241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vietnam bursts an illegal casino who used to handle bets worth $3 billions on: July 28, 2020, 10:14:28 AM
Asia is too big, and everything there is big, so does gambling industry. Macau is bigger than all other gambling cities, and they wager more money there then anywhere else in the world.

Macau is one of the most law-abiding territories in Asia. It is well known for its gambling industry, but organized crime and fixing is very rare. Most of the casinos are owned by well known companies. And perhaps that is the reason why many of the Chinese and other gamblers prefer less well known destinations such as Cambodia and Vietnam.

After Las Vegas, Macau is the most visited place for gambling. If not mistaken even gambling constitute to 85% contribution in their economy. So it is all gambling and the tourist that comes to visit Macau. Also, people who cannot afford to travel Vegas, ensure that they do visit Macau to enjoy the gambling and nightlife out there. Since China and Macau are quite close by so people do visit on Friday night and then go back to China on Sunday.

Finally, IPL to start in September and end in November means they aren't cutting out on games. Without audience it won't be fun to watch but still something better than nothing. I wish they play in India only as the situation in other countries would make it more risky for them and the other players.

In a country where daily new highs are being made then previous day and situation does not look good as it is spreading way too fast now so it would not be possible to conduct in such situation as also the security in IPL needs to be provided which state may not be able to handle at this time. So, decision to move outside is correct as per this situation.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is $10,000 on: July 28, 2020, 07:39:34 AM
What we are waiting for finally happens in front of us. Bitcoin price finally increases so high and breaks the $11k barrier, although a few hours ago, the price back to $10k level, but now, the price back to $11k even more. I am happy to see that, and I think this is bullish that we wait and we want. But I wonder how higher bitcoin prices can go up because we don't know about that.
I just realized that this is the first time bitcoin has exceeded the price of $ 11k in 2020. However, I think this is a good increase. I'm waiting for a higher price, it's just that seeing bitcoin prices stabilize above the $ 10k price in over a month is good enough. Yeah, but I still expect higher prices.

It had crossed 11k and was above that levels for some time and then started to take a dip again back and now at 10900$. I think it is not supporting above 11k, but will see if it can test again and will it be able to stay above those levels or will fall back again. But it has crossed very quickly from 10 to 11k .
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: As Ethereum begins to appreciate in the market what is the fate of other alts? on: July 27, 2020, 05:40:15 PM
For sure Ethereum is pumping like crazy because of the DeFi.
I am also a hodler of Ethereum and I am very grateful of my choice of altcoin, the second-highest market cap on cryptocurrency really didn't disappoint me.
For the other altcoins, let's should not tell that they will correlate with Ethereum, but if the Bitcoin dominance will continue to drop, then for sure most of the altcoins will also make their own bullish moves.

Those who bought at $50-70 when it dumped would be smiling to the banks already. The dominance still continues, when I created the OP it was around $282. It is $312 currently.

This was a long wait before ETH crosses 300$ and with bitcoin crossing 10700$ will will continue ur to see ETH and other altcoins also will rise and will participate in this increase in price . All the investors would be happy to find this levels and will want that it continue to grow at this pace so that people can make some money on this levels . Any dips here is a good buying time .

14th June onwards I guess the whales started winning and due to which the profits kept on declining and it’s hard to see when the profits take a deep so much that it is almost near your initial investment doe from last 3.5 months. Good thing is that you are not in negative and it might become better with the time to come.
246  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ LOOT.BET — Made For Live Betting | Esports, Slots, Mini Games on: July 27, 2020, 03:01:31 PM
But you're saying that you've been around since 2016. While your social networks confirm that (for instance, Twitter account was created in October 2016), how come you appear on Bitcointalk only now? In 2016, the market had fewer big names and more chances of succeeding, so why weren't you here? Or is it that you started accepting cryptos only recently?

