Do 2GB GPU's still work with eth mining?

My 2GB radeon r9 270 do not work with eth mining. I'm continuing mining with my 280x GPUS. Using 270 for zec mining for now.

Ok, how profitable is ZEC compared to eth?

it's not so profitable for now. I'm mining eth (or etc) with my three radeon 280x (total 45MH/s) and mining zec with my 270 just for not let it sit iddle.

must be kidding right ?

when i mine  with 5X RX470 cards  ETC+LBC i am getting

etc 120 lbc 170

why speed of etc too much down in LBC mining?

For old cards, it is better for mining the ZEC than the ETH. But the profitability is quite low now especially if you pay for electricity.

Remember not all miners mine to sell their coins right away. There are people who have the money/resources to mine and hold expecting long term profitability to be better. I know people who have mined ETH for a year and have yet to sell any of their coins.

and two sapphiore RX470 OC of 4gb
im using windows 10

with one cards all works fine
im put  the 2nd video card
all is ok
the pc recognize the 2 video cards

im already remove antivirus and windows defender

And when starting the claymore's the pc shutdown

what im need to do ?

im need to active the crossfire?

This is something else, but I keep getting this unsupported overdrive version error messages in the log with 3x 480x, they are mining nicely tho, it's just annoying,
what can this be?

Added to OP:

- Temperature/fan management for RX 480 is not supported currently. 480 card uses Overdrive v7, latest ADK SDK (v9) supports Overdrive v6, so currently AMD has no public documents about Overdrive v7 and therefore there is no way to manage temperature/fans/clocks of 480 cards.

I see, I noticed with this cards the miner does not show the temperatures and fan percentage, this is the reason then. Thanks.

I have a friend like this, he is holding lots of eth, in a hope that it will get to 20$. Now he had the chance to sell them at 15$, but no, i think he was just too greedy. Now his ethers worth 50% less...

am i really the only one that doesnt really care about the dev fee?? I have a MBA,if you invest in something i tell you too,damn right im taking a percentage and not a 1 time fee(take that also). Simple business model. claymore,if you ever need a business advisor please write me. but nothing in life is free .there are only 2 things you can 100% depend on in life, death and taxes.

Lol, if you think that legally modifying something is stealing than you better turn yourself in really quickly. Also, by your logic, considering how you would get more from my mod than the original miner, you would ditch claymore's just to use mine. The fact that you said you use piratebay when no one ever suggested that you did, means that you have a complex that you need to deal with. You're the one that makes me sick. Go get help.

Write your own code, put your name on it then sell it, but using some one else's name on his own post is really not a good way to start anything, just my 2 cents.
In the readme file there is a statement, if you don't like it don't use it, I love it.

I read that same statement. And my mod doesn't bundle his miner in it at all. I'm not forcing anyone. Just giving an option.

nah, the word "tax" has bad connotations. "fee" is better, imo.

and claymore is entitled to whatever fee he sets. we dont like it, we write or find another LEGIT miner (as opposed to that lazy snots ripoff).

Maybe because LBC algo is more intensive than DCR and SIA... Try adjusting intensity.

Any ways, is there a way to have the Dev Fees just point to one pool?
Have a problem with port 4444, my internet providers fault, was wondering if I could have the miner avoid that.

I have all older r9 cards that I have mining zec but I want to also mine eth so Im going to get new rx cards how much of a difference between 470 and 480 4gb or 8gb thanks
