when you say unlocked you mean unencrypted? my wallet is not encrypted if thats what you mean..
do coins have to be in main account or can they be in any account in wallet?

Question on staking.... How is it done? ive coins in a wallet for around 45 days and still no stake. i thought i had set it to staking but must be something else to be done?

Hi sirazimuth. I understand your concerns. The whole thing started out as an experiment. And when done I thought it worked too well just to let it lay on my hard drive doing nothing. Yes I could have picked any coin. I believe tek can make a comeback if given a chance. That's all I'm doing. If I was out to fraud or scam I'd have picked a coin with some value behind it. But of course I totally agree with you, im sure the first few people to put hard earned cash into bitcoin would have been sceptical.

Awesome! Well done. Now I was hoping to buy a camera drone with my TEK, but that's not (yet) available.  Looking forward to see more items soon. Yeah its being a little slow. Site has had a few thousand hits since I posted here but no joiners so far. Hopefully people will start joining and adding items soon |

Would there be any interest in an auction site that uses TEK?
as i have made one, started out as just an experiment but has turned out too good to toss to the side,
if there would be enough interest i would host it.
Something like this might save the coin.
one question is it normal for the wallet to round to 6 decimal places? its one issue i havn't got around.

If people put 20% of the effort they use changing numbers in source code and releasing new version every month into actually finding tangible goods and services that can used with the coin they will have a stable price.
You can change all the magic numbers you want, but if the coin cant be used for anything but trading its simply a novelty that will wear thin as the new coin of the week is released.
Find a use for TEK, then the price will rise on its own, without needing to be pumped or babysitted.

As some of you may have seen on other threads here i have been contemplating hosting a tekcoin based auction site that i had developed. Well i did decide to host, hopefully this will help the coin and maybe even raise its value. If it goes well future plans may include adding a fourm? adding a lottery? adding tek to paypal exchange? maybe casino type thing? mining pool? TEK is a great coin, one of the few really interesting PoS coins. The dev had his stake wiped out when cryptsy went under, so lately it's been struggling, but there's plenty of loyal TEK holders who would love to see it come back. It's got a lot of respect from long term stakers, so the auction site should get some interest. Couldnt have put it better myself |
