42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really that special to you what are you're expectations in bitcoin? on: October 24, 2016, 10:55:17 PM
For me, bitcoin is special because it help me to earn extra money, which i can use for buying some of my necessities. I may not earn big as much others are earning  but atleast i still do.  Anyway, what i expect in bitcoins is that, hopefully the price will increase constantly. In addition, i also expect that hopefully there will an information campaign here in my country - the Philippines. So that people will be more aware what bitcoin can bring in an individual's life.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: October 24, 2016, 01:28:10 PM
I agree most of the posts here. I believe that the creation of bitcoin is somewhat more focused on giving back to the people to control money without any government who interferes.  Without any taxes being imposed upon by the authories (well aside to those countries who really made its own regulations in using bitcoins. And most importantly, the creation of bitcoin made a lot of transactions fast and easy.

46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it take recieve Bitcoins? on: October 24, 2016, 02:46:05 AM
Transactions take time to confirm, as they are interweaved into the whole system. I've seen some transaction confirmations take place in as little as a minute, and some take a couple hours. Be patient, it will clear... its not instantaneous (the blessing and the curse of having this be a decentralized system where no one server, no one clearinghouse is in charge of everything, and every transaction can be confirmed by multiple stations.
47  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2016, 11:16:43 PM
Who among in the bitcoin community haven't lost such bitcoins, right? Well, everyone does! Try to recall when you are still a newbie in this business. I know, you just lost your bitcoins too since being a newbie, we are all excited to the fact that we can earn.

Just like me, i lost some of my bitcoin or satoshis when i was still a newbie to this community. I lost it through investment to scammed sites, lost in gambling specially on hi and low games. I wanted so hard to earn before, not thinking that instead of earning, im loosing all of my bitcoins.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: October 22, 2016, 02:43:26 PM
We all know that  owning bitcoins is so advantageous.  Unfortunately, these advantages has been fully abused by some.

Since bitcoin is known for its anonymity, people take advantage to it. People tend to use bitcoins for transactions of some illegal activities. For instance, purchasing or acquiring illegal drugs. Some may use bitcoins as mode of payment to hide its real identity because all you just need is a wallet to make transaction. No other personal informations.  That's the sad ang alarming part.

Hello there! Anyway, like most of the people who commented here, i haven't  bought my first bitcoin. (Actually its just a couple of satoshis.)

As i recalled, the first time i knew that through bitcoin i can earn, i actually started through faucets. Of course for a newbie, that is the easiest thing to do, right? And it is FREE! So from there, i gain fair enough then do some research and tried to invest to gain more..

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: October 21, 2016, 10:28:40 PM
It is definitely stealing. And ll of us know stealing vis ILLEGAL. no matter how small content of the address you have generated as long as you have cash out the money. In the part of the owner, it is so unfortunate for him to lose those address since it will be definitely hard to trace who is responsible for the illegal act.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: October 21, 2016, 10:47:07 AM
I don't really have a strategy that I use. I just buy some Bitcoins every now and then when the price has gone down to hold for the long term. That's all I do at the moment. I am not even trading. It's purely holding what I do. I am so happy with my Bitcoin investment that I never look into any other investment. Bitcoin is more than enough for me as I believe in its full future potential.
hello there. I can help but to notice your comment. Yes, i so agree with you, that bitcoin has its full future potential. Way back, we knew that bitcoin's price is just couple of cents perhaps. But now what? It's now on its 630+ USD! imagine how price of bitcoin have increased in just a couple of years. Although there are times it dicreases, but still price increased 10 times fold compare from the time it was introduced to the community. It is definitely a good way to invest.
54  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 20, 2016, 11:44:01 PM
We all know that most of the transactions in the bitcoin world is free of charge. Well there are some that requires you to pay a bit of amount like 0.2%. But not as much as the crefit or debit card requires. With this, if you will be ask, where would you prefer? Of course, you will prefer to lower fees or not having fees at all, right?  One must choose of where one thinks its beneficial.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet in bank? on: October 20, 2016, 10:32:16 PM
Do you think that one day you could open Bitcoin wallet in your bank, along with your.ordinary bank account? And will banks have their own wallets? Or maybe they already have? There are some rumors that some banks are preparing themselfes to addopt the Bitcoin and give it to their clients as a new service?

No. Bitcoin was designed to bring back the control of money back to the people. Why would you want to store your Bitcoins in a bank if for some weird reason they started to offer it for deposits. You are in effect giving them control of your money and they will start exploiting it by using your deposits and start offering "products" to businesses and borrowers.

I hope you get the whole point of Bitcoin and be on your way.
i agree with your  point. Yes, why would you want to store your bitcoins in a bank if you already has the control over it? Storing in a banks means giving them the right to take over and control of your money. plus of course, take note of the high transaction fees. Im prettyvsure if the banks will take control over it then they will probably impose high transaction fees. Who would ever want that to happen, right?
