I hate to say this but this is a fact that the project is very bad. I started to feel it from mid-2018 until the end of 2019. 1 project has yet to be valued and there are even some that have not been distributed (I think it's a scam), and many are still waiting for listings to market exchange. in my opinion this is unfair because the reason for the altcoin market is falling because participants and investors actually don't care about it, what they care about is that tokens can be seen on the exchange and then can be traded.
I think the current project team is scared because tokens will be of low value, or worse, they are only looking for personal gain.
We hate it because of the fact that, there are too many projects to choose from but most of them are scams, and it is really sad to say that many people has been frustrated with this too, that even if they will be listed on a good exchange, that reputable exchange would not date to check and investigate if what they are listing is good or not too. Well, we learn this past year (2018). but now that the 2020 is coming we can change our style of choosing a good project that can deliver their goals well. past years are so many investors and freelancers seeking to have a project to participate that they didn't investigate well, so many scam projects didn't afraid to show up and scam all the users. if everyone change then 2020 is a start for new crypto environment, less of scammers. |

What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?
If this happen it may need a understandable reason why it needs to vanish or need a reason that people will hate it the most and need it to vanish. but in my opinion it will not or whales would not let this happen because in crypto there are people that focus to protect and in every seconds there is something happen everyone finds a way to recover it or let anyone know to recover it. so every single user won't let that happen to crypto. |

My first new year crypto resolution is still gain more knowledge about crypto or focus at mas bigyan ng mataas na time para mas marami pa akong maibahagi sa mga friends ko na papasok sa crypto. Second is hahanap nadin ng matitinong bounties next year at wag na tatamarin dahil mas inisip na matagal ang kitaan at hindi worth it salihan ang mga project na nagsilabasan. (work hard maghanap ng legit at mapagkakatiwalaan) My third new year crypto resolution is hinding hindi na magpapadala sa mga hype para hindi na malugi at masayang ang oras dahil nagpapaniwala agad agad. I cant tell yet by end of this year or coming year of 2020 etherium will be have more surprising it comes. But we need to believe that would be a high price for etherium happen and as of now we need to buy more etherium and holding it until that time.
Ill think some of us in here are trying to hold more etherium for they heard about a good news from etherium.
Well, as of now there is still many speculations that eth will be more surprising in 2020 and I don't think this month or end of the year will be the perfect time to accumulate more eth. Yes, I agree with you that most films are made with the aim of obtaining large profits. and I think a movie about bitcoin is less interesting to watch and can't make a big profit. because we know that only a few people understand about bitcoin. so until now there is no film producer who wants to make a film about bitcoin. and if you want to make a film about bitcoin there must be a party to fund and sponsor the film.
If whales want to sponsor a huge movie for everyone then it will go successfully, even it will not have that much viewers or this forum will support the movie. I think that's not bad. In Here, the new altcoin will be chosen by everyone. Good altcoin will survive in the future and bad altcoins will die, of course this altcoin is chosen based on the project, and the new altcoin will not affect the price of the old altcoin.

It is hard to tell that it is will happen again, but our hope is still there that btc will reach that 2017 price or surpass it in upcoming years. we should not expect more this to happen so it will bot affect our emotions, just continue to focus btc's current price and in potential altcoins. maybe, 2020 will gave us a slight indication to btc's price and it will change what we expected.

Although I am very bullish on BTC, I am tired of speculations and analysts dropping one prediction or the other. It will moon when it will, just buy and hodl.
I have stopped refreshing coinmarketcap.com and I am waiting for major events before checking my portfolio again. The whales are just manipulating the market by pumping a little and dumped again. I am tired of watching the market up and down within a short period of time. Everyone's feelings are the same, btc is being more manipulated this days and the new investors are having fear to take a risk for a long term investment this year. so we can expect the real pumping in mid 2020 or expect the worst that might happen. all prediction that came out, no one get hint of the price. for me I will focus on potential altcoins than to check btc price daily. |

They already have strategy, fund and knowledge to survive not richer than other. So far I know whales have financial circle to manage their strategy. Unfortunately we only have half and just first step not hole circle and this part should find before too late. Become everything is fine but like or not we will back to zero again, trust me.

Indeed. lot's of project in 2018 are totally trash but we can't tell all of them are not good. we can see there are project until now still updating and running. why? because of interested investors that fully agree on what they are aiming. @Jocuserious you are right that cmc top 20 list of altcoins are great and good to invest until now and the next years. Day trading is actually risky because it is hard to manage your trades, watching the charts all day, and preventing yourself to have losses, that is why there are only few people who does day trading. But the advantages of day trading is that you can earn much faster than long term trading.
The advantage is you can earn faster but the disadvantage is you can have a losses for a week or month because day trading is very hard. even you have that knowledge in crypto it is not enough. especially this days that the market is not good enough to take day trading. I wouldn't recommend it if my friend want to try day trading. |

Before investing in a coin, we should know clearly the background of the coin, especially for new coins.. it would be nice if discussing first with other crypto-enthusiasts, usually they will give us some advice. But I personally prefer investing in popular coins like bitcoin and ethereum compared to new coins.
Yes you are right that investing in popular coin are safer this days but does not have that high percentage to gave us a higher profit if our investment is not that huge. investing in new coins is at high risk but if we are aware on that we can make a full research on our own and wait for the moment that the coin make its own shine and show us or prove to us that its worth and we can trust it. |

The year 2019 came with diverse expectations from everyone. Some persons were of the opinion that the year would be better than the previous year, others had a negative view.
The year 2020 is around the corner and I would like to know what are your expectations as it relates to the market, Crytocurrency projects and the overall health of the industry.
I don't think much my expectation for 2020 because of many negative news came out. reality is still fighting and my expectation is getting ruin. for now, I want to hear a big big news that can lifted up the price like other more countries will accept btc as payment wherever you are, that's what I want to see and hear. don't think much for now and focus on what is happening and be prepared on upcoming 2020. |
