There are arrays of factors that determine how much a currency is worth. These include actual monetary flows (imports, exports) caused by changes
in GDP, inflation, unemployment, interest rates, budget and trade deficits or surpluses. All these macroeconomic conditions affect the value of a currency
because they regulate the demand and supply of the particular currency. If, for example, there is high inflation the demand for the particular currency
will drop as its purchasing power is eroded.this make the market unstable and because of the instability movement of the market is highly unpredictable.

Whenever you hold an asset, it can increase or decrease in value. When you trade the bitcoin for fiat currency, then you're trading an asset for dollars. It works the same way as when you trade gold bullion for dollars. Bartering or exchanging
bitcoins for anything is also a taxable event.

From my observation from bitcointalk, African are not really make it in bitcoin or other altcoin. I try to introduce bitcoin to my colleague but it seen their don't understand what am saying. Is it that we don't study or we underrate the potentials of bitcoin?
No. I know few forum members who are from African countries. So, not sure about your circumstances also due to high anonimity maintained by every member here in this forum hard to know who are all from which continent. Maybe you are right in percentage of users from Africa. my observations was based on local knowledge of bitcoin in my area. I find out that 90% of people from were I come from don't have knowledge on bitcoin, in fact their don't even believe that minig bitcoin is possible. Some of the people think bitcoin is another thing like PayPal or liberty deserve. |

In 2014, Central banks across the world simultaneously issued warning against the use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The warning stated that these cryptocurrencies are not backed by any central bank and the volatile nature of these digital currencies poses a risk for investments. In many places, even the banks and financial institutions were issued warning against dealing with digital assets like bitcoin.
Since then many countries have relaxed their stance towards bitcoin, except for few like Russia, China, Thailand and Vietnam. Bitcoin doesn’t enjoy any legal status and these governments’ ambiguous stance towards bitcoin makes it borderline illegal.

One problem is the price of bitcoin can be stable for weeks at a time in which case you can't make any money from trading. Then what happens is that the price of bitcoin moves suddenly, but you make nothing because you are asleep. So you do algo trading, and then you end up losing money because of bugs.

You ll earn pennies with jr. member and it simply is not worth of your time unless you live a very, very poor country. I d do my best to reach at least hero before I consider applying cause anything before that is good just as pocket money and not as any meaningful source of income. Even with legendary status, one can make what, $20 per week, unless you are a mindless low quality poster who spends day posting.
Make sure these campaigns re not created for you to make money but for companies to achieve advertising effects which means we need to post relevant and high quality posts and not just tons of garbage. After all this is a FORUM where people come to ask questions and exchange opinions and not make money on sig campaigns. Make sure you never forget that.
Private question to you @crazyiwan - do you think that scaring people and regime can helps to popularize bitcoin? Let this people ask questions, let them say what they want to say. This is a forum and everyone can say (almost) everything what he want .. it is about you also.  The task for more experienced users is to comment and help if someone need that. If someone will take our advice usefull, thats good, if will choose another way it is his decision. You can not say what people want to get or what they want to do. If someone will join sig campaign as Jr Member and will write good quality posts, where is problem? if I join signatures campaign as a junior member thus that hinder me not to grow to senior member?. From what I have learned from this forum everybody here or let said 80% of us in this forum join to either make money or leaned how to make money. I appreciate those that have proved solution to my problem, and also advice those who discouraged other that this a forum where we can share idea and not discouragement. |

Your mistake/s in trading that leads to loss of money
I think it will be the best to share your story so that we can avoid your past mistakes.
Yes mistakes can lose your money especialy in altcoins trading when buy a coin that can not rise up. So its bettet to check first the coins before you gonna buy to avoiding lost money. Many altcoins now are getting scam after a week they become dead and not rise up again. one thing that we should have in mind as a trader is that; mistake is part of learning. Trading currency is an emotional business and for you to succeed in it you have to develop you mind to the level were mistake is part of learning, if you can except this in your spirit then you are a good trader. |

