1084  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why are there constantly new dice games, and why do people play them? on: August 07, 2013, 01:52:07 PM
Q:
Why there is more than 1 poker website?
Why there is more than 1 car company?
Why there is more than 1 phone company?
Why there is more than 1 company producing whatever product you think about?

A:
Because there is demand and we don't live in a monopolistic economy.

That actually makes sense. Thinking back my question is kind of silly. Thanks for the answer.
1085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why are there constantly new dice games, and why do people play them? on: August 07, 2013, 01:22:18 PM
1. It's easy to play.
2. It's fun to play.
3. You don't really need to think in order to play. You just bet.

Yeah, but, I mean, why do new ones pop up and are they being played? Why not just stick with one?
1086  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] 1 USB Block Erupter on: August 07, 2013, 10:23:45 AM
Looking to buy 1 USB Block Erupter for 0.50 BTC shipped. The ones that hash at roughly 330 Mh/s. If you are trusted and have history I will send first. If you are not trusted or do not meet what I feel is worthy enough history then I will ask you to send the block erupter first or we can use a trusted escrow such as JohnK or DannyHamilton. My reputation can be found in my trust page and also my reputation thread link found in my signature. I will split the escrow fee with you if we use one. I live on the east coast of the United States and would prefer being sold from someone in the US as well.

PM or comment if interested in selling. Thanks!

>>>>Also couple questions, do these miners hash at similar speeds for alternate currencies? And does it work as fast on a Mac? I know the GPU's for Macbooks are horrible and that is the computer I use.

Don't have one for sale for ya, but I don't think you can use the block erupters for alt currencies. And it should work just as fast on a Mac, the GPU may be bad, but the power is inside the erupter.
1087  Economy / Gambling / Why are there constantly new dice games, and why do people play them? on: August 07, 2013, 10:16:33 AM
The title is a bit weirdly worded, I don't mean this in a bad way at all. But, I've been seeing a bunch of new dice games, you first had SatoshiDice, then PrimeDice,Just-Dice,Insanitydice(lol),Gigadice, etc.

Now, disregarding Insanitydice, why do so many people play these sites? I've checked PrimeDice,Just-Dice, and Satoshidice out, but I barely see any difference. Again, I don't mean this in a negative way at all, I am merely curious.
1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: August 07, 2013, 09:30:56 AM
Yes, Teppy.

That's.. horrible. Guess I'm never playing here.
1089  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: August 07, 2013, 09:19:40 AM
FYI, the developer behind this is also responsible for this gem:

Quote
A Tale in the Desert, owned and operated by Andrew Tepper (also known as Teppy and Pharaoh, in-game) of eGenesis, sponsored and condoned a game-wide event that introduced sexual discrimination, upsetting a large portion of female players. The event was known throughout the game as "The Trader Malaki" in which a character named Malaki traveled throughout Egypt trading rare goods. Players lined up,waiting a great deal of time, to trade with Malaki but when a female character's turn to trade came, she was greeted with comments such as "Who is your master?", refusing to trade good with her stating that he did not trade with "slaves." As the event continued, female characters were continually treated to defamatory slurs and sexual discrimination, inciting a riot within the game.

I'll be voting with my Bitcoins.

The owner of Dragon's Tale did that?
