141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Higher and lower risks in gambling is the gamblers choice. on: January 27, 2024, 03:37:29 PM
what you say is very true, it's just that this applies to all games, the bigger the bet, the bigger the profit and vice versa, this is something gamblers generally know that what they don't know is how to reduce capital and increase opportunities, because I know there is no answer to gambling. It's just luck, that's why many people try their luck
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 27, 2024, 03:02:01 PM
Of course, anything bad can happen to gamblers, because if they are addicted to gambling they will do anything to get money and gamble, domestic violence can also occur for many reasons, such as asking their wife for money but not giving it, selling the contents of the house, even The most terrible thing is stealing, criminal acts like this are what is really feared, the effects of gambling addiction are very dangerous

144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: January 27, 2024, 02:40:39 PM
It seems like it doesn't matter if you gamble, it's just gambling, meaning even if you gamble because of an addiction or whatever, if it doesn't affect your life, especially your personal finances, in my opinion it's not bad and I'm proud to see you, because I personally can't do it like that. you say, but remember to control yourself when it comes to gambling
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 27, 2024, 02:01:01 PM
everyone has a different view, especially those who have experienced great suffering because of gambling, if they have experienced suffering in their life because of gambling, and now they are gambling, they are just venting and considering gambling as their hobby, they don't expect anything from gambling because of their previous experience, but if the person who gambles has never experienced this, of course he will think he will make extra money in gambling.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 27, 2024, 01:35:37 PM
in my opinion the chance of winning is the same every day we gamble or just occasionally, if it is true that every day we gamble the chance of winning will be greater then no one will suffer from gambling, for me it is just nonsense so that we are influenced by it, Let's say he won but he didn't estimate the capital that came out while he was gambling

148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: January 27, 2024, 11:46:04 AM
As the gambling industry is evolving, I think innovations would have kicked in that can make someone create a career from gambling. I do not know how this can be achieved but I feel it is possible.

Making gambling a full time job might be seen as risky but I still feel one can make gambling full time job and a career.

What do you all think?
making gambling as a career is possible, but if we are just users who are quite far from the words career, instead of calling it a career it is better to say successful gambler, there are many people who are successful and become rich because they work in casinos, maybe that's because the skills and abilities they have if they have a career in casinos, of course they work and get paid
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 27, 2024, 10:47:35 AM

Is quite unfortunate that the game failed totally,as a gambler you're suppose to budget the money that can be used for gambling should incase you reach the limit so you can be able to know the money that you spent in gambling if you lost the whole money in your budget
You can take a brake is not mandatory, instead of taken loan from any bank.

Yes, because gambling doesn't always benefit us, sometimes it can actually cause a lot of losses for ourselves. and thoughts like that will not occur in a gambler who is seriously addicted, because an addict only cares about personal pleasure and does not think about other people.
Of course, as a gambler, we must be able to limit our money when betting and adjust to the financial budget we have, in other words, don't force bets if we can't afford it because if this continues then we will definitely get into trouble. of the impact of the risks involved in gambling. .
And in my opinion, if you don't have extra money to gamble, you shouldn't borrow from the bank because that is a fatal mistake.
Sometimes when we gamble without realizing it we will get carried away, where when we gamble the curiosity that arises is very big, without thinking twice we continue to make deposits and want to solve our curiosity, that's why it's best not to have money saved that's easy for us. access when gambling no matter how to secure the money so that when we gamble, this is just an anticipation for us
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 27, 2024, 09:38:41 AM
Personally, I don't like the word Gambler tbh. And it feels more worse when someone calls someone a Gambler in the local language. I played some hands it's true and I tested many games for test purposes But I was never affected by the gamble. and I consider I am not a gambler myself. Somehow I do not feel good or something does not fit with me by this word.