We do support cryptocurrencies for a long time, but the main focus has been on regular marketing tools like social media and esports sponsorships. Today we have slightly more opportunities to invest our time in platforms we never worked with, as well as make our presence here stronger.

Since you are being from long time in this business, so you have a very good chance to build the trust factor among the users as that is the priority for many while gambling it. The more visible you become on the forum you will have more traffic to the site, and this will lead to better business. For this marketing is must and different promotions or giveaway will add value to it.

So here's my update for week11!!
I just noticed that there is no ongoing update regarding OP's investment. I wonder why? Did he announce that he'll stop creating weekly report?

I am aware that the last few weeks experienced continuous bankroll drop due to numerous whales betting large amount of bitcoin, but i think that the bankroll is now at recovery.

There was an update, the latest was week 12,

So here's my update for week12!!

~snip~
There's no weekly update anymore because if there's a weekly, the latest update should be week 14..
I think OP got tired, I understand, maybe giving a monthly update would be okay.

Truly, a weekly update here would be a better if possible since in between the returns went into negative for many of them so thus weekly basis would just indicate how the investment turns out to be or if returns are getting better over a period of time or big whales are still making profits. Just would help other investors looking to invest in it.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 27, 2020, 06:51:38 AM
In my opinion, the current situation in the cryptocurrency market clearly indicates a favorable outcome. I believe that it is necessary to take into account the fact that after the halving of bitcoin there was no significant market landings and this already speaks of hope for good prospects. In addition, Bitcoin mining has halved and therefore there is a decrease in supply in the market, and the number of users increases from time to time. today bitcoin is $ 9,963. A little more and the boundary of 10.000 will be overcome.

We are seeing a good rise now and bitcoin has been above the 10k$ price huddle for some time now. Though this does not mean that it cannot fall back below only thing we will just need to check how much support can we find at this level or will the whales start to sell and make some profits from these levels.

Have bought the tickets for couple of draws whose results would be tomorrow. Let us see where the luck takes me to and if I can win some amount or no. It’s fun at times and the excitement continues till we do not see the result is out and did we happen to win or no. Hope for the best.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: July 26, 2020, 01:33:32 PM
Only if bitcoin stays above 10000$ in coming time then it could seems it can move upwards else we can see it can slight a bit below 10k$ again. So for investing better to wait for some time and see how does it moves. It would be volatile now and could move either ways.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth address crossed $300 on: July 26, 2020, 12:36:27 PM
I am very pleased to see the pumping, Ethereum already crossed $300. I think in running year 2020 Ethereum will hit $1000. What is your opinion?
Mate, don't be so hopeful. ETH's support is at $ 320 and if it can't break this price then I think ETH will quickly fall. And if it goes beyond that price then I think $ 350-400 is possible, but $ 1,000 at the end of the year is too difficult.

With bitcoin crossing of 10000$, altcoins have started to move up as well and good news for ETH holders too to see ETH crossing 300$ mark. Let us wait and see if it can cross the said mark of 320$ and being hopeful of seeing 400$ mark soon. I also do not think we should be expecting 1000$ mark in such a short time. But can be near 500$ near year end if good runs continue.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 26, 2020, 12:05:21 PM
Everyone loves underdog winning the game but if you are not helping yourself then you don't deserve anything. Windies team can only wish for some kind of miracle now.

188/7 188/8
197 all out. This match proves how inconsistent West Indies are. They had a golden opportunity to end the series with a win or draw in the 2nd test, but messed up royally giving the English side the win that they deserve.

I think England will aim at scoring 280 and declaring in order to provide a 450 run lead which should put them in the clear quite easily. If anyone bet on West Indies, they must be feeling disappointed right about now.

