MY PSU Please help me 1. Make sure psu 450w and above for rates 80 plus bronze.
2. Uninstall catalyst and delete all existing drivers and re install
3. Undervolt the card
4. Worse case revisit your ROM and see if you have flash correct and if all fails reflash to original
5. Turn all pci to X1 AGP

what can this be?
Added to OP: - Temperature/fan management for RX 480 is not supported currently. 480 card uses Overdrive v7, latest ADK SDK (v9) supports Overdrive v6, so currently AMD has no public documents about Overdrive v7 and therefore there is no way to manage temperature/fans/clocks of 480 cards. I see, I noticed with this cards the miner does not show the temperatures and fan percentage, this is the reason then. Thanks. |

im have a psu of 500w but im turn on a second psu and put thw second video card in this psu! and the problem persists im not using overclock what is undervolt the card? Try win10 (must purchase it)
Or win 8 (I already have a DVD but never tried mining with it)
Or is there some story where it could work in Win7?

Anybody have tutorial to run rig with sapphire rx470 with linux ? Thanks, is this safe to use if dual mining? Overclocking before modding I'm able to get around 26-27MH ETH and 400-480 on SIA or 25MH eth and 580 SIA What volts and speeds you use? |

Because overdrive is AMD auto-clock / fan management so if claymore use the one present on your system it may be too old or too recent to be claymore compatible. what command do you use to launch claymore ? Any gpu oc or temp managment in the cmdline ? You should try to completely replace current PSU with the spare one you tested before to check if main PSU isn't in trouble Try also with only 1x GPU to see if the stability is better |

Okay, but the psu that is weak or is it in trouble? USB riser cables consume less power than the directly connected card in the 16x PCI express slot? My bet would be the PSU

This is something I do not understand. A video card of that consumes at most 130w. Two are 260w. So why does not a 500w source support it? If I have to buy source I'll buy soon 1000 or 1200w. Because I'm going to use 6 plates soon. Which modular font do you recommend in this range? Thanks Almir Now if you go at the link that you provided, you will see that for a single GPU it's recommended a 500 W PSU. Normally a Radeon Rx 470 should need ~ 150 W maximum. So for 2 x GPU you need ~300 W maximum. CPU 50W. Do you have something elso that uses power? Because I had the same issue and the problem was PSU. |
