What i do is always checking my coins in exchange, if its rising already or is it still the same. Also i usually checking my transaction result, if my coins sold yet or not  |

Back in the old days, the cryptocurrency is always fluctuating up and down.
So no mater how bad the condition today, i believe it will be back up again later.

With such regulation, that should be able to remove or at least minimizing the potential of any new scam project who just trying to steal investor's fund.
So each and everyone who wish to create a cryptocurrency project will be thinking twice when they wish to create a project that can be a scam.

A good quality project will give a good impact for the future of cryptocurrency, but any scam ICO will just making the cryptocurrency to fall into the slumber.
Those makes people loose their trust on cryptocurrency and end up leaving the cryptocurrency world.

If the bull run isn't coming this year, then i would wait for it next year, there will be a lot of time to wait for it to come.
Perhaps during the wait, i'll do something else while keeping an eye on the market.

I wrote this before, and am writing it here now. I would really like to advocate for institutions and VC money entering this space. Let me know your comments.
The fervour and bullishness of the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) of 2017 is long forgotten, and markets are maturing to a steady state. Regulations are becoming clearer, and talks of the Security Token Offering (STO) become common place. Where has the ICO gone? Simply put, its still there. Just not so ‘public’ and often anymore. Indeed, the velocity of token sales done in recent months are declining exponentially.
Private and/or institutional sales
It is well-documented that most ICOs today are sold largely (up to 95%) to private placements, consisting of institutions and High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs). These private offerings are completed with generous discounts before release to the public (no discount), or at times listing straight to a crypto exchange thereafter.
Equity and/or hybrid token offerings
As more VCs venture into this space, more traditional instruments of financing are being promoted- be it equity, convertible loans or token buy-back agreements. These instruments are important to ICO progress in two ways:
1. They bring about security to investments by holding the issuer/start-up accountable to the ICO.
2. They allow institutional investors a channel to buy into ICOs. Without which, most VCs do not have the authority or mandate to buy tokens.
The future of ICOs
Due to predominantly private, VC-driven ICOs, it is easy to mistake that the democratised, token-based ecosystem is regressing, or worse, ceasing to exist. ICOs today seem to model traditional fund-raising routes (which kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it?).
However, it is useful to consider that blockchain start-ups and projects are not at all like other start-ups due to the existence of a secondary market (crypto-exchanges)— a very large one in fact. This means that most projects will still have their cryptocurrencies distributed over a larger pool of users/customers/investors.
As the crypto industry and regulatory environment continues to evolve rapidly, the idea of more compliant, accountable and funded ICOs cannot be bad.
I like the way you think, with that vision it would be able to keep the live for ICO. Cause without anyone having that thought, that would really be the end of ICO. But i really hope that there will be something that could remove the possibilities of any SCAM that already spread so much lately. |

I was angered at a post I saw earlier, which I had just replied to before coming here. Someone on WAVES ANN thread said that WAVES is dead. This is soooo far from the truth. Let me tell you why! 1. Waves is literally a newborn on the scene, look how long it took bitcoin to get to where it's at. 2. There are over 21k tokens issued on WAVES blockchain. Ok sure most tokens are childs play, and not serious. But, there are some developers who will issue a token on WAVES platform (like myself) who will go all out to acquire press, influence marketing, etc... to make their token at least as successful as WAVES is. Once this happens WAVES will skyrocket! 3. WAVES really solved problems Bitcoin haven't solved, and even is solving problems Ethereum isn't. Waves has legit made crypto easy as using Paypal. This alone is major. WAVES is highly undervalued, and I am a a custom WAVES token issuer who is SERIOUS about the success of my token. I support the WAVES revolution. It's only a matter of time before other devs get as serious as I am, and have some successful tokens on WAVES platform. My advice is to get WAVES while it's cheap! It's a baby, that will grow and become as expensive as ETH. Heed my words, a lot of you missed out on BTC in 08-09, a lot of you missed getting Ripple when it was just $0.16 then went to $3. People were saying scam, not people have headaches as they could have been rich! I didn't catch BTC in the beginning, but XRP, and XLM i bought in at $0.16, and $0.08 respectively and sold at $3 and $0.75 respectively. I invested when everyone was yelling SCAM and I reaped the benefits. Don't miss out on WAVES. Even a week ago WAVES was at $1, now at $1.50. Just right there a serious investor could have made some serious money. Anyways, get WAVES while its cheap. I think to be able to help the market is by joining the group to put an investment in the market, and tried to avoid selling our coins in a cheap price.
I believe it would be able to stop the market from bleeding cause the price are falling previously.

In my opinion, you should observe the market condition before purchasing any coins.
See if there is any chance for the coins to increase fast or slow, that way you could decide if the coins able to be used as short or long term investment.

Indeed, the cryptocurrency is unpredictable, even everyone who were said to has a huge experience in cryptocurrency doesn't able to perfectly predict the market condition.
So, it will just like the title that you mentioned if we need to keep on observing and follow the trend, that would be the safest strategy in cryptocurrecy market.

If you look on how bad the market condition is, then you could be considered late, but if you see from the possibilities of the market condition then it can be the most perfect time to invest. There will be a big chance for increase when the market at a low price like today. |

I think this would take a long process to reach that, cause even someone who already had experience could get trapped into a scam without realizing it. So all i can say is that we need to be so much careful about any new project that appear in the market. |