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)
I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.
Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)
Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)
Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.
Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

A successful traders start as a newbies' but still there are different between professional and in experience or newbie. Professional trade based on the knowledge of technical and fundamentals knowledge of the market or currency, stocks and commodity their trading on. Newbies always think trading is what their can easily going into without learning the market behaviors, but when they bit they finger, than call currency trading scams. From experience, only expert can succeed in the market if you don't know that please no it from today. The money expert made from the market are what newbies lose in the market. So developed you knowledge on how the market work and become professional in it and you will become a successful trader

I have not trade with crypto currency before, I have being trading forex for the past eight years'. I thing trading currency like commodities have some similarities, such as buy low, sell high technical and fundamentals effect on the market and emotional effect. Because of this the movement of the market is not easily predictable, however if you want to succeed in crypto trading or forex and commodities you have to develop your skill, on technical and fundamentals analysis, money management and limit loss and take profit.

Trading forex more high risk than trading altcoins or bitcoins, because we can not hold position. Of course we can trade forex without analysis tecnical, but it will make our money lost in it. In my opinion trading forex needs analysis tecnical and fundamental for making prediction and making profit into trading forex.
I thought, forex trading and altcoin or bitcoin are the same?. Sir, can you explain to me the different between bitcoin or altcoin trading and forex trading. From my observations it's seen to be the same. |

Nigeria, were I come from; PayPal is not accepted, but bitcoin is a decentralize currency. Since I can use bitcoin from my country, I think bitcoin is hundred percent better than PayPal. With bitcoin, I can withdraw all my investment into my local banks account, but on like PayPal that my withdrawal is limited based on my country of residence. I advice that we should invest in this decentralized currency than those that are control by greeding individual.

For you to succeed in life, you must incurred some losses. Trading currency is a game of experts, professionals and thinkers. Professionals trader, trade with losses in mind know will that losses is the beauty of trade because the learned more in losses than in profits, so the professional learn from they losses and expanding their knowledge in trading and used what their have learned to make more profit in future or avoid bad trade. So my advice to every trade is- get used to losses and you will become a successful trader, for success laid at the other side of success.

Trading forex can be narrow than to two forces that drive a single vehicle. Most time after analysing the market technically and a trade is sure that market trend has hit the support or resistance level or breakout has taken place, the candlestick also has signal you to enter buy or sell then you see that the trade go against that signal due to news or fundamental issue. My question is this, can we really depend on technical analysis in trading decision?
technical analysis is like a help, a help that shows you the possible way but in the real world prices are affected by many factors that you can't consider them in your technical analysis. you have to add them yourself manually. But in my experience and observation, technical analysis will win at the end. The news and events just the triggers to make fluctuations in trading, but to predict how long a movement will last, we must need technical analysis. In simple words, a news may affect a market to go up or down. Technical analysis will tell you how many units of movement that news may produce. you have said it all from my experience and following trade history in meta trade4 I have observed that market fluctuate based on news and other important fundamental analysis. However, the market will always reconciled to technical analysis formation. |

Forex or currency trading is a good business or profession, if and only if we can remove emotions and trade with gut. From my experience I can testify that, just single technical indicator is enough for you to make $100 of thousands from the market but emotion is the problem. I have test Fibonacci, trend line and boligoband work most times perfectly in analyzing the market but just this problem called emotion!. How can we arrest this enemy of our trade call emotion? How can we remove emotion from my trade o God.

Forex or any other trading, is either trending, ranging or in channel at a time. If the market is trend up that is buying it mean those that are buying are more than those selling and vise versa. When buying equal selling it mean the market is at equilibrium. When the market is at equilibrium, that is were big trader and hangers make trading decision based on what happened at this point. Most at times the market, would start trending at this point or channels or even ranging. Breakouts occurs when the strong support or resistance are break at this point is were professional trader make money and the newbie gambling.
