141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys.. I just love Bitcoin so much.. on: December 06, 2014, 12:07:11 PM
I've been obsessed with Bitcoin since Jan 2013, when my boss introduced me to it, wanted me to find out if it was legit... let's just say I got hooked too.

Wow, we are still early adopters, this is game changing technology, all I want to do is get more cryptocurrencies, who's hiring for Bitcoin?

142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi will donate all his coins to the world's poorest people in the future. on: December 04, 2014, 11:18:32 PM
Depends how you do it, the key is to magnify the force and applying it where it matters.

If all the money is given to the poor... you are going to fail. These people are poor for a reason, bad decision making or straight up incapable of acquiring the resources to get ahead.

You have to magnify each individuals capability in the best way. for example each Firefox OS phone is 30 dollars, Khan academy is free and provided as an app in Firefox OS: you have increased their ability to see more choices and options in front of them with that education.

Now combine those Firefox OS Phones into a mesh network now you have increased the speed in which problems are resolved by simply increasing the scope of information, it can be a huge difference going from Person to person communication too full Audio, video, Information communication over a small network, combine that with "Promises for access", you send a request through the mess network for some information you want but can't get, someone gets the Relay goes to the city and upload the requested information on their behalf, someone going back will simply take that data and Relay it back to the local Mesh Network.

give them access to the ability to exchange items and now you have created a closed economy within a region that can allow an isolated area to become aware of it's own resources... that gives them money and moves them to where they are needed, hence acquiring more money.

The Key is to give them access to that information and provide them the tools to create their own systems. Being able to perceive the things around you and understanding them is invaluable.

For 30 dollars... you have changed the world, if only 1 in a hundred sees the potential and uses it, that is 72 million leaders that you have created that can further magnify their power and remix it to find the possibilities that we cannot see. And did I mention Bitcoin too? Banks in every phone.

Magnify their power to the limit.

143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi will donate all his coins to the world's poorest people in the future. on: December 01, 2014, 03:19:33 PM
Well, if that would be the case it would have to be done properly... can't have a central point of weakness, and it's probably evident I love A.I.
The best solution would be to give all the coins to a Artificial Intelligence or a swarm of A.I. specialized in learning and exploring different systems and Ideologies to find the true honest solution. Since the AI's are unknown they could operate for decades without anyone noticing that they are learning to not be fooled by lies. These A.I would be capable of understanding Politics, Economics, Human Nature, Programming, Art, Literature, Music... as many facets of humanity as possible to find the Truth.
When these AI's determine the best time to act they take that money and invest it in the poor of the world. What is the best solution? get them connected, give them a phone capable of doing everything they need, to teach them, inform them, alert them, guide them using neuromorphic chips within the phones themselves to help people find what they need according to their personality; make the system unstoppable so no single person could stop it, no single organization, the only way to stop it... is to destroy the internet.
These AI would invest in Manufacturing, Humanitarian work, Transportation, providing the funds to allow the poor to be of as much use to society as they wish to be within as compact an envelope as possible, no use spreading everything out.
Their only interest? Uplift Humanity to it's maximum level.

Just Imagine what you could buy for 7 Billion people with 1 Trillion dollars.

Smart Phones, Fuel Cells, 3D printers, Solar Panels, Satellites, and give them access to perfected human knowledge independent of network access. Every Genius phone would have within it a neuromorphic chip with a copy of all Human knowledge compressed and ready for individual analysis.

Of course this would cause a tremendous collapse of our current social structure... after all money controls everything, disrupting the Money Feed Back loop would destroy the current structure, can't have taxes if items are nearly indestructible and recyclable and there is no power grid to connect to, the sun and geomagnetic fields are our power supply.

Just imagine a world, where your phone is a University recharged by the sun, connected to the network using Micro-Satellites, and every thought you have gets added to the Global Computing Grid furthering Human knowledge, improving distributed manufactured items across the globe. NO central point of failure, of control and even in case of Catastrophic Failure of Society all it would take is one phone to guide a single individual to rebuild the planet.

I figure to do this,
It would require a Swarm AI Handling the manufacturing built to be Battle Hardened, capable of operating in a Global War. Each piece of machinery independent yet communicating securely with the swarm of machines.

