Please please please fix the warmup on RX470-480-570-580 8gb series... still having really bad speeds with b6. Only one out of 3-4 cards make it to full speed.

Please adjust the starting difficulty to at least 1000 for lyra2v2 ASICs (z1, z1+)....and max difficulty at 5000. Below and above this it disconnects like crazy.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 24, 2018, 05:42:00 PM
Has anyone tried the 1015 one? Seems that overclocking doesn't work on it. Maybe because there's only a stable version out?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 23, 2018, 09:46:13 PM
It is EVERYWHERE...
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 23, 2018, 10:24:36 AM
What happens if you do them before?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 22, 2018, 01:11:00 PM
To me, it doesn't seem like the profitability is coming back up because a new ASIC model being tested has been turned off, it's just GPU miners leaving lyra2rev2 coins.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 16, 2018, 05:58:47 PM
Shouldn't this miner restart if a hashboard stops working? I randomly get this, and using any frequency above 800 makes this happen, and auto restart miner is set at 5ghz, but it doesn't restart it. I am on 926 firmware, what is wrong?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 11, 2018, 07:36:16 PM
If that is for Z1+ and Z1+ and Z1 should be the same, then why 900mhz is still max and considered an overclock? Just look inside the files. To get 7.2, they probably need to OC to 950mhz, or, it is a different design.

Guys, I got a refund for 3 BCUs with 2y hosting and VAT included, a bit delayed but got it. Just wait.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, now with GPU! on: October 06, 2018, 02:38:33 PM
I've got a problem with the warm-up on my RX580s, not all cards in a sistem end up at full optimal speed after the warmup on heavy/haven/saber. This happens even if I have gpu-z in the background (which adds another 15h/s per card fluctuation after the warmup). I am on "p" version right now, on "n" version I thought it did much better, but wanted to use refined watchdog and get a small boost in mining speed with the latest version. What am I doing wrong?
I use 976 intensity, happens with lower intensity too. If I turn off a card that has optimal speed after warmup, and turn it back on, it has 15% less speed and doesn't get back up to optimal. Something needs to be reworked in the handling of the warmup, I also see a VRAM cluttering, an 8gb cards ends up showing it has 11gb of vram used in gpu-z (maybe bug?). Maybe we need some way to flush the vram and this is what's causing it, especially for those that restart the miner quite often (automatic profit switchers).
What system and drivers you're use? On Windows 10 and latest drivers max intensity on heavy is 944. Even 960 gives significant drop in speed. So as launched GPU-Z... It didn't add speed, but it can decrease it...

I am on Win10 1709 + blockchain beta drivers.

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.6 - with algo switching support on: August 14, 2018, 10:43:58 AM
Something is wrong, when trying to force haven (only adding this algo to algos.txt) it says it cannot login the user to the pool (using monero ocean + enablealgoswitching parameter). With bittube and v7 it works fine. I see haven listed on their website, so why is it not working?

you are using your Monero wallet for login, not haven, right ?

Exactly. Since the payment are done in XMR, I figured it would be the right thing to do. Also, for bittube it works just fine. Also wrote to moneroocean team on discord and you replied, but that solution is already applied from the beginning.

L.E. Nevermind, it works now, it seems that it must first start in normalv7, then pool will request the most profitable coin, and it was able to switch to haven.

V1.6.6

+ DevFee mining is not displayed anymore to the user. The first devfee isn't mined in the first 5 minutes, so if you want to kill / restart the miner, set your scripts to do it before 5 minutes.
Also if using a custom algo switching software (that restarts the miner) , you are using the miner in normal mode (not algo switching mode), so the devfee is not tracked across switches.

NICE. OR ALL USE THIS:

DEVFEE = 0

Ver 1.6.4

Start.bat

start coin.bat
timeout 6970
taskkill SRBMiner-CN.exe
start start.bat

OR:
Start.bat

start "coin.bat"
timeout 6970
taskkill /F /IM "SRBMiner-CN.exe"
start "start.bat"

Dude, just GTFO already...
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.5 on: August 07, 2018, 12:30:18 PM
I have a request, I know there have been discussions recently, but I am one of those that use profit switchers, and I would like you to kindly make your devfee mine more often and for less seconds to keep at the same level. Hell, I could even be glad with 1% devfee. Right now I am using a cooldown of 2h on my profitswitcher so it doesn't mine devfee for every miner restart and reach 5%+ devfee, but I am missing opportunities to mine the most profitable coin (in 2h, difficulty adjusts). Please, please make it something like every 30 minutes at least (it can mine the first devfee in the first 15 minutes, like it is now). I couldn't care less if you make it not show in the screen...I know you're fair and trustworthy, but please take my feedback into consideration.

How often (approx.) does your profit switcher restarts miner ? 5, 10, 15, 60 min?
Have you guys heard about Monero Ocean pools?

You use your XMR address as login, but the pool switches to the most profitable algos, so you can mine the most profitable algo/coin, but you are payed in XMR.

I integrated everything and it is working, so if i decide so, SRB could support Monero Ocean algo switching in next version.
Two problems at the moment : miner has to restart when changing algo (ATM it can't change algo on the fly), the devfee mining.

It can switch algos every 5 minutes, but sometimes does not switch for hours, depending what is the most profitable to mine at that moment.
I just have to think of a way to get the devfee, but at the same time not force the user to pay a lot more fee (like when you restart the miner every 20 minutes, right ? Smiley)

Well if you could make the devfee work seamlessly with monero ocean switching, I am pretty sure it will work with dedicated switching software too. I prefer the software because it gives me more control, and fine tuning. Already asked for some killer features from the switching software developer. Also, this software works exactly as monero ocean, it doesn't kill the miner if what you're mining is STILL the most profitable algo after a certain interval has passed Smiley so it can work for days and not switch. But because the fee is set to start every 2h, I have to set the cooldown of the switching to something similar and that kills profits Sad
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.5 on: August 07, 2018, 11:33:42 AM
Guys... if you don't like the way the dev fee works move to some other miner.
Dok just ignore everyone complaining about the dev fee.

DEVFEE = 0

Ver 1.6.4

Start.bat

start coin.bat
timeout 6980
taskkill SRBMiner-CN.exe

OR:

start "coin.bat"
timeout 6980
taskkill /F /IM "SRBMiner-CN.exe"

restart same time as devfee

restart then come here and complain how unstable and slow is the miner, and demand bug corrections etc.
Don't be surprised if in next versions you won't see when is the fee mined Wink

Don't listen to them, killing the miner and restarting it will only create less profit for the user so if anyone is stupid enough to do it, they are killing their own profits.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cryptonight Profit Switcher: For pool mined coins and NiceHash on: August 07, 2018, 09:15:14 AM
Also I have some really useful feature requests and bugfixes for the next version:
- correct config_bittube.txt to have algo "bittubev2", not "ipbc", that doesn't work anymore since earlier versions of SRBMiner
- add ability to set a threshold for changing the coin, like, if profit difference >5% (this should be editable), switch coin, not just immediately when it sees a 0.01$/day difference. Also a 2nd option to ignore cooldown time if profit difference more than 10% (also editable), but separate from the first one. Also the ability to disable these 2 options, maybe not everybody wants this level of fine tuning.
- SRBMiner extra arguments work if you only set 1 argument. For 2 or more, it force closes.
- the watchdog doesn't really work in some cases, for example if the miner gets stuck and doesn't show speed at startup, the profitswitcher gets confused too. This was a problem in 3.5, seems 4.5 doesn't do it.
- for some reason, if it cannot get profit data for one coin and one provider (the other providers work), it restarts for several times until it actually works. This can be worked around by overriding the coin to not get profit data from that particular provider.
- need support for backup pool for each coin (or at least if pool doesn't work, switch to 2nd highest profitable coin to mine)
- add some feature in the watchdog to restart miner if the miner force closes. It just gets stuck at this point.
- Support for JCE miner would be good too, have link above this post (but this is really not a priority).

I will keep editing this post with whatever new bugs I discover/features I see useful.

solve trouble with variable rate rx 560 4 gb card on heavy

12 gpu rig work with 4 gb ram and 60 gb swap. rig work but with variable rate
change swap to 90 gb and rate stable high

Anyone else tried this?

Can you add JCE miner support? It gain good momentum among the forum members:
