I wanted to give CPU mining a go and read this was good place to start. I using the VRM2.poolinat0r.com pool (For slow mining).
I'm getting a lot of "Rejected" notices on CPUminer-Opt. I'm only at 3/6 for "accepted" after about an hour.
Is that normal ... does it mean my computer is "too slow"?
I just wanted to give mining a try for fun.
Thanks

Poolinat0r seems to be down. the page isn't opening and the miner won't connec to the pool .

Even I think the 100 VRM limit for manual payment is too much. It only favors large miners. Again, the auto payout of minimum 10 VRM does not favor small miners. One has to wait for a month to get 10 VRMs.

My FX 8230e does about 320h/s with six threads for Monero which is about 40% of what an RX480 can do on average. If you mine Monero with GPUs, you can also mine with the CPU as it's going to be sitting idle anyways.

Can I mine any ehtash coin other than ETH and coin ETC?

Any idea to fix the block explorer?

If it's RX480 and you have a good PSU, you can mine ETH or some of its variants. Use the following link to calculate your profit. You need to know your hashrate and cost for electricity. https://whattomine.comThe above tool may not be accurate but may give you an idea.

I have two Zotac GTX 1060 AMP cards and two RX 480 8GB from different brands on the same system. Form my experience, I would say do not mix Nvidia and AMD if you are not savvy enough to troubleshoot when problems occur. Here is a summary of what I have been seeing:
These points are specific to mixed mode.
Advantages of NV:
1. You don't need to connect it to a monitor to overclock or monitor the card for temps etc.
Disadvantages:
1. Driver may crash if you close and open the miner for any reason or use a different to mine another coin. Sometimes, you don't have to restart the PC, just reapply settings using Afterburner. But most of the times, you have to restart the PC to use the card again. Windows 10 seems to be better than Windows 7 when it comes to handling driver crashes. 2. The PCIe x1 to 3 X1 switch multiplier (One you use to connect three cards in one PCIx1 slot) does not support Nvidia cards.
Advantages of AMD cards:
1. Driver does not crash often. Even if it does, you can reapply settings with Afterburner without restarting. 2. You can use the PCIe X1 multiplier.
Disadvantages of AMD cards:
1. Must be connected to a monitor or a dummy plug for Overclocking, tuning, and monitoring to work correctly.
If you use Sgminer or any of its variants (like garelessgate miner) in a mixed setup, you may need to use the --gpu-platform {0 | 1} option so that it detects the right GPU. Few miners like Claymore eth miner have the capability to handle mixed mode correctly.
If you absolutely have to go for a mixed setup, be prepared to troubleshoot.

I haven't tried this but you might wanna give it a shot. Can you see if the system posts with a working GPU connected to the monitor and the bricked one to the other slot? If it does, check if ATIWinflash detects the bricked one. If it does, you can flash the BIOS.

Is there any other block explorer that I can use.? The original one still seems to have issues.

Is there a way to solo mine MAC? The daemon client shows this error: Error: There is no RPC client functionality in machinecoind anymore. Use the machinecoin-cli utility instead.

maybe is related to the new architecture/drivers when i was on my 2x7870 months ago i didn't had problems but now i have an nvidia 1070 and i use ccminer It's weird. I can mine with my GTX 1060 using ccminer.

I'm using 2x RX 480s and if I increase the intensity, the miner shows more hashrates than shown in the above image. I just don't understand why pools don't show my hashes.
maybe there'is some incompatibility with the RX480 try to mine some other algo ad check if it happens the same. I'm able to mine every other algo.
