321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to know whether it is right to join bounties? on: April 21, 2020, 01:46:53 PM
Hello friends, I want to know whether it is right to join bounties?
I have seen many threads where people say that your account should be kept clean.
Does the bounty task (Reporting) spoil posting history?
Actually, I want to rank up my account and do some earning, Is it possible both can be done?

Please help me with this what should I do?
It is alright to join bounties, it is your choice anyway.
But for me, it is better to join in signature campaigns instead of social media campaigns that mostly require the participants to post their weekly reports that you are talking about.
Focusing with improving your account is far better than trying to penetrate the bounty sections, as you mentioned, you need to provide reports each time you participate with any bounty job. If you wanted to be clean then contributing to the forum will help you to increase your chance to ranked up.
Just don't rush things up it won't help you.
Well, what joshy23 would be the best option for you. You can disregard bounty campaigns since what you really after is to rank up and make your account better or clean without anything that will ruin your post history, it is better to contribute to this forum by posting constructive content that can help everyone in this forum.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: April 21, 2020, 12:49:07 PM

Success depends on the angle at which you are viewing the situation.

For example, Iagon project is struggling for volume on panxora exchange, but has theor products develop and at beta testing at this moment. Crucially, thats a success on the part of the team; but ideally investors have been left with a valueless token for over 2 years, is that a success on the part of investors ? NO.

So in my opinion, true success is when the project products is developed and functional, and also when the trading volume is impressive, and an example to this is the Mixin (XIN TOKEN) project.

I hope in the future, we have clearer projects, not just copy and paste projects as today.
Isn't it that the given example is only an example of a one-sided success, it can't be called a success if there is a part of the project that is highly affected or having an experience of failure. As you have said, investors have been left with a valueless token, it only means that there will be no new expected investors, so the development and such thing that can improve the project will be useless if the trust of investors is already gone due to their experience.

324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: April 21, 2020, 11:32:02 AM
Actually the aim, objective or the purpose of getting engage into playing gambling depends upon the gambler itself. It is not always about the money because there are gamblers who perceive playing gambling as for entertainment purpose only on which the aim is to relax themselves by playing.
Seen many times about this entertainment and fun purpose.

It's just the latter but the main is about making money with smaller amounts for not high risk takers but for those who made themselves a living  with gambling, they consider it as a source.

I think that up to now only professional poker players like the ones we see on Pokerstars in Tv.All other people and gamblers play to win money but only to face with losses. That is what happens to most of us unfortunately but the truth is we all play with the purpose to make always more and more money.
It's a fact and this entertainment reason, I think it's still there but not that the priority anymore.

A gambler will always aim to win and when we win, there's money = profit.
Well, it is true, this entertainment reason seems to be their way to escape the fact what they really after. I don't think that there are some people who only gamble without aiming to win money. There is no such person with the idea of burning money without expecting a return.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recommended gambling site to play In-Between on: April 21, 2020, 10:46:15 AM
Greetings Everyone,

I just wanted to ask if there is a reputable gambling website that has In-Between or Acey Deucey, also known as Yablon.
So far, there still no such website that offers this kind of game. It is not that popular with most gamblers and the reason is maybe they are more into other types of card games. Even though this game is really entertaining and the game is really exciting, I also find it fair in the same way.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It´s not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: April 20, 2020, 12:03:10 PM
I agree with that, patience is what we really need and we better wait for the right time until our investment will increase their prices. We all know that even after many dump will come in the market, we can make it as our chance to invest and wait until their prices will rise again.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the effect of corona virus on crypto industry?decrease or increase on: April 20, 2020, 11:02:03 AM
Well, the effect of the corona virus is really huge, it gives a huge decrease into the whole crypto market, but I agree with you OP, that we might not see any more corrections deeper than what we previously encounter. Right now the current movement of the market is upward and this could be a good sign that the market is recovering and starting to prepare for the next bull run.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: April 19, 2020, 08:40:14 AM

Malawi allows the age of 5 years to gamble? really very sad...

is it real? age of 5? what law can allow kids to gamble after age 5, do they know how to read or write, how to gamble at age 5, it is insane, i cannot believe that this is true, could someone provide a link to this law, in any language, should be sent to Unicef for children abuse
For me its sounds interesting as well as strange that 5 years old kid only starts going school in my place then how can a government can allow children of age 5 to gamble when they even cant  count the money. I think gambling should be allow only to adults and those who can understand gambling that's why at my place people of age 18 are allow and able to gamble.
That is only the restriction age and not necessarily mean that when a kid turned at the age of 5 means he will actually go to a gambling house and play by himself. We all know that there is no way that a kid will know what he is doing inside a gambling house and there is no way that he can produce enough money to gamble unless he is with his guardian.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: April 19, 2020, 07:32:21 AM
You can still implement this tips even though you are gambling in an online casino.  I am sure you know that physical casinos right now are being closed because of covid-19 and the best choice is to gamble online since gamblers don't have a choice but to gamble online until the covid-19 is cured or gone (recovered).
Well, it is true, like even if you do online gambling you really need to limit your budget since you can just add more money anytime you want as your capital to continuously play gambling.
And about this covid-19 issue, gamblers really don't have any other choice but to play online, but I don't think that most gamblers are actually doing it, people are in need of money and they will save their money for sure instead of burning it in online gambling.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 18, 2020, 03:38:00 PM
Good idea, but the question is how secured will it be if you are only using thier services and not you are the one who have control on your money. And i am sure having that service will also ask for additional fees.

