$30 loss, come on, people are afraid for such thing really? they have not the right to hold then
This is only the first day. The damage will probably sip in much longer than that. But, I do want to buy more if bitcoin drop below 200 again. it won't i see 30 as a very stable value even 350, and in any case those will be drop of few hours day, it will recover quickly also Mike is just rage quitting because Xt was not approved that's the story I can see a drop to 300 happening, seems pretty plausible with the current events unfolding and panic selling. Might not recover that quickly honestly, regardless of why he ragequit this is a pretty major blow to bitcoin.

Who knows what they want. But we want, among other things: 1. Get rid of the income tax and don't replace it with anything; 2. Get rid of 90% of domestic business regulation; 3. Get rid of ALL victimless prosecution; 4. Repeal all laws that make anything that we do on our own private residence illegal as long as it doesn't clearly harm someone; 5. Open up 90% of government lands to homesteading. This would give us a whole lot more freedom, and would make the nation prosperous again. These would take like the entire 8 years of the term to get through lol, also there is no way some of these will go through, we don't have legalized weed let alone every other drug (which you seem to be implying should get legalized) Not implying legalization of anything. Stating, "Government, get your hands off of our lives." This means don't make it illegal or legal. Leave it alone. As far as the list goes, I was simply pointing out that all the BS that the candidates spout isn't anything like what the people really want in their hearts. And you seem to agree. As far as 8 years, it wouldn't take but 3 or 4 months if the people knew what to do. The thing to do is ask the IRS where they get the authority for income taxes. When they give the run-around, sue the individual people (not the IRS agents) for using their office to steal your property - your money - from you. This will NOT take years. It can be won in 3 or 4 months if done the right way - man to man - not man to IRS agent. Once government isn't receiving any income taxes any more, they won't care who homesteads what. They won't be able to afford to care. They will regulate import/export taxes in such a way to bring jobs home and to make the nation strong through exports. Why? Because that will be one of the few legal places they have left to get any taxes at all. Victimless prosecution protection is working right now for the people who have already caught on to how to do it. Karl Lentz - http://www.broadmind.org/ - does it by getting kids back to their parents for free when CPS takes the kids. The process can be used for 99% of the so-called crimes, the victimless crimes. All laws are public laws. Government has absolutely no right to do anything on your private residence. People who are using the Karl Lentz methods are scaring off cops and others when they try to make a court case out of your private life. You think that "someone who knows what he's doing" can get a bunch of legalization laws and socialistic changes throgh in a 3-4 month term? In the US? Hell no. There's a senate, it's extremely hard to get through them as a left-wing especially with such insane statements. Also why suddenly check the authority of why the IRS can take money from you? How is this even a question? It's a government institution and I don't think I have to explain to you why taxes exist in almost any functional country. And no, that's bullshit. Government absolutely can do shit on your private residence, with the right paperwork. Even in certain situation that's not required. Laws don't magically stop counting because you're in a private residence; the laws are country, or state-wide.You live there, you have to play by those laws.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you?

To many people it's not 'real money' because they either can't physically hold it ever or it's not backed by a government. However to me it definitely is. Qualifies for a currency in my book. I can pay with it, it's based on supply and demand, there's a limited amount in circulation.

I haven't bought recently, but I definitely would if I had the money. It's not a risk-free investment by any means but the bitcoin price has a pretty good chance of going up and I believe widespread adoption is still a possibility. Definitely worth to put x amount of money if you can dispose some income to investing.

What many of you seem to be not understanding is that just because someone (or a group) identifies as a Muslim it doesn't mean that their actions represent Islam
ISIS' version of "Islam" is just an excuse to justify their own agenda and get more people on their side. They do so much that goes against the Quran that it would be straight up stupid to think of them as representers of it.

Not russia, not europe and not the usa.
The only winner will be china.
China has about 10000 Kilometer giang tunnels, over the whole country. They has there over 3000 nuclear bombs and can shift and shoot it from on side of the country to the other side.
You cant destroy tunnels so easy when thery are hundreds of meters deep.
The first directly losers will be europe and russia.
There are nuclear bombs everywhere. Nobody will win if a world war happens. Unless by some magic they make an agreement to never launch nuclear weaponry at eachother, everyone is just going to end up blasting eachother away with nuclear weapons and there won't be any country left to actually win the war, considering everything will just be destroyed. I still doubt a WW3 would happen in the nearby future though, unless diplomatic relations reaaally mess up.

Linux
That OS is winning. What type of Linux is your favourite? I know the main ones are: Debian, Ubuntu, LinuxMint... Not very surprising on a bitcoin forum, many people here are concerned about privacy and all that, pretty anti Microsoft I presume. Also not the guy you quoted but I think Ubuntu is definitely the best if you want to just use Linux for regular things. I've also checked out ArchLinux and it looks pretty neat but it's pretty complicated to install and in general not the most accessible operating system.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin?

At the moment of course paypal, because no big online shop accept bitcoins. Paypal is accepted in the most "western countrys" and using the euro. Nearly every online shop accepting paypal in germany. But when there will be a pay with bitcoin button i would pay of course with bitcoins. It will come, its only a question of time. A lot of stores do now accept Bitcoin though, similarily to PayPal. I don't use bitcoin a lot anymore myself but I definitely see it more and more for things I check out for. Also, regarding the original post; paypal is obviously used more right now but bitcoin is easier to transact with because there's no chargebacks.

And that only proves that gamblers don't know their limits. He could easily stop and grab the money but he wanted more and more. The winners in gambling are not the one who won, but the one who know when to stand up and go home with their money.
Precisely. At the end is gambling fun in my eyes. Of course the motivation is to win money, but when i play poker for example, i play for the fun and not to win millions (that i will make with bitcoins in the future i hope ). Imo there is no wrong or right in gambling. Indeed. Gambling is about the entertainment/fun. But I wonder how can you be motivated from gamble away your money? It's just as any other entertainment form, you don't have to be motivated to "throw away your money", buying a game or a movie could be seen as exactly the same.
