Obviously NEO is very good effective & potential coin I think & this coin is very right choice for long term investment.You can add Ethereum in your investment list I hope this coin is very profitable.
NEO is a good coin indeed and will be a good investment for the future but it will need to surpass Ethereum first, Vitalik Buterin is a smart guy and is a huge leader in cryptocurrencies and blockchain as a whole, I think Ethereum for the long term will allways be more succesfull than NEO, although I hit my money on the other altcoins which need to get their true value, I am a huge fan of vertcoin cause it will be more worth than Litecoin in the future, Litecoin seems to be stuck on its current price. |

Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash are not serious threats for Bitcoin and I don't believe they will have any significant effect on the long term on the echo-system. However, forks have the advantage of forcing open debates around serious issues.
That is very true, we saw what happened to bitcoin cash, it wasnt taken seriously and after bitcoin gold it will also be considered as a shit coin, bitcoin gold will also be useless just like bcc, if all these forks keep coming because people want more money and power bitcoin will only rise, these forks should stop immediately because they have no value and bitcoin will be number one. |

Not really. It just takes some critical analysis and research. It's not that hard to tell which projects are just bullshit and which aren't. If you can't tell and don't understand the project, don't invest. That way you can't really lose. I agree with this one, I have invested in a handfull of icos and nowadays you have to be picky where to invest your money in, there are so many projects that it should make you think rational where to invest in, being critical on icos is a good thing as it is that icos need to be regulated, once blockchain and cryptocurrencies are accepted worldwide I think the best projects will succeed and most will fail. |

The trick now is to find which ones have a potential future and which ones don't, as you are right in 5 years a lot of these so called "alts" won't survive, or still be worth pennies if they do. Of course I think a lot of people actually do realize this truth and are just playing musical chairs taking advantage of the profits offered by the pump and dump nature of these coins. Just don't be the one left holding the bag when the music stops. I totally agree on this one, when btc is dumping they are also dumping, that is nonsense and it shouldn't happen, if it will stay this way it will be ugly for the future of cryptocurrencies, if bitcoin is dumping the altcoins should move their own way and I hope this will happen in the future, there are alot of good alts with great projects so they are not all scammy, once they will break trough and be used in world purposes I hope they will lead their own way and eventually it will happen because the market now with dipping and depending on btc is shitty. |

They had a partnership with XLM Stellar Lumens indeed, IBM was the reason for the high ''pump'' as we speak, they have made the announcement at Sibos 2017 about the partnership and that was the reason for the pump, it almost pumped 2 times, a day after the other but unfortunately it wasnt pumped high enough, hence people retreated, and the price fell back down, the total coin supply is too much for a good price up, if IBM would buy the whole project for 2 times the marketcap we could see some serious pumps.

all of these scam ico's have tens and hundreds of millions dollar but they can't push out anything. it is not about money and advertising hype in crypto world like most these scam coin or token platforms are doing right now. it's all about team and ability to code.
so, the good coders are already find or have their own place. all the new scams popping up will be pushing out nothing but take your hard earn Bitcoin. their hype scam promises should be worth nothing. take my word for it.
I partially agree with you, there are tens of thousands of nonsense projects and coins indeed, and they are not booking any progress, however there are a lot of good projects around with a great team and a great community, they are working hard to get their projects working I am involved in great projects and follow them each day, think about Tenx/Pay, OMG, QTUM and Waves, in a few years they will be very succesfull. |

Gulden will always play second fiddle to something. I can't see it replacing BTC, not even in the Netherlands, and when European regulation will be made I don't believe it will favor Gulden.
I would agree but PoW2 changes this, it gives Gulden secure 1 conf transactions and people can earn interest on their coins by being a witness. The telegram group is getting frustrated with the delay in PoW2 not because of how long it's taking but because they know what a huge moment it will be for Gulden. The other concern is that some other coin comes up with the same idea as Gulden as the whitepaper has been out for awhile and Gulden will move to second fiddle. The choice is simple, release PoW2 with some bugs but be first or release a bug free version but not be first. The SegSig decision could be bad if it's the reason the release is being delayed. SegSig is good for long term because it will keep the blockchain 58% smaller and allow ordinary people to participate longer as a node then compared to bitcoin and eth whos blockchains are already exceptionally large and out of reach from users with limited storage space. It is a good coin, it is originated in Holland also known as the Netherlands, gulden is now accepted over more places and many are yet to come, Dutch people love gulden because before the whole euro money gulden was the most trustfull and reliable fiat here in the Netherlands, back in the days you could buy a full cart of groceries with gulden, the euro however made it worse, it is more expensive and you can buy less stuff with it, I hope gulden is accepted in the whole country and brings a lot of memories back when all people loved gulden. |

Ofcourse they have, they have more to offer than bitcoin does, bitcoin will remain the king of cryptocurrencies and have opened many doors for altcoins and good projects, but altcoins are gonna survive, look at all the amazing partnerships being made every week, imagine if these partnerships are growing globally at a fast pace, the good altcoins have a great future, governments and other scammers would benefit greatly by using blockchain, they would be stupid not to.

