1  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we entering bear market? How low will btc go in the coming year? on: May 30, 2021, 05:10:23 AM
Don't be to pessimistic. Bitcoin can't go lower than it did the last year.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new funny/joke coin on: April 18, 2021, 09:04:00 AM
Looks like your coin will combine the best features of Bitcoin, Doge and ERC20 tokens. What's about making transaction free?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Google on: April 18, 2021, 08:57:05 AM
Bitcoin uses the benefits of being the first. So no matter its market capitalization, Bitcoin is "Google" in the crypto world.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Trader buys $36 million of copper and gets painted rocks instead on: March 15, 2021, 08:07:32 AM
Unprecedented. Just wondering. If I decide to invest in Tether gold, will it represent real gold or painted stones too.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I convince people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid? on: March 15, 2021, 08:03:38 AM
Why do you want spend you time explaining evident facts? Just show them a financial pyramid definition and stop casting pearls before swine.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 25, 2021, 09:03:36 AM
Biden will be better for business than Trump.

First of all, the stock market does better under Democrats. Secondly, the Trump presidency is unhelpful for business, especially small business. Business hates volatility. It's hard to make significant plans and investment without predictability. Biden is focused on ending the pandemic.
7  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: -what are the best Bitcoin wallets? on: January 25, 2021, 08:46:13 AM
I'd strongly recommend Trezor for storing big amounts of crypto and Ownr wallet for keeping small number of coins.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies! Beware of using Centralized wallet like Coinbase. on: December 27, 2020, 07:55:34 AM
I thought Coinbase wallet is non-custodial service unlike its exchange.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Appeal to Everyone to secure your future on: December 27, 2020, 07:16:49 AM
Quote
You never know in 10 years time 1 satoshi may be worth 1 dollar.
One can say the opposite. You never knows what will happen in 10 years, Bitcoin may go to the Moon or loose most of its current value.
Actually, satoshi represents Bitcoin 100 millionth part. How could Bitcoin price gain almost 99 Million dollars in 10 years?
10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: October 09, 2020, 10:02:38 AM
Im sure that XRP army will win this poll
It's more like walking dead now than XRP army.
Still, I agree that it's upon all users to decide which crypto should be added next.
I hope that you're right, because XRP is basically unusable, non profitable half dead coin with high market cap.
There are a lot of much nicer options for any wallet to add in, rather than xrp.
I'm not a Ripple supporter, but XRP is the third crypto buy the market cap. It proves XRP is demanded, so I'm sure adding XRP will make Ownr more popular.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's IP address found on: October 09, 2020, 09:55:34 AM
Why do some people try to found Satoshi? He wanted to stay anonymous and he deserved it.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best ways of introducing someone to bitcoin ? on: October 04, 2020, 04:49:21 AM
I don't want to be an annoying Bitcoin maximalist, so never tell people about Bitcoin until they ask me about it.
13  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: October 04, 2020, 04:45:46 AM
I think there are several possible scenarios.
1) Bitcoin would become the world wide used medium of exchange.
2) If the internet shut down due to military actions, Bitcoin would die.
14  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best IOS app to handle multiple wallets on: September 28, 2020, 05:22:50 AM
I use Ownr wallet app on my iPhone. This wallet is relatively young and not so popular, but it offers such features as importing an old wallet and generating many Bitcoin accounts.
It is better not to suggest it for beginners because there are a lot of closed source wallets that have turned into scam.
Open-source wallets are considered to be more trustworthy because the developers have nothing to hide, but I've been using Ownr for a year or more. It wasn't ever compromised.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future holds for bitcoin on: September 28, 2020, 05:09:55 AM
Bitcoin won't be the official medium of exchange in cashless society. The future form of money is CBDC, not Bitcoin.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump's Economy or Biden’s Economy - which version is better. on: September 25, 2020, 07:39:22 AM
Biden's economy is more attractive for average citizens (=most of Americans). And, of course, the top 1% of the USA population will consider Trump's economy as a better version.
17  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Does a smart wallet exist? on: September 19, 2020, 03:24:18 AM
I don't know if the first feature your wrote about can be implemented into any crypto wallet app. The second one is really common. For example, I use Ownr wallet. It shows all transaction history.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin society on: September 19, 2020, 03:15:45 AM
Bitcoiners all over the world aren't integrated enough to be called the "Bitcoin society".
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying a private jet with Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2020, 08:55:27 AM
It's good, but not the best example of Bitcoin adoption. I'd like to be able to buy food with Bitcoin in a nearest supermarket.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and crypto currencies are getting dangerous on: August 23, 2020, 04:49:56 AM
You want to avoid kyc, use decentralized exchanges which don't require users verification. Buying Bitcoin anonymously is hard nowadays, but it's possible.
