221  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cheap SSL Certificate from $3.98/year on: March 17, 2014, 11:19:06 PM
anyways have anyone bought the SSL from OP lately if yes please post in the thread. Thanks Smiley

As I told before I bought a cert yesterday. Took about 40 minutes until the payment was confirmed (guess 6 confirmations?) and another 10-15 minutes to send my CSR, verifying my e-mail and receive the certificate. Works fine with Firefox, Chrome + IE8 (didn't test others).

226  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ponzi Blocker on: March 14, 2014, 12:51:43 AM
Uh, if one finds a thread with "ponzi" in the title could not one simply exercise the personal responsibility to not look at it?

I would not mind if it was one or two threads (quite the contrary I found the first ponzis interesting and even tried one) but this "hey look, here is yet another fancy ponzi" flooding last days was way too much for me - and I have to look at them cause I want to read the other threads. So it's not about responsibility, it's about freedom to ignore things I'm absolutely not interested in.

@Kyraishi: great Smiley let us know how to do that. Is it firefox?

@roslinpl: haha. indeed. trolling ponzi owners sounds amusing
228  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ponzi Blocker on: March 13, 2014, 08:03:26 PM
Nic . But anyway to block it android and ios?

Don't know. I'd say there is no simple+secure way.
229  Economy / Gambling / Ponzi Blocker on: March 13, 2014, 07:48:44 PM
Here is a little script to automatically hide all the threads containing "ponzi" in the title.

- It needs the greasemonkey add on (firefox, don't know if available for other browsers though), if you don't have it yet install here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/

- If you want to follow this thread, bookmark it now cause you will not find it listed again as it also contains "ponzi" in the title and will be hidden Smiley

- After that install this userscript by clicking this link (or if you don't trust, here is the source to install manually):

230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably fair vs. Live Dealers on: March 13, 2014, 07:59:35 AM
Maybe a open source/3rd party browser plugin automatically setting the client seed and verifying the results would be handy for players. Casinos could implement a standard API to be compatible with it.

About live dealers and auto shufflers: I've once seen a card trick player (he was working as a consultant for casinos) in real live, he was so skillful I have absolutely no idea how he managed to get four aces _every_ time after I shuffeled the deck on my own. And I've seen david copperfield on TV...  Grin No: I definitively don't believe in what I see on a live cam.

Deposited €20 (+€20 bonus), went down to €10 and I'm now up at €104.38 and it says "You do not have any cash available to withdraw."
This is bonus account thing is really annoying  Angry How much do I have to wager to release my winnings?

Therefore he can't create a seed that will give you unlucky numbers for your particular betting strategy.

Even if he could, cheating that way would not be very wise cause as soon as someone would find out the unfair pattern he could abuse it for his own profit.

236  Economy / Gambling / Satoshi-Karoshi Multiplayer Roulette on: January 22, 2014, 08:45:23 PM
We have just launched our new roulette table. Every player is betting on the same number which is rolled about once a minute and generated in a provable fair way (hash of incrementing gameID and a secret, details here). You can see other players bets and there is also a troll chatbox Smiley

These automated promotions don't work well. Seems like some few people catch all of it by signing up repeatedly.

So here is the deal: post your satoshi-karoshi username or user-id here to get a giveaway.