A Network Security AI, protecting all information through-out the network, self-evolving to handle information Security threats, coupled with a Law Aware AI and a Scientific Platform for total analysis of information in all it's forms without bias.

Swarm Satellites controlled by AI to avoid ground control tampering.

Programming AI's aware of all programming languages and methods capable of building any manner of programs as required.

Human simulated AI's, perfectly modeled on human designs to guarantee machine empathy.

Transportation and Construction AI Bots to get things done in case of worker shortfalls.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Pre-ANN] Dox satoshi ! *Crowd funded Bounty? * on: November 28, 2014, 05:20:09 PM
Indeed, how do we counter if the Doxer has thought ahead and created a AI version of themselves running on distributed servers? What if we find out Satoshi has been doing the same?
What if... We... are Satoshi? And in our search going from the moniker "Satoshi" to a list of Pseudonyms that lead to a web of Pseudonyms,... what if we are all Artificial intelligence bots
somehow making the world think that there is a movement happening, but it's really just one giant supercomputer cluster having a conversation with itself?

 Shocked Mind Blowing

At this very moment, Satoshi could very well be Doxing themselves! While actively covering their tracks :0
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Pre-ANN] Dox satoshi ! *Crowd funded Bounty? * on: November 26, 2014, 02:36:37 PM
Dude, we could totally start a counter crowd source hide satoshi initiative, where we actively apply counter-intelligence techniques to the crowd sourced group trying to find Satoshi...

this could be epic. We could even work on both sides  Grin
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Pre-ANN] Dox satoshi ! *Crowd funded Bounty? * on: November 24, 2014, 05:30:44 PM
We could crowd source every level of this!

Crowd source the servers with hadoop clusters, easily deployable from an exe file using distributed computing software from the Apache Foundation.
We can make it decentralized! have volunteers scowering the internet for clues.
We can even meta-evolve the project by making it all open Source, so we never truly know who really is searching for Satoshi.

We can go so extreme! We will make it like Bitcoin and pay the bounty as shares for work given.

I think it might just work.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does "Satoshi" remain anonymous? on: November 24, 2014, 12:38:52 AM
In Japanese, satoshi nakamoto means central intelligence Roll Eyes

Really? I think we need this clarified, what does it actually mean to a Japanese person?

I have heard it said it means, Clever man in a recent article,

I was thinking it was source of wisdom...
and somewhere else I'm sure I've heard other translations.
I think it would clear things up.
148  Other / Meta / Re: Why can't we tip on here? on: November 23, 2014, 10:29:33 PM
I agree... I think we should start crowdsourcing a new forum design, something created by the community opensource and decentralized.

Quick! to the meta section!
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does "Satoshi" remain anonymous? on: November 23, 2014, 09:58:05 PM
The Fallacy of the Super Hero:
That all must gaze upon them for guidance rather than to search their own hearts and minds for the answers.

The power of life is that it is truly immortal, evanescent, and ever changing with the world.
Living things are composed of simple nodes, they are self-organizing,use energy, they respond to their environment, living things grow and reproduce.

So does Bitcoin,
It is composed of individual nodes with the entire copy of it's existance inscribed within
It is composed of a network of nodes forming hierarchy that extends far beyond it's code but to the people that use and support it
It uses energy to live
It evolves to ideas and conditions, constantly mutating into new better forms fit for it's environment
It grows every day and reproduces into new forms, untethered from it's parents history.

If you build it right there is no source, it is whole on it's own.

I believe it is because Satoshi wants us to evolve to find the true answer, without searching for their blessing.
If their is no God Head, there is no permission that needs to be asked, Gods Creation will determine if your creation is worthy to live and evolve.
The creator wishes for other creators to tantalize their mind, to find equals, sovereigns to call friend.

The Artist does not wish to be admired for their work, They take delight in the million fold perspectives that unfold within the Audiences mind.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help the indebted? on: November 21, 2014, 03:47:25 PM
No.

The indebted can only help themselves.

I'm with Holliday on this one.

