What are the best ways of introducing someone to bitcoin ?

Hello,

I was thinking and wondering of different ways to introduce my family, friends and colleagues to bitcoin and I tried to convince them, but couldn't pitch in perfectly to get them going.

Things I tried

• Showed them the current value of BTC pegged to fiat, which did get thier attention for a while.
• Told them about how it all started, how the community adopted the use of BTC and how it all boomed.
• Showed them my wallets : how easy and fast it is to send and recieve to almost anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection.
• Introduced them to a few exchanges to show how easy it is to buy or sell whenever they want to.
• Told and proved to them how secure and anonymous a transaction is and how fast it can be for cross border transactions compared to other financial institutions.

Well, I pretty much tried to do everything I could. Now after they listened to all that I said, watched everything as that I showed to them as a demo, they did thier own research. They started shooting a few questions like

• See how often the price drops, this could be a bubble
• See Google tells crypto currency is used in black market to keep anonymity and make illegal trasactions
• See these types of currencies are used for the purpose of gambling to be in disguise

So basically, what I am looking for as an answer is, an approach that can be used in order to gain interest of people, stating all the good things and the bad things about BTC in a manner that a "noob" can understand and try to think, yes this is already beneficial to others, why not I try it too ?

My approach is a bit simple in introducing them
first i look for someone who will really have interest on bitcoin or crypto
then i tried to dig in on what are your investments or how you spend your money?
Also giving examples bank vs bitcoin when it comes to interest
and how easy it is to have a wallet, this are just the things or way that i do.

Show them some documentaries how our current financial system works. How federal reserves as a private entity print money and lend it to banks. What this money then does on stock and real estate markets. Understanding current financial system is best promotion fro Bitcoin.

The current financial system is based on fiat currencies and almost everyone knows about it. The real challenge it to convince people that bitcoin is better the the fait currencies.

I don't want to be an annoying Bitcoin maximalist, so never tell people about Bitcoin until they ask me about it.

Its difficult to tell people about bitcoin, if they are not interested to know about it. Only those who are curious to learn about this new currency, will hear and listen to us attentively.

This is what I have done.

When I have a few satoshis (a few extra cents I would not miss) I use a platform like Bitrefill and gift some phone credit to any of my friends abroad.

Before doing it I tell them "Hey pay attention to your phone!"

When they receive the gift they ask me how I did it, and then I give a simple explanation about how crypto is borderless.

At that point, I human curiosity may do the rest.

Just give them the idea about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and if you think that they got interested to it, then you should explain furthermore about how it works.

It is really not that easy to understand bitcoin at first due to its complexity and composite structures. But I guarantee you that bitcoin can make you a successful investor once you engaged to it and be patient about its full potential. Although, bitcoin's price is really volatile which can make other users give up on investing on it and that's the reason why some people are not considering it as a good asset.

If you know someone who are struggling in life, let them understand that btc can be their way on coping up with struggles in life. Anyone can be a bitcoin investor and it's effectiveness depends on the investor and season.

But, you've done such a good effort convincing other people. With that said, they'll surely comeback to you if they are really interested and ask for your guidance and help. Never waste your time on people who don't have any interest about what you say because they still won't care. We don't need to please everybody to buy bitcoin because time will come to make them convince that bitcoin is a good investment. It will also their fault if it's already too late to buy bitcoin because they never listen.

Maybe we should deal more with the challenges from new interested people. I think its a better time to encourage family and friends to join in the investment. Get them a wallet and purchase a small amount of coins to them. Bitcoin looks more of a very expensive coin to new investors, the idea is to buy the size you can afford but I tell the close ones you cant see the size of profit in altcoin from bitcoin, however, altcoin has its risk. I tried to tell them not to check the chart daily, the volatility can be scary to new traders.

I would like to share my experience because this is me before my friend introduces me to the use of bitcoin.

In my perspective, the bitcoin is just used for the deep web and any kind of black market transaction, and with the use of this coin before I think it's all illegal. After a few months and years, I discover there are different purposes with the bitcoin but the problem is how do I start where do I make research. I'm glad that a friend of mine is already starting into the different forums reaching and searching about the use of the bitcoin and you know what he introduces to me? You can earn money with bitcoin.

This gives me a lot of curiosity and by that, I ask him to help me what are the things should I need to do so this caught my attention earning money with the use of it. Is there's someone who doesn't want to earn money? I don't think so.

Many people came across in the Bitcoin and in different communities just because of money, yes, that is the fact and we can't deny it.
But in order to earn money, you should learn first the function of Bitcoin and learn how the technology behind this crypto will work. That's not a simple way of introducing Bitcoin, nor just like selling foods on street, it takes time before they will understand that Bitcoin is very useful when it comes to the payment method or storing as a valuable asset.

IMO, it's not introducing, just give them an idea and thought how Bitcoin work. If they are willing to adopt Bitcoin, they will spend time on it to have research once they are interested. Don't waste your time giving them the whole explanation because you can't do that in a single day.