What do you think about yourself and how do you want to define the word Gambler?
I call myself a gambler, and the definition of the word gambler is a person who likes or only occasionally plays gambling. You can say that you are a gambler. There is nothing wrong with calling yourself a gambler. If you feel that it is not suitable for you, please stop gambling and never play, but there is nothing wrong if you call yourself a responsible gambler or you can also gamble for entertainment
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Older men vs Younger boys in gambling, Which enjoys Gambling for fun the more? on: January 26, 2024, 07:37:04 PM
In my own country, old people enjoy gambling games for fun, generally old men don't determine the size of the bet but how they can enjoy and have fun gambling with their friends (physically) old men are usually blind to gadgets and don't understand. way to play online, while it is quite common for young people to play at online casinos
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Low Liquidity Altcoins on: January 22, 2024, 07:21:13 PM
You shouldn’t trade this coin with so much trouble! You sell it and start trading on top exchange like binance or kucoin. Moreover, you can use vpn to account in gate but it will be risky. You can't find this token on mexc exchange because they have delisted it. However I don't have experience trading the coins you provided as I am very careful with a coin. A good project is always followed by the best exchange.
maybe he bought it from dex not from cex, that's why he had difficulty exchanging it on cex, if I look at dexscener the daily volume on pulsex is quite high I'm not so sure, because it could be just manipulation I've never traded on pulsex so one way he exchanges his money is to bridge assets into the BSC, Polygon, ERC-20 or other networks that have many options for selling them
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a life by Day Trading on: January 22, 2024, 06:21:30 PM
I am very inspired by the OP's activities, but personally it is quite difficult for me to implement it, I don't expect much in trading, even implementing a daily profit of $10 is very difficult for me to do, I know my lack of skills in trading or even I don't focus on trading so choose the buy or cell option carelessly, for friends, what do I need to do to be able to consistently trade? I have tried trading many times, but the results are not suitable.
154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No one has gone broke taking profits, always take profits. on: January 22, 2024, 05:57:44 PM
Your teacher only focuses on profits, so what if the price position drops suddenly? What steps would you take if you followed your teacher's advice, that's why you need to understand the risks, not just the profits, applying stop loss & take profit is much better and simpler than just hoping you can continue selling and making a profit, the crypto market is very volatile no matter what. could occur
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges 2023 annual report by TokenInsight on: January 22, 2024, 05:44:30 PM
in my opinion binance will remain the top 1 exchange this year, if orca dex is top for now I'm a bit doubtful because I see many other dexes emerging from the popularity of each L1 or L2, we'll look at zksync this year and The top dex is Syncswap could beat orca, but let's see together because every progress in crypto is our mutual pleasure
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 22, 2024, 05:25:08 PM
How will I blame someone for a loss I have, anyone who have started the journey of gambling must be above the age of 16,and he must be solely responsible and accountable to every action he takes when it comes to selection of the game to play.i don't think anyone can ever be responsible for another person's loss in gambling because while playing, you must have already made up your mind that it's either you win or you loose, one thing must happen. The only way you can blame someone is maybe you gave a game to someone to play, and the person went ahead to play what you didn't predict, and the game eventually plays, one can be angry, and can probably blame who you sent to play the game for you.
We don't need to blame other people for the losses we experience from gambling. When we gamble, we already know that it will cause us to lose a certain amount of money and the more often we gamble, we can lose more money. We have to be responsible when playing gambling so we really have to have limits to prevent lots of losses. You can blame other people for forcing you to gamble, but that rarely happens because gambling depends on each person and there is no compulsion to gamble. So we have to be wise in responding to it and don't need to blame other people if we lose.
I agree with you, why do we have to blame other people if we lose at gambling it is very unreasonable, how can other people control us, people are very stupid if they have to blame other people for the losses they suffer, let's say we tell people to play with the money we have, why do we give people control over our money? Let's say we trust him, of course we are ready for all the risks whatever happens
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading 2023 results. Bitcointalk members. on: January 22, 2024, 05:12:33 PM
Last year's trading was quite dark, I kept trying to make a profit from coins or tokens that had just been listed, but I wasn't fast enough in buying & selling, and this happened several times, this year I want to try again with more thorough preparation because of the graph the coins or tokens that I buy recover within a few days - 1 week, I will try and when I experience a loss I will hold it until my target price is reached
158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kindly Share your trading Stategy. on: January 22, 2024, 04:57:21 PM
First of all, I prepare capital for trading, maybe 10% of my income, then I look for information on projects that are really serious about running according to their roadmap. When there is good information that I am sure will create moments, that's where I will put in the money to buy it. 50% of the total capital I have and the other 50% I will use for future trading, & don't forget that when the coins or tokens I buy fall from 15% I will close them and try to buy them again at the lower price
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for new coin listing alerts app on: January 22, 2024, 04:47:04 PM
I myself joined the official CEX Telgram channel which I follow, like
Binance, kucoin, okx, & bybit I choose to be patient waiting for the project to be listed rather than following most of the Cexes such as mexc, gate, bitmart which very often announce the latest listings, I take it in a safe position even though it's not 100%, and I really avoid trade on dex because most coins are fake and rug
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not use more than 2x leverage on: January 22, 2024, 04:20:17 PM
maybe what is meant for long term trading, most average futures traders place leverage at 25+, because it usually only works temporarily, like me personally sometimes I increase the leverage to 125 x and only order $1-2 in each trade setting the SL and TP options for Minimizing risk, which Vitalik said is true if we trade for the long term, does not apply to the short term