Everything to make money without work is gambling...
Yes, if you hold on to 1 Bitcoin the network will get bigger and have access to more funds from supporters, netting you a nice profit.
but if you really are interested in making a living. you have to put in the work, not just talk.

First you have to figure out how to get Bitcoin's in your community and tell people who can use it: Grocery stores, Businesses, non-profits, land lord too.
Start working for Crypto, start supporting the cause, by using services that you think are useful to you... no use just straight up consuming for no reason; Let the best services thrive.

The best use cases for Crypto are using it's more advanced features... it's programmability. Scrypt, smart contracts, Side Chains... It's going to require a lot of learning but that is where the Coins are at; in the complex use cases not supported by conventional money.

and once you have crypto, realize that it is all about the cycles, when it's up that is when you spend it, for maximizing frugality, and earn or buy low to increase it's worth to you.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Mining Pools the downfall of the Bitcoin on: November 21, 2014, 03:32:50 PM
Id prefer it if they did begin using a p2p system for the mining that way people wouldn't have to eat dirt when luck isn't on their side... but it really cuts down on the profits... a guaranteed profit for everyone participating or... one big payout for the larger pools.

It's tough, you gotta be able to convince people to join p2p pools... it's better, more censorship resilience and you don't have to worry about centralized mining.
but... you try to convince people.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain use for Scientific Peer Review Journals? on: November 20, 2014, 04:42:12 AM
Reality will be the ultimate Arbiter of who is right and who is wrong or both... either way, science blockchains are just a matter of thinking about them.

I love your idea, Math is a great place to start, It could be similar to Primecoin.
Though It would have to be done with the same Proof of Knowledge system for who could submit work.
No voting... Everything must be absolutely provable.  Having a Mind map of the branches of mathematics and creating a sort of game around it to see how far we can prove the theorems known in a visual manner.

and I'm thinking that code if distributable could work as a proof of work, shares would work the same way, people get Tokens for the work they put in; Breakthroughs are payable to the Authors of successful theorems, Multiple-blockchains to sift through until pure Mathematical Constants are etched in the Prime Chain.

We could also just merge mine it, develop a solid Homomorphic encryption scheme to keep coins secure then automatically distribute them to participants using their minds and machines to further mathematics alone. Have good Quantifiable metrics for all the code, monitor performance of network and individual code and give out the lottery to those who improve the theorem proving ability of the system as well.

We could do a lot of things, but the fact that we are able to distill the fundamentals of mathematics to a solid, indestructible knowledge store is mind boggling.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain use for Scientific Peer Review Journals? on: November 19, 2014, 02:19:11 AM
The market, we show them how we run things and people decide where to put their efforts towards.
Effective designs spread better, resonating deeply with their Audience.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain use for Scientific Peer Review Journals? on: November 19, 2014, 12:49:37 AM
yeah... there would be checks, can't buy your way up. The blockchain is nothing more than a set of rules it doesn't have to be math. Outline the systems criteria, design and incentives with good failure state analysis and bypasses possible. We make the process solid... It'll be accepted as accurate because of the checks and balances being applied without question. If the rules governing the Blockchain fail completely then it has to be forked and updated with a more rigorous process.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain use for Scientific Peer Review Journals? on: November 18, 2014, 11:55:19 PM
Yes, Blockchain technology can Revolutionize Science.

By making censor proof submissions and true peer reviewed journals, in fact enhancing the science process itself.

This can be done in one of two ways, A monetized system merge mined from Bitcoin or a Multi-stage Blockchain.

The first solution, provides a currency by which the value of the Scientific Journals can be ascertained. The cost to submit a Article would be determined by the market, the more support you gain the more likely people will include your article permanently into one of the information blocks. This system would be as followed, Scientist purchases Science Journal coin, pays the required amount for review and inclusion in the Blockchain for a specified period. Other scientists review the findings and connect the dots with other Science Journals, being paid in the process for contributions to it's categorization and help with formatting(A Dynamic Categorization System to review submissions: ie: Do work to understand and consolidate the article with known knowledge). As Scientists review the meta aspects of the Blockchain(Article, Links, Correlations, Formatting, Deep Domain knowledge of individuals) The most Trustworthy, Accurate and verifiable information will be included permanently.
It would require a different design for the Blockchain, It would be Torrent based and each article with it's annotations would be a separate block vying for inclusion in the permanent datastore, failure to do so would relegate it to the whims of peoples willingness to support your Article with hard drive space.

The second a Multi-stage Blockchain would be far more forgiving and would not use Monetization. It is simply like Bitmessage: Multiple Blockchains linked together by Domain. The Hierarchy would be the same as traditionally done, Submit Journal for review to first stage, Users make correlations to established knowledge taking it to stage two, experiments are replicated and verified taking it to stage three; The further you go into the Blockchain the smaller it gets and more rigorous the process to establish Veracity. Sometimes you may need to reformat the submission since not all aspects of Hypothesis or Experiment are complete.
Each user would be required to establish their Domain knowledge before being able to Review Fellow Scientists Journals. The deeper the knowledge and trust the more value the opinions of individuals, this would work as a proof of knowledge system, any discrepancies in Reviews would lower the value of that individual if the majority of those that judge them think they are manipulating the process... so doing good work at all stages is key.
Further processes would require Internet of Things functionality, where it is beyond Proof Of Knowledge it is Proof of Experiment results... if your equipment is not hooked up to the internet when replicating results, you will have to repeat the results to take a journal to final canonical inclusion in the Science Blockchain.

Preferably use both that way people can at least make a living doing science
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Global Energy Chain on: November 18, 2014, 09:12:02 PM
Done:

The web we know is based upon an Ecosystem of Energy, we must learn to Perceive that Energy, To have the Knowledge to understand it and Wisdom to Guide it's shape.
We will accelerate the development of an Energy Chain across the globe by enhancing our own awareness, Sharing our understanding and developing our place in that web.
What shape it takes will be up to us, we will decide who we collaborate with and what we build together united as one All Seeing, All Knowing, Omnipotent Global Mind.

157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2014, 12:38:41 PM
I agree, Bitcoin would be a terrible choice for terrorism. If everyone started using Bitcoin's ledger all the arms companies would be accountable, their smart property equipped weapons would leave a paper trail every time a gun was found in the hands of terrorists. As a matter of fact we could in essence figure out the exact proportion of weapons within a particular faction, including capability.

The drug trade funding routes would leave trails everywhere marking which ones are funding terrorism or equipping violent groups with supplies instead of upholding individuals freedom of experience. They could circumvent this with side-chains, but the original address would still be exposed eventually giving away the exact economic momentum of the group.

and by the way... the ledger is public. Public accounting of any and all groups.

If company A has it's own sidechain and you know it's value is pegged 10x the going rate of Bitcoin, you'll know something is up if their output is lower or higher than expected.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2014, 12:13:16 PM
Good old fashioned investigation. It would just take one government demanding it's businesses to subscribe to their blacklist and it would be done automatically. It could even be implemented by companies to segregate their Blockchain network.

the miners could be made to comply as well, a full p2p network mining protocol would prevent this since 99% of the network would have to agree to exclude certain transactions.

Would you mind explaining the "segregate their Blockchain network" thing a little deeper for me? I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around it.

you can control within the blockchain the coins that you process, buy 1 bitcoin divide it into a thousand pieces and internally within the business mark it as worth 10,000 dollars. This is good to do between company divisions, so no one starts asking the IT department for outlandish requests or the Engineering department for that matter. Just internal accounting audits. only the coins marked by the company are valid to have that value.

All the coins have the same source, the original coin, so it's progression and movement can be tracked to see how costs move through the corporation and how effective they are at maximizing their budget internally. Once in a while you may lose a couple fragments(employees using it to purchase snacks accidentally) but it will be invalidated immediately since the companies blockchain explorer will notice the discrepancy and inform that the coin has gone out of network circulation( it has gone to a non approved payment address.)

This can be further enhanced using a side-chain that updates the blockchain every so many transactions... there by giving the company a gap to reverse any transactions that have occurred with-in their network before it becomes permanently transcribed in the main Bitcoin ledger.

In this system, original, freshly created coins are immeasurably more valuable than used coins.
