turn the harvesting on in Android Wallet, you need to use other client(NCC, Nano Wallet) to do that. Once it's turned on, you can see the results in your mobile wallet.

Hey Guys,
I'm planning to start local harvesting for educational purposes, but I'd really like to know if you have the minimum required to start it, which is 10k XEM, I would have any influence in the network to stand any chance to harvest something. How can I know that? I'd appreciate technical details about how it is the harvesting workflow and chances attached to an average Joe.
Thanks in advance
White paper contains all of the technical details: https://www.nem.io/NEM_techRef.pdf100k XEM is recommended, with 10k XEM it will take a lot of time to find a block. Right now there is a lot of empty blocks so harvesting isn't profitable.

How is NEM different from the other crypto coins ?
What does it bring unique to the ecosystem ?
Can NEM ever be used as a digital currency for payment purposes ?
Why is the coin cap so large ? Are all coins on the market ?
There is only about four times more XEM than Bitcoin. That's because 1 Bitcoin = 100 000 000 satoshi and 1 XEM = 1 000 000 units.

that would make it possible to buy xem just to earn a silver coin and they could dump right after
Would you risk investing 20k$ just to get a coin worth ~100$?

Any tutorial how to do that correctly? I am also interested. [/quote] You need to replace these 4 files which are in the nis subfolder(delete 4 files which ends with 0.6.77-BETA and paste new ones that ends with 0.6.79-BETA): nem-core-0.6.79-BETA.jar, nem-deploy-0.6.79-BETA.jar, nem-infrastructure-server-0.6.79-BETA.jar, nem-peer-0.6.79-BETA.jar.

I got NEM harvesting set up.... But I just dumped 11k into my account NEM wallet... and there is an error that pulls up that says "Oops! ERROR 700 NIS: HARVESTING INELIGIBLE". Does the delegated harvesting need to be at a certain level for me to start harvesting... and if so is this done automatically or do I need to do something special? You need 10k XEM 'vested'. 10% of your unvested balance vests every 24 hours. So tomorrow you will have 1.1k XEM vested. 2 days from now you will have 2090(1.1k XEM + 990 XEM) xem vested. Gotcha!!! Thanks Spider! So, when I have 10k vested in about 10+ days I'll be able to start harvesting. Unless, I put more in and then that amount will be vested within 24 hours as well. 100k XEM or more will allow you to harvest after 24h.

Interested. Can we pay with XEM?
You might want to take a look at the designs that I think spider made competition for. it was on nem::red I think http://nemfund.cupsell.com/This is a Polish shop but I think they send to EU. Edit: They don't accept cryptocurrencies.
