You can buy gold. Best way to keep them safe is burying them to somewhere you can remember but others can not even think to dig. Like near your favorite tree in the village or next to a rock something like that. It works almost perfect for thousand years.

Is it possible to influence all this if you are robbed or have been cheated by you? I thought that if all the transactions that occur with Bitcoin are somewhat wrong, then you can dispose of your money. |

I'm going for St Etienne v Bordeaux. I think this will be a very balanced game, and I can't pick a winner here. Although I don't expect to many goals, I think it' quite possible that both teams score, so I will go for that.

Did anyone think at this? How would a bank work? How could you loan bitcoins and get interest for them in an economy with just 21 milion BTC limit?
Can you explain me why would we need bitcoin bank? Bitcoin is a digital currency and payment network, why would we pay someone to do easy things for us? I`m new in all this, but isn`t the point of bitcoin to be alternative to the current system? We don't need bitcoin bank, Remember the word of being your own bank. And it has given a lot of the meaning for us. We will never need bitcoin bank to keep or money especially crypto is in the grey area which will try to save your bitcoin on bitcoin bank is not a good decision. They can be turned as scammer anytime. Yes I`m aware of that, it`s something that I learned first about bitcoin and that`s why I was surprised when I saw this topic. I wanted explanation from the person that created this topic, I saw comments from people that support bitcoin bank idea, what I didn`t saw are valid arguments for that statment, and how that can be good for us users. Probably the guy who posted this topic, had the idea of that bitcoin is much likely compared to gold because people save it for a long time and wait for the price to go up, and people who have a good amount of money have to option to turn it into gold so it could grow passively, and the only way they can store it is in the vault banks, and I think that is where the bitcoin bank comes from. Well, I do not think that Bitcoin users will ever agree to Bitcoin banks. But why then change one to another we already have a banking activity for which people want to escape. If you create Bitcoin Bank to Bitcoin will lose all their advantages. |

Manipulation never comes to an end with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Depending on the market capital and the growth experienced the manipulation too happens. The bubble popping is just a outcome and these days the hands of China alone have got down in the price manipulation.
dude this topic is old and someone just bumped it up as a fun thing to laugh at the starter of this topic which is a known troll who is repeating the same thing as price drops. if you read what he is saying you see he is calling the drop down to $300  meanwhile price is testing $1400 resistance. Topic is about four months old... but still, the subject matter is now as up to date as it was then. I must agree that there might be a bubble blowing up, but I don't agree with the 99% hypothesis. And I am sure that during the last months, the diversification of bitcoin has grown and not concentrated amongst a few people even further. That is one thing that gives me hope why the actual high in price won't lead to a too harsh bounce back. It looks like this could be a bubble. The price keeps going up so there's got to be a correction at some point. Bitcoin is not such kind of project that was created to make bosses of the project rich and disappear in a moment. Bitcoin is digital gold and I think bitcoin waits the same future as gold as we know it. The price will be growing and in some moment the grow will get slower and bitcoin will jump around some price which will be counted like the medium price. If you look at the statistics of the rise and fall of prices, you can always trace them and their regularity. You can definitely suspect manipulation and fraud. |

This ain't cloud mining, they were selling ASIC mining machines very much like what bitmain does, I suppose their days must pass somehow either it's cloud mining, investment opportunities, double your bitcoins in 100 hours, double script, deposit 0.5 BTC and play with 1 BTC etc etc etc. anyone blindly accepting such claims and offers seriously and think they're legit is equally stupid and to blame. I also blame bitmain because of their recent scandals they have basically opened up doors for thieves and scammers as wide as Ver's big backdoor BU being the mother of all bugs and exploits. If little Wu wouldn't have screwed the community these scums would never had any chance to even compete with the well known and long established manufacturers. BTW, those so called foxminers are not similar to zeus miners they are the same with only a hole being the difference between them  . If you look at all the information of reality in its entirety, Everything can be much simpler and Careless. Well, if there really is a lot of money running around, it's very difficult and difficult to resist fraud. |

Seems many people here didn't really understand what the Bitfinex BCC/BCU game is about. If you put your bitcoins there you will get the same amount of BCC plus the same amount of BCU. You can then immediately sell all those BCU for BTC, right now the price is 18%, and withdraw them. You will have to keep all your BCC there and on December 31 you will get your bitcoins back for them, 1:1. So you get all your bitcoins back plus an extra 18%. And this is regardless whether the fork will or will not happen.
So are you telling that they are using to fund their site in the event of the hack by providing another token,it is not a fair process and is there anything in the terms of service that says that if and when the exchange looses money they will compensate by providing an alternative,what ever it is i am not a fan of the exchange. If bitcoin is the only source of income, it means that the exchange for today is the only way out. And this is because life requires real money. |

Not all but I have invested 50% of my total funds in bitcoin as I think it has a great ability to rise in future which can give me 100% return on my investments which may not be possible with any other form of investments.
What is the price of bitcoin when you invested 50% of your fund? For sure you are able to make it double already or even I'm thinking that you are able to make higher right now. As the price is pumping you should be getting more than 100%, and there are a lot of people here that are getting higher percentage of their profit. He started investing in bitcoin in may 2 and i think it is not enough for him to gain 200% of his capital because bitcoin is just starting to go up, If the price of bitcoin reach up to $2,000 then he can easily double his money and or even tripled it if he continue to hold bitcoin for long term. How did you knew it ?what year in May 2 be specific. Well if he already doubled it or triple his profit with just staking on wallet it is good but it is much better to spend some of that profit to an investments to make it more grow. I agree with you completely, if, of course, there is a correct investment option. If a person knows where the best is alice money, then you can invest in full. |

I brought up my kids using the computer. Since age 5. I always had them playing educational games but as they got older they found the internet and video games. I don't monitor them and allow them freedom to do what they want on their computers. So far they have all turned out fine. They are in University or College and all of them have jobs. No psychotic events from my kids.
You are very fortunate that the children did not find anything wrong with the Internet and developed normally. But for safety, you need to control children. Do you understand that children not only have access to the Internet and other dangerous things at home? How can they be protected from the fact that it can greatly harm their psyche and the perception of the world? Of course, they can not be protected, but we must try to protect at least from bad information in the media and explain what is good or bad. |

Again, when Jesus rose from the dead and spent another 40 days walking around in Galilee before ascending to the Father (also witnessed by onlookers) where were the scoffers then?
