1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: November 07, 2017, 03:48:15 PM
Bitcoin prediction in 2017. we can see more and more new users or communities, and the growing bitcoin in the community will be positional. where bitcoin prices are good every month even in the next year, we'll see the actual bitcoin price will be even more than the current price ...
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Power Ledger Token on: November 03, 2017, 02:41:14 PM
I am little disappointed. Receive only 330 powr token. It is now $33 and this is the very small amount for a social media campaign. I do both, FB and TW from the begin.
Power ledger raised hugely amount of money until ico end. One of worst pay campaign where I participate

maybe 330 only from fb campaign not both campaign, just waiting dev to explain about it,
i join fb and twitter campaign with huge credit point but i just get little token now
so be patient

Same here, I got a transaction of 497 tokens. How to know I got this transaction from Twitter and what is the one for Facebook?, If so when to expect the next one?

The same thing with me...Got 7204 credits and a transaction of  497 tokens in my MEW. Very strange. What's going on?)

There should be a statement from the campaign manager, about what distribution has been distributed to all participants, so everyone knows what distribution has been sent by the team ...
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: November 03, 2017, 07:09:59 AM
Yes I think it's obviously possible that digital currency will take the place of paper money.Because now a days peoples are much dependent on digital currency more than cash. For example Unites States, Netherland,Denmark  and so on.
So i think here's a great possibility that digital currency will ever replace paper money.

Replace as the main currency, probably. But to say that it will wipe fiat's existence is folly. You've mentioned here developed countries that can have easy access to technology that will support a paperless system. But the third world and poorer countries, i doubt that its going to work there
Yes its possible and it’s easy for bitcoin to replace paper money as we know that bitcoin has already replace other crypto and the reason behind this is that bitcoin have now a very strong position in market with high price and bitcoin provide a lot of good opportunity to the people so bitcoin have a power to replace paper money.

Right, I really agree with you, bitcoin is very easy to use, what else. if bitcoin replaces paper money, I strongly agree, because it does not bother. if traveling abroad and of course we are required to exchange currency first to replace the currency of the country, if using bitcoin everybody do not have to bother to swap currency, at least using payment with bitcoin will make it easier for everyone ...
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin on: November 03, 2017, 05:43:44 AM
Bitcoin can be everything that makes people who hold it will make it easier for businessmen to transact between countries, but many risks must be accepted for the holder in any case they still have to be careful to choose their investment to get to a larger profit .. .
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 02, 2017, 01:18:12 AM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

It is true that everyone fears hacking and deceit, but there are many more problems in terms of choosing altcoins that lead to big losses in choosing to play trading, and setting up fees or entering wallet addresses is even more frequent. only the hasty man who finally made it happen. and carelessness for those who hold the bitcoin itself ..
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][STEX.Exchange]1-st Exchange 3.0 Aggregator to trade all coins in one place on: November 01, 2017, 10:10:12 PM
Hello STeX Community!
Good news. As you may know - to set ourselves apart from ICOs with little to no working product, we have committed to functional, usable modular releases that over time will make up the entirety of the STeX platform.
So as promised, we've pulled another rabbit out of our hat.

Our one-of-a-kind instant exchange gateway module has been released, allowing users to trade between ETH and BTC - without registration - right now!
You can access it here:
https://gateway.stex.exchange

This is just a taste of things to come as we ramp up into our ICO phase.
Last month we revealed DEEP - a visual blockchain explorer - and we may yet have more lined up very soon.

It looks really good, but I'm more interested in waiting for a bigger exchange of such exchanges, I strongly support this project with a very good concept for everyone ... Wink
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (Exchange launch - November, 1) on: November 01, 2017, 09:25:45 PM
Hi dev whats the next exchange to you will get in? I bought some more cheap mnx though. its the most dump in livecoin

I really hope the team can provide a better exchange and have a big investor in it, although Livecoin looks very good, but it would be nice if there are additional exchanges like Bittrex or Hitbtc which is quite popular nowadays ..
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 09:02:29 PM
What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.

Bitcoin's price became high because it is populated and used by a big group if people. Marketing, trading, selling up to investing. If people stop buying bitcoin, then bitcoin's price will be decreased into the lowest digit. It will be useless if operation of bitcoin will stop.

This is true, because if no one uses bitcoin anymore the price will be gone, but i don't think people are going to stop buying bitcoin because they see something in it. This just doesn't seem right at all.

