Problem is, they are going to exceed 850w if things go really well. And we all saw those photos of how many 850w PSU's they have!
So they may tune it down to keep it below 850w, just so they don't have to buy 1000's more PSU's.
Discuss.
PSU should operate at 60-80% to get maximum effeciency and cool they have failed badly lol, should buy 1KW platinum, not crap coolermaster oh you silly fuck

Discuss? There isnt much to discuss. I bought 1000W PSUs cause there is always some room left for overclocking and so additional 150W could be well spent.

It might have peaked at 596, but the sustained speed looks like it's going to be more like 500. I'm ok with 500, especially if they ship out my order within the next week!
I'm more concerned about power at the wall though. KNC seems like its going to be the most power hungry of all the gen 2 ASIC miners.
i guess those guys know their chip. when they announce 576+ then you can bet that they have a reason for doing so. why should they state 576 an have alot of trouble when everybody would be happy with 500 anyway? doesnt make any sense. so you can bet it will be 576+ Website already says 550+ for the Jupiter i liky like

Great work KnC, bitcoinorama! Thank you soo much for all that you have done! Tip him some, i did so too.

FU** !!! was so close. Prediction: Jupiter's total Gh/s will be > #pages of this thread.
With a little tweaking 600+ should be doable.

mr. orama, are they working through the night?

You get 500+ instead of 400 for a Jupiter. That rocks...
ands 500+ will return my 85BTC investment a generate some profit? really? KNC sell you miners. Thats it. They are not responsible for your profit or losses due to network hashrate! Erm, yes they are, unless you aren't going to mine with the KnC rigs they are pumping out (not as they originally said, a small manageable customer base they could support well). When the hashrate rises like a wall this month..that won't be KnC? lmao. They also made statements about the hashrate increase and how they were going to try and protect us from it if they could so we could see a return. They even said they would have a little break and not produce anything for months in the unlikely event that other people didn't ship rigs. Buying rigs is a mug's game at the moment, selling them is awesome...lovely profits, no need to even fund it yourself and not your fault if they don't make the punters any profit or even break even. OR if they are late, but not as late as BFL you're a hero. Mad business. Again: KNC sell you miners. Thats it. They are not responsible for your profit or losses due to network hashrate! And yes obv KNCs miners have an effect on the network. But seriously if you werent able to add that effect into your considerations than you better stay out of this whole business as you seem to lack basic understandings.

VERY true and nothing to do with Knc... You have all just purchased very expensive Paper Weights.. LOL! and the next one comes around the corner...

I am so sick of people complaining. KNC set out to delivery the machines by the end of September 2013. Look at where we are today. If the machines hash faster than what you originally paid for, are they asking for more money??? The BTC difficulty has nothing to do with KNC so STFU about it.
Congrats KNC. Keep rock'n. Home stretch!
### the assholeness in this thread sometimes is really disgusting

"Sirs, I ask again... Do we start shipping or start mining with all of it by ourselves?" maybe that the way things work in china or russia or whatever. we talking about sweden here. thats similar to switzerland in terms of integrity.

So now that it looks like KNC has a miner and starts shipping the coming hours/days you just switch the threads and start to fuck this thread up?
And for the top of it you are seriously trolling this thread with pictures from KNC after telling KNC for months that they will fail?!
Just piss off dude.

Sorry guys out of the country and on my cell so I cannot browse the whole thread
I see orama posting with lots of smileys, how many KnC customers have received their units? Did they finally succeed?
He's posting images from the production factory! No one has received any units yet. But images are looking hopeful. Hashing seems to be going on. Delivery this week? Ok, so they finally over promised and under delivered. Sad. kk thx bye

Oh come on, dont call yourselves transparent if you can't even tell publicly in what state the production is. Posting pictures isn't telling us the important things. Is the chip working, do you get valid vectors?
I can tell you that the 'golden nonce' was indeed found. And that is both good, and bad. Good that it proves the ASIC hashes. Bad in that 'Golden Nonce' is a very unfortunate name in British English. It basically means kiddy fiddler; pedafile. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonce_(slang) In any case, I'm not 100% sure it's for me to announce anything else, plus I need to give the guys space. They're working. This translates into - ships tomorrow...no pickup today. But don't get me wrong I'm really happy that we can see this happening and that they were true to deliver by october. Which is perfectly fine with 99.9% of us.

Good job Orama! Really appreciate your effort!

Maybe he sits in a stockholm bar and gets drunk. And hopefully he gets drunk cause the news he learned today and isnt allowed to share was a good one and not a bad one and he is boozing himself cause he had so many jupiter-preorders.

However, I am glad to announce I have a solution that has never been known to fail. Fix Your Asic Miner By Baking In OvenLOL! I did that 5 times with my old macbook. And it worked everytime.

I dont mind any minor delays of a few days. Thats not the problem. I dont like the non-existent communication-policy.
We had a on-off communication the last months. Sometimes very detailed then again absent for several weeks. And now its just non-existent again.
Either dont communicate details at all and stay silent or communicate and tell your customers whats going on.
But this inbetween of broken promises (Video, China-Show etc) and silence is just not good imo.