The OP's statement revealed that it was an exchange service which meant it was a type of custodial wallet. In addition to the risks in the custodian wallet in general, the addition of SMS features will create new risks such as encryption, your device/phone number being controlled by someone else, or other risks that have not been thought of.
So far, I don't know whether all mobile devices or SIM card providers set SMS security to be encrypted by default or not. However this needs to be considered.
If it was an exchange service or a type of custodial wallet, then it is actually a third party holding the funds of its user and they will do everything that was requested to them. I think the risks that you are talking about are about the security of your funds, however, if they are actually legit and they are permitted to run their business by their government means that the users do not need to worry about their safety, I guess?
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 18, 2020, 11:13:12 AM
CW claims to be Satoshi because he’s a crook, a fraudster out for his own financial gain & he will do or so anything to ensure he earns money. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him.

He’s a creep, the sooner he disappears into bankruptcy & or prison the better.
Well said, this is the only reason we can see and we all know that this is what he really after. He also want to be more popular so he can perform more fraudulent activity by trying to earn the trust of those people who believes in  him to be SN.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't this the best time for Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2020, 08:30:38 AM
It would be good but the time for bitcoin to become one of the payment option will probably come but not for today. There is already an existing process or options that people is using to do transactions online, I don't think that they will just suddenly start using bitcoin because of the said reason.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: April 18, 2020, 06:45:58 AM
The golden time has pass, we need to face the present while keep the hopes high a new altcoin season will come again.
Don't keep those 'high hopes' remain in you guys.
It should be let it happen if it will and just focus on the things that you do. I don't want to disappoint the others too but you are right, the best time for bounty was done.
If everyone keep thinking that the best time for bounty is over no one will be here right now, everyone would have left for other means but so far 2020 is way better than last year, 80% of bounties that come out this year are quality projects
Everyone would have left? I don't think so, this forum is one of the sources of information when it comes to cryptocurrency, this forum is not only alive because of bounty campaigns.

And how can you tell that about 80% of bounties that come out this year are quality projects? Are you really sure about that?
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: April 18, 2020, 06:12:40 AM
Right now, it is very difficult to find the right project because all of the projects seem to be the right one, but we never know if they are really the right project or not in the future. Sometimes we choose the project which we think that the project will succeed after it's finished and they can continue to the next phase, but the fact is they delay the project in the middle and disappear with the investor money. That is why we need to be extra careful to find the project and make sure you can accept what will happen in the future.
That's the hardest part of trusting a project, we don't know their real intention until they got the investment money in their hand. They will give promises and they will make their move for the progress and development of the project but they will show their true colors when it comes to money.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 17, 2020, 01:59:08 PM
From the current jump we have in the price of bitcoin, what I expect to happen is another jump. I am not expecting too much but it will probably bring a positive effect to bitcoin. But there is still this doubt that I have due to the pandemic that we are facing right now, I know it is not affected but investors around the world might have a hard time investing this time. It is possible that the price increase will be slower than expected.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero got listed yet to another exchange on: April 17, 2020, 06:17:19 AM
Monero is facing a lot of difficulties but it is still kicking and finding new exchange to be listed on. It got previously delisted in exchange but here it is, listed in a new exchange. There are really a lot of people who hated this coin and yet, its supporters are still there to believe in it.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has removed 49 cryptocurrency wallet browser extensions! Good move? on: April 16, 2020, 02:01:09 PM
The majority of user here would probably say that this is a good move, since there's a lot of users of browser extension, including those people who are unable to determine the extension if it is fake or not, then this move will actually a big help for everyone who uses chrome extension.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: April 16, 2020, 04:27:47 AM
Yes, that is why users of browser extensions should know how to identify the legit and fake extensions. As far as I remember, there is a case that was opened in this forum that he was a victim of clipboard malware, he formatted his personal computer and run his anti virus but nothing was found. However, he had so much browser extension and that may be the reason why he wasn't able to find the malware.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: April 16, 2020, 01:40:34 AM
I doubt that we can earn enough through airdrops because most of them is scam and the rewards is really small. So, the best way to earn more is to participate in bounties but we have to be very strict in finding one since scam projects is all around the corner.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received coins or tokens that you forgot that you promoted on: April 16, 2020, 01:11:42 AM
Of course, there's a lot of bounties I have participated before and their distribution process takes a lot of time, some of them took months or years, some are still on the process. So, everytime I see my wallet there are some coins that is new and unfamiliar. Most of them is already an inactive project or not even listed in the market, and the rest, their price is just trash.
