Hey everyone,
My name is Will and I'm trying to help a friend get his business established online.
I've setup a website for him and I'm currently in the process of adding more products and content. It's a bit bare right now but we're getting there.
Unfortunately at the moment the prices aren't listed in BTC, but if there's enough interest it's something I'll look into setting up.
If we don't stock something you want let me know and I'll see what prices we can get it in for.
I'll personally be dealing with the online side of things so if you have any queries, suggestions etc throw them at me.
You can contact me on here, using the website contact form or via Skype, my name Skype name is hydrourban.
Cheers,
Will

Hmmm tough one this. Just getting into this mining lark.
Going to sell enough each month to cover cost I think for sure. Maybe my van insurance and some fuel hmm and some food....but rest will hoard I think. Im not going to hold out like you $45 guys and up tho.
Ouch, I doubt we'll ever see $31 any time soon. I'm getting out now before it hits $1.

My only issue is that they always have server issues. That's what always puts me off. I don't understand why they encourage their users to connect to specific server. Just have them in a cluster and load balance etc.

I had 3 5850 got 1.5BTC a day 2 weeks ago.. Now I have 6 5850 again getting 1.5BTC a day... Very Very sad...
58 50s And people are RIGHT NOW bidding 58 30's up to $160 on eBay -- at least that's the going "market rate" on eBay for them. Which is ridiculous -- anyone hoping to MAKE MONEY is going to be disappointed, because you'll never see $160 from one of those cards. A person would be better off buying $160 worth of BTC. 5830s, unlike 5850s, do NOT get 0.25 BTC/day. 5830s only get 0.167 BTC/day. Now if it wasn't $160, it might be an OK deal. Perhaps $130 at the absolute highest. Really, what made the 5830 popular was the $110 price point. It's NOT the ultimate card for Bitcoin mining. There are plenty of cards that mine better than that card! When I see people bidding the 5830 up higher than a 5850 or 5870, I have to shake my head. The 5850 gets about 350 MH/s and the 5970 gets about 365 MH/s, with moderate overclocking (no voltage tweaking). Unfortunately, the smart people figure it out first, followed by the pretty smart, followed by those of average intelligence, followed by those of below-average intelligence. Not everyone "figures things out" at the same time.Just like with the Dot-Com bubble, just like with house flipping. There were some people who didn't know the bubble burst even after it burst! They still thought the bubble was intact (rather than burst). Those people, of course, lost plenty of money. You want to be one of the quick ones -- one of the smart ones. A 5870 can get 430 MH/s without touching the voltage.

What's the point in telling people to choose a specific server? Can't you have some sort of load balancing so that if one server goes down you can redirect users to another/backup? I've switched back to deepbit for now as your servers are terrible. Always overloading or going down. The fees from deepbit outweigh the downtime I get from your servers at the moment.

Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 5870 running at 421 mHash/sec!

Anyone running 2 x 5870 in crossfire in Windows 7? I can get them to run at 970 but I find that from time to time the system will BSOD, yet the temps are fine. Highest it ever reaches is 74c.
Is it possibly the crossfire setup being the cause? The reason why I'm using a crossfire setup is because it's running on Windows and I haven't got any dummy plugs.
1x5870 + 970/300 on Windows gets me 412 mh/s in phoenix.
I'm currently running the crossfire setup at 950/300 at the moment to see if this prevents the BSOD.

CPU mining right now is pointless.
Are you sure you have your numbers right? 2 x 5870 can get you 800 MH/s and that's with both cards heavily overclocked.
