Well, now I know there is nothing wrong with my wallet....I just boughtsome Bitcoin and sent to my electrum wallet in less than an hour.
BEST-BTC.com has not answered emails.
Should I start a thread with names and links to this scam?

Socks45... I did not want to say anything about the company until I give them time. However the name is up there, and I will PM you.
(Yes others need to know if they are just taking money and NOT delivering....if so, I doubt I am their first "customer")

Have faith.
To me ( a very first timer) all the companies, dealers, ect... so far are confusing and often self contradictory.... it ALL smells fishy, to me. Companies like localbitcoin you advise, I think are the worst. I dunno
Its hard for me

I made my first purchase of bit from internet vendor. I gave an address from my electrum 2.7.12 wallet. Question: Is that all I have to do? No other inputs? .....What other inputs?
It has been 2 days. The company says this amount of time might be required for new customers on the website. But just to be sure on my end I ask here: Have I done all that needs doing? I have left my send (receive) address from electrum with the seller. My paysite account says "payment accepted by so-n-so" (but my balance has not changed yet)
Uh yea, I guess that it. Those questions. Am I being paranoid, or did I forget something?

I just learned that I might get "20,00" satoshi next monday. That is not a misprint on my part - 20,00.
I would like to suggest to the moderators that it would be a good idea to allow beginners an area to "beg" each other, and to practice a transaction or two....not have such posts moved from the beginners forum to the meta.

I understood what you meant . I was merely acknowledging that.
Supposedly I am getting bitcoin for reading a book. I dont know how that works, a Great Society Program for the virtually underprivileged, I suppose

To start with, please use faucets available throughout the internet.
Okay, I am now reading a book for bitcoin. I thought faucets were something to avoid. Did not realize that was where to begin. I just want practice before I buy bit coin.

yea, I looked at my post history and it only showed 1, no messages....I hope this is not a bad omen for my "virtual " future...things disappearing

The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.
I found that when opening thread from computer history
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
as I recall, I jokingly made it sound like begging. The tread title "buddy can you spare a dime" I thought funny because I am really begging for help getting started with this.

Might have appeared spam, but I dont think so... it was like this:
I am new to btc. Just now learning.I have a wallet and have been studying
Is it cool to ask someone here to send me 10 cents worth BTC. I will send it back. What are fees for that? If its like several dollars, then nevermind.
Is it safe to show a "receive address" on a forum like this?
Any constructive comments are welcome.

I am also totlly ignorant, but I heard that India will be or has banned bit coin ....because of currency problem there. Look it up.