Yes it is! Especially now that the market is very volatile and there were lots of price downs recently. Always buy coins when the price is down and everyone is in panic. You will surely get huge profit when everything are back to normal. I bought a coin last month and now I have 150% income from it. If I sell it a few weeks ago and I became impatient, maybe I will not have that kind of gain from it. Patient is the key to altcoin trading.
True, the market is very volatile and you can for sure make some good money trading altcoins, they usually have a standard price amount and will drop time by time, if you anticipate good and look for news you should always get some good profits, I recommend investing in good altcoins though and not the shitcoins since they are truly used for pump and dumps. If you are a more experienced trader you can also trade bitcoin but I would not trade it if you have less than 4 bitcoin because the profits less will suck hard. |

1. Buy bitcoin. 100% bitcoin and nothing else.
2. Don't trust anyone telling you to buy something else. If you want to invest in alts you have to do your own research.
You will miss some great oppurtunities when not investing in alts. Projects that will outperform bitcoin short term. But the chance that you buy into some scam is much greater.
It is not only bitcoin to invest in, there are many great projects around that have the potential to be very big just like bitcoin in the future, if all these forks for people who want more money and power keeps coming I dont know about bitcoin, the altcoins at this stage can give you definitely higher returns, although bitcoin in the future will only rise up, I think eventually Amazon will start using bitcoin as a payment method. |

I agree but remember that your neighbours rich is not the richness of yourself, maybe someone who invests 2k will be happy with 100k and call himself rich, take it from me, I would call myself rich if I manage to multiply my investment in that amount, not all of us will be super rich thats true, the real people who went rich are those who allready dived in bitcoin a few years back.
I believe we can multiply our investment very nicely but we wont be super rich anymore as that era is now over.

ETH is going up right now also! Every ALT that has dropped by %50-%100 and has a good developement and future is good to invest now  Ethereum is up right now that is very true, but I dont think Ethereum will be much and much higher on short/midterm,other altcoins have dropped badly and will give good returns, altough I dont agree with them dropping 100%, unless you are talking about the ''shit''coins, the good coins like OMG,ADX,WAVES etc. have dropped max like 30% and I dont even think they will be on their right prices before the 25th of october, people are waiting for the chunks of bitcoingold and will still invest in bitcoin more, after the 25th it should be altcoin time! |

Just hold BTC and ETH for the long term > 3 years and alter coins for the short term. I like OMG, but I think it's something for a year, as this is the one to go with the next stage of Ethereum/Plasma rollout. But Ethereum will move on, new products will come up and new coins will come too. Eventually value are added to the main chain, which is ethererum for smart contract and BTC for value storage.
I agree on holding bitcoin and ethereum for the very long term, specially ethereum, but eventually surely bitcoin will pay high returns of initial investment, for short to midterm, altcoins are the best coins to invest in, exactly OMG is a very good coin, it is accepted now by mcDonalds in Thailand, imagine if it accepted by more and more mcdonalds restaurants, that will be huge, my favourites are ADX,VTC,OMG, and last but not least, WAVES. |

That is very true, also I dont think fiat will be gone complete, people have always trusted and will always trust something they can hold on and something that is physical, that is why gold has always remained valuable, if something replaces fiat it will certainly not mean bitcoin since the government doesnt want people outside the government to be rich, they will use their own little dirty system, so speaking of that let fiat just stay and let it live with bitcoin as a digital payment, it will do all good. |

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?
Both, is profitable and depends on your capital amount to trade ,Somehow, day trading is more hard to do if you have no good skills on it it it a very risky game ,you are like trading of war which in any moment it can dump hard or pump hard . Long term holding is a sure profit if you invested in a Altcoin that have a big potential in the next months or years. On long term it proves that holding or hodling the coins are always the best option and specially if you are not an experienced trader I would highly recommend to hold for a couple of years and get some happines if you look at your investments, day trading however is also very profitable and can be very nice, but you have to do some research and always remember to invest in real projects and not shitcoins. |