Why should they do that ? They want to earn money so they buy bitcoin. Its like saying are people going to stop buying games. LOL
If that would be happen people stop buying bitcoin ,so bitcoin is useless because there is no transactions can be happened anymore in bitcoin and it will vanish in the map of crypto world. But this topic is considered as a rumor because we noticed now that bitcoin is continuous rising. So that's mean many people engaged of it who invest ang buying bitcoin.

I think it's very unlikely people will stop buying bitcoin, for reasons that make no sense, in fact we can see around the world many countries buy bitcoin even though current prices are already expensive, but if they buy at the moment, nothing it is unlikely that in the next year bitcoin will continue to increase and they will get to a bigger profit, than they previously bought bitcoin at current prices ..
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 01, 2017, 08:50:40 PM
It may be slowly land to teach teenagers or children, where they are sometimes very much different thinkers at the age of twilight. like us, think of the future, and they sometimes still think to play or have fun with their peers, so it's very hard to tell them directly or coercion, just one way people might be here to teach them to provide direction in advance ...
1250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Veficiation Issues on: October 31, 2017, 10:32:13 PM
When I registered on Bittrex I filled my name and last name translated from russian to english as Andrey. After some time when I logged on to the exchange I got a request to pass verification. Basic verification failed, cause they couldn't find me amoung public records, so I started enhanced verification. I did everything according to their rules and uploaded my photo and documents to their website, but verification also failed. The form for adding documents dissapeard.  So I open a case for support team. After 2 weeks they closed my case and now I got a new error on the verification page: Name Mismatch. The reason is that in my passport my name is translated from Ukrainian as Andrii and I filled it like Andrey (transled from russian). And the problem is that I can't edit it anymore. So I opened another case asking for manual verification and described the situation in detailes. So the ticket is still opened and I haven't got any response from Bittrex support.

I already have some savings on this exchange but I'm not able to withdraw anything, because of this issue.
Does anyone of you faced the same issues? And if yes how did you solve it? And how much time does it usually takes for the Bittrix support to operation a ticket?

There are similarities with me, I also experienced similar things but my account is one year old, but recently I got a request to pass verification, but I've tried several times to do that, but it all failed to do it, the wonder. I can withdraw my funds in the exchange ..
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 07:11:51 PM
first I heard about bitcoin sometime in 2013 but at that time i was not interested in bitcoin for fear of investing in something new? I was just interested in bitcoin when the price is getting expensive, and I joined this forum 6 months ago. now bitcoin is my favorite coin.
looks like late for join not early but no problem. welcome in bitcoin world very good and interest

for me i know bitcoin in september 2016 first time i heard about bitcoin and i'm so interested

Maybe a lot of things we miss from bitcoin, from the price is still in the range of $ 400/1BTC. and nowadays everybody gradually recognizes bitcoin and more and more users use bitcoin, I hope everyone uses bitcoin year after year, and every year will continue to increase the bitcoin user population ..
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: October 31, 2017, 06:59:51 PM
The first difference between Bitcoin and real money is on the basis of their usage .Bitcoin is used for online transactions and real money is used for ofline transactions. The other difference between them is on the basis of their acceptance .Real money is accepted all over the world but Bitcoin have some acceptance issues in many countries.Bitcoin is decentralized in nature and real money is centralized in nature. The investments provided by Bitcoin are more profitable than the investmemts provided by real money .Bitcoin is a modern form of currency but real money is traditional form of currency.

Correct. Obviously that is very much the difference and the way it is used is very different from bitcoin, where bitcoin will make it easier for users to transfer money directly, even to the corners of the world, but unlike the real money, we can not send directly, using real money , and we must first send it through the bank, in order to send it and of course it will take a lot of time ..
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: October 25, 2017, 11:38:49 PM
Maybe the government does not want people to lose so much money in terms of having bitcoin, because we know that the risk of having bitcoin is very large, if not properly guarded, it is likely to lose bitcoin, so that's just why every country forbids the existence of bitcoin ...
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again the bitcoin price falls to $ 4000? on: October 25, 2017, 10:55:08 PM
I think that if Bitcoin drops back to the $ 4000 price, it will not worry a lot of people, at least everyone is looking for bitcoin for free and bitcoin is still worth it from their point of view, but bitcoin needs a downturn to keep the stability so all altscoins do not fall so badly in every market ...
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: October 24, 2017, 09:29:39 PM
Bitcoin is in no way responsible for the increase in criminality ratio.Even criminals won't get to be paid in bitcoins as their transactions could be easily traced and they could be caught.
But come to think off that criminality and illegal transactions are really lot on what you anticipated.Try to look the transactions do happen on dark web you will eventually see on your own eyes on how illegal stuffs been done and most of them do make use on bitcoin. We cant really blame bitcoin since its just a tool being used on those transactions but sad to think off why those people do make use of bitcoin on negative way.
Regarding, bitcoin being used in criminal activities. It is not more of advantage than any other currency. Any currency can easily facilitate crime. It is just like people usually connect it with black market and criminal activities because of initial records. Specially those who have never used really in bitcoin.

My opinion is, it all depends on how the person is using bitcoin well or vice versa, it may be very easy for somebody to use bitcoin for something bad, but it can be traced easily, we can see where we can see so many people which transact on a daily basis, so it could be possible the crime by using bitcoin will be quickly tracked by the authorities ...
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is The Bitcoin Become New Money In The World on: October 24, 2017, 09:22:05 PM
If I think personally about bitcoin, to replace the world currency, it could happen, where all countries to buy everything using dollar currency, when the dollar is replaced with bitcoin, most likely all countries will receive bitcoin and probably will use bitcoin for the construction of an imprastructure of a country and to facilitate their financial interests ...
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 24, 2017, 06:43:48 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
I think the best reason why the bitcoin is the most populae cryptocurrency is because it has many good quality than the other cryptocurrency. Many investors prefer to invest their to the bitcoin because of the characteristics and qualities that the bitcoin has.
To be honest, the best reason to make many people want to buy it is they want to make money through trading and its price fluctuation in the market.
Check again the price of Bitcoin in few weeks ago, you can see it just ~ $4,000 and even, it has dumped below $3,000 in a short time.
But the highest price of Bitcoin in this week is more than $6,000.
What do you think about this price Grin? Is it amazing?

That's something very special for someone who has bitcoin, at the current price, but this is just the beginning of the current bitcoin price increase at 6000$, we will not know for later in the year, surely there will be a surprise for bitcoin prices in the year ahead, maybe it will touch 8000$ or it could be 10.000$  Smiley Wink...
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: October 24, 2017, 05:36:11 PM
The first time I know about Bitcoin about few years ago when I read a article about Bitcoin but I didn't really care about it but last year when my friend told me that he was earning Bitcoin it made me very interested and I asked him a lot about Bitcoin and how to earn it then my friend shared everything he know about Bitcoin for me Cheesy. It's my story and he's the first person let me know about this forum Cheesy

But if you want to find out more possibilities you will get more, and easier to find bitcoin, than in this forum, if we do not dare to plunge deeper then we just stare or hope in this forum, for example you can play terading or invest, to find your bitcoin income in search of bitcoin in the easiest way ..

This is just to anticipate if at any time, this forum is closed !!  Smiley Wink
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2017, 05:22:24 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

I don't think so, the thing is the banks only accept money that is in a form of cash. It's like they cannot store something that has a physical form to give it value. Unless, the bank adjust to accept, or they make a physical form of bitcoin.

That's a very impossible thing, we can see that many banks in every country do not accept bitcoin, even they think bitcoin is their biggest rival, not only that in every bank do not want to see their caster transactions, unlike bitcoin where we can see or tracing the address of anyone who is emblazoned from the biggest person who holds the bitcoin itself, so in my opinion it will not happen until whenever, if that happens the possibility of the country already discussing with the government ...
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possible End of Bitcoin on: October 24, 2017, 04:28:47 PM
Everyone has the right to his own opinion and attitude and I don't deny that ETH is good coin but still it can't be compared with Bitcoin and I don't believe it will ever take its place. And Bitcoin will not end or vanish so easy like some think. Many coins are fighting for Bitcoins' place and their users hope one day will be so valauble and accepted like Bitcoin bit on the top there is place for only one cryptocurrency and that is Bitcoin. So, dream on.

I agree with you that so many coins want to compete with bitcoin even though there are so many ETH enthusiasts, but they all need bitcoin, for their needs, even when bitcoin prices rise, we can see where all exchanges show a decrease in the price of altcoin, ETH, so it's no longer denied that bitcoin will be strong and there's no ending, for the coming year, and I hope bitcoin can replace the world-wide currency, to make it easier for the country to invest even for business ...