England have taken a very good 1st innings lead and this would put lot of pressure on West Indies from now on. Their chances of drawing the test match is also slim unless rain could help them from here. England would give them a target of around 400 probably and would ensure WI gets minimum 1.5 days for their last innings.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetKing sponsors kenya football , is it a publicity stunt ? on: July 26, 2020, 09:09:34 AM
Well that is surely a risky move. They must be so sure that they wont be chased for their existing concerns relating to them as a scam. Sponsoring is a big move since this would surely make them a popular and people would start digging up more information about them. I just hope that they fix their Bad Reputation after doing stuffs like this although it might be just a publicity stunt to cover up their mistakes.

If they do not close the previous allegation it will have a bad impact on them only. Because running away from such things would not help until they fix it. People would be researching on internet about the site and would come to know about their previous history and this will create a bad publicity for them.

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your top 5 coins for HODL? on: July 25, 2020, 01:33:55 PM
Your list is also good if I have enough money then my holding coin list will be like this as i believe these coins are best for short and long term holding.
Bitcoin
Ethereum
LEND
Tron
ADA

Top 2 coins of the list would be held by many people. As over years of time btc and ETH has proved that it is worthy to stay invested in all times. Also, the rest of the coins might different from each one as the risk taking capacity will vary and also the research and strategy is different for all.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ask]; Start betting on horse racing gambling. on: July 25, 2020, 09:34:34 AM
You are not into horse racing if you do not have a system to track a favorite horse in a given race, you should have one and you should also integrate other tipster advice, it's like making consensus on who has the best pick, and why it is a good pick, it's a very exciting gambling form I guess any kind of races excite people.

Indeed racing is very exciting and be it car or horse with racing the emotions gets attached so much that when the run begins due to the betting amount also is involved at time ourself feels like we are jockey and running the horse and trying to make it super quick so that you win the race and also bet. At times I move from one end to another during the race time to get better view of the horse in live matches.

259  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Helping People in Pandemic Times on: July 25, 2020, 09:07:45 AM
In past few months each of us would have witnessed that there are people whose life has affected a lot during this pandemic time or going through a major crisis due to no work for daily wage earners, people who live on roadside or such people.

Have you in any specific way or in general got a chance or have helped them in any sort or planning to do it. It may not necessarily be always financial but in other mode also will do. If so kindly share your story so that it might be an inspiring to read for all of us and may also motivate others to follow as well.

In my case, though helper could not come at my place from last 4 months but not reducing their salary and paying them inspite of no show of work as its not their mistake too.

On regular basis give food to the security guards of premises and also to the sweeper who have started coming now so that they do not have to spend too much on eatables from buying outside. Trying to help in a small way though, but it would be very big for the recipient.

Try your best to help if possible.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: July 24, 2020, 12:05:40 PM
If you look globally, casinos can be attributed to bad things, because as you said, it ruins the lives of some people, and as we know most people are not successful in casino games. In addition, here you can add the fact that people who lose in a casino become temporarily unable to provide for themselves, their family, as well as pay for services and taxes, of course, everything depends on the degree of wealth of the individual. All this leads us to an even greater degree of deterioration of affairs locally around each individual, and globally between all of them within the framework of a separate state and, if you look above, the world. Add money laundering and other delights with which it is connected here, we will get a far from unambiguous result.

There are many things that destroy people's lives and do it very quickly. For example, if you become addicted to alcohol, you can stop being a normal person. Everything is good in moderation. You need to know this and strive for it. Many people have lost their property and families due to their addiction to casinos. However, this does not mean that the casinos should be closed and denied access to all people.

That is right. Usually people would just ask why not just close casinos when there are a lot of people addicted to gambling. There are a lot of reasons for that but the main one is that it gives huge taxes to the government that they can use to improve or develop a country. Another thing is that they are always warned to do things moderately, to be responsible so they should not blame it on casinos.

Taxes play a big role in such cases due to which government would not like to stop earning from it by not allowing the casinos to operate. It is upto every person to know their limits and contain themselves because there are many other things as well from which we can get addicted to it. But gambling is quite easy to get addicted because people look at it as an easy money-making machine.
