Big love to you all, specially to MM

Btcage

Right back at you, Btcage.  We're here for each other.  This is what makes a community.

If you have the original downloaded file (zip/archive) then please upload a copy to http://mega.nz and paste a link here for us.  Thank you.

If you are referring to an installed wallet and you want to repackage it for people to use, then I would ask that someone here who has Mac experience please provide Btcage instructions on how to do that.  Thanks guys.

Azure

Guys the block explorer is offline.. did you guys changed the server?

Lots have changed.
Go back in the thread as it seems Eurbids took a hike but we are here hoping
he will live up to his word he told the kore community of releasing kore 3.0

He took down the Website, the Github and the Explorer.

Rest Assured We on the Team are moving forward though...in such a way to leave the door open
for Eurbids to come through.

+1

Do you also have the bootstrap file?

Node addresses for config file, or a copy of the blockchain files?

And the links for the wallets also dont work...

Here's a Windows wallet link I made:

hello, is there a mirror for the wallet? I formatted my computer and need a new copy, thank you in advance.

Here is a copy of the Windows version I've uploaded for anyone who needs it.  Hopefully someone can upload a Linux and Mac version too.

Azure are you still waiting, still on strike?
Not been resolved yet?

Long time isn't it.

I had some fun in this thread, and learned some new things.

Yes, still waiting.  The postal service has major problems.  The parcel is stuck at customs and the Post Office has no idea when it will reach me.  None of the people, except one, I spoke with could tell me when it would arrive.  The one person who leaked out a bit of info to me (which she probably wasn't supposed to do) said they are 2 months behind with processing items.  So, it's probably going to take at least another 2 months to arrive. Sad

hello, lost all active nodes, could someone point me to a list of active nodes please? thank you.

I'm not aware of any fixed IP nodes that can be used.  I think the Dev did have some running, however I'm not sure they are still active.

I would suggest to leave your wallet running.  It should eventually pick up on a node.

I deleted my peers.dat file. this is what I see now in the log:

ThreadSocketHandler started

ThreadOnionSeed exited

there seems to be 3 seed addresses but they are currently down. maybe related to http://www.korecoin.org/ being offline?

Yes, I would say that the seed addresses not working are related to korecoin.org being offline.  There are no alternative static seed nodes that I know of; however, I've uploaded the peers.dat file for one of my wallets, here:
https://mega.nz/#!SVFiTQQT!0ZN_GEsjQ_wrlzQsdVYDGLaeBBalQO89NyHob69Y6iA
Perhaps using it will get you connected.  I hope so, anyway!

I'm glad to hear it worked.  Happy staking!

Did Azure get his coin? Smiley
I'm waiting for the second treasure hunt Smiley

I'm still waiting, and looking forward as well to the next treasure hunt.

After 2 weeks, Did you get your coin Azure?

No, I'm still waiting

You are still waiting after 2 weeks? This sounds fishy.

To be fair, the coin was shipped incorrectly and postal service employees in my country are currently on strike.  On the other hand the OP has not replied to my last couple of PMs.  Perhaps he's away on holiday or something, which might explain that.

thank you. Yes I will be staking. I have never sold KORE and all I have bought I have transferred to wallet to stake, no reason to keep on exchange. current price made me double my holdings. It's not much but it's my way of saying I still believe. I have been with KORE since the beginning, almost one year ago!!

You're welcome.  Good to know there are more of us out there.  I've never sold a single KORE, only been buying and been staking non-stop for the past 7 months.  In KORE for the long term and I believe it will be worth it! Smiley

Sorry but... Why the project about the merge with vior was abandoned?
IMHO the fusion was a great idea (maybe too late now...) Undecided

It's never "too late", and I say it deserves some serious consideration.

Any general news about development?? Thanks.

There are things being done to add some unique features (unlike any other coin) to the KORE wallet.  Stay tuned.

So??? Any news??? What about the merge with vior?

From what I've been able to tell, the Vior community has decided to go it alone; so as things currently stand there doesn't seem to be a merger.  Each coin is carrying on separately.  KORE 3.0 is surely on the horizon though.

Eurbids, community, everyone, and decisions made yet and/or consensus on the way forward?

This is why alternatives and countermeasures are- and must be developed:

Quote
Intelligence Services Block Activist’s Emails … And Frame Them With Fake Emails

You send an email to a reporter saying that you’ve got proof of criminal wrongdoing by a government official … or a big bank.  You never receive a response.

You send an email to an expert on monetary policy asking if the Federal Reserve’s policies help the rich at the expense of the little guy … or an expert on radiation asking if the Fukushima accident might endanger public health.  You never receive a response.

This might be because the person you wrote to isn’t interested enough to write back.

Or because they think you’re a crank.

Or because your email simply ended up in their spam folder.

But there could be another explanation …

China has blocked gmail for its citizens.

Yahoo blocked emails relating to the Occupy protests.

Bahrain uses British software that allows the government to frame political activists by creating messages from that person that they never typed.  35 other countries use the same software.

Tunisia monitored and blocked the emails of activists, so they were never delivered.

And Snowden revealed that the British spy agency GCHQ has developed numerous offensive digital tools, including:

Ability to deny functionality to send/receive email or view material online.

***

Ability to spoof any email address and send email under that identity.

***

Mass delivery of email messaging to support an Information Operations campaign.

The potential for stifling dissent is staggering.

A new report presents overwhelming evidence that sophisticated spying software is being abused by governments around the world.

The findings by The Citizen Lab, a digital research laboratory at the University of Toronto, detail how the software marketed to track criminals is being used against dissidents and human rights activists.

Titled "For Their Eyes Only: The Commercialization of Digital Spying," the report focuses on a type of surveillance software called FinSpy that can remotely monitor webmail and social networks in real time as well as collect encrypted data and communications of unsuspecting targets.

...

Here are the 36 countries that have been found to host FinFisher Command & Control Servers, to which the malware connects to harvest reams of data:
