1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BOUNTY Dev Assistance Requested on: December 21, 2017, 02:15:19 AM
Still No traction, so we got our warehouse and 50 L3+ miners with another 50 S9 on the way. We are currently looking for a Cloud miner script that would allow us to sell by the TH to clients and have automated payouts. Lastly if there are any programers out there that can lend any assistance on the matter the bounty has moved up to a free LifeTime Contract that you can find on our website. www.kss.global

Would it be a pain to develop an app for this? What is required?

Manpower or hardware?

like hardware, software or manpower?

The app doesn't exists yet, that is what KSS is trying to build a team or get a dev on board to build the application.

Got some traction for our Public Relations Officer and a Google App Dev... hopefully we can get something off the ground. For those that are interested in transparent mining please post on these forms.

The Client app would be useful, for android and iOS. but the agent app would strictly be android.

Depends on what all you are asking, small projects 2-3% is ok. large projects can go as high as 30%

To those Dev's who are looking for a 20% Stake in a digital currency production(Mining) company...

KSS Global Inc is offering a Bounty for any Dev or Team that successfully develops an application for the android platform for company use.
KSS provides all the necessary hardware and software for a client to monitor their miner that is hosted at our warehouse location. We currently use Bitmain Products but not all clients can afford the investment capital we normally look for. As a result we are looking for a more feasible option for clients.

The solution is not to change the hardware we know, but to change the system that places payment to clients very much like a pool. For example.

Client "A" Brings in 10% of money required for a mining kit

Client "B" Brings in 40% of money required for a mining kit

Client "C" Brings in 50% of money required for a mining kit

Client "D" Brings in 100% of money required for a mining kit

There is a warehouse that houses 2 mining kits, Kit "F" is owned by Client "D" and makes 100% of the bitcoin that is produced. But in the act of transparency as we all prefer vs the Cloud mining method of companies like Genesis Mining that don't share pool information let alone any of the actual costs. We choose to provide a service that actually makes it easier for clients to mine and actually be in control of what their miner does. Continuing...

Kit "G" produces 14.5TH/s for Sha-256 but is split between 3 owners (A,B,C), as a result a idea was created,

Imagine a program that takes 100% of the generated currency minus the operating costs divided by 100 then paid out in proportion to clients. This was you actually see how your miner is working and what it is actually making.

Feature for this application or program would require a server side/Application(Client)/Application(Agent)

Server side would Monitor Miners and stats to troubleshoot as required. That alerts Agents to the status of the miner that requires care.

Application(Client) would allow a client to see what ownership he or she has to a miner and the payout history as well as payout address and what operational costs there are to include miner performance.

Appication(Agent) would need to allow a Employee/Agent the ability to set a miners allocation based on a percentage. 50% ownership so on and so forth. As well as pull up specific information of a miner by IP address QR code. (Agent gets a notification a unit is malfunctioning... agents walks up, scans QR code to identify miner IP and then automatically pulls up the dashboard for the miner via the internet browser.

In the effort of transparency the electrical costs withheld from the company would be refunded in the event that any amount is overdrawn to the total Mine, so for example....

Electrical costs for this month were 10% of digital currency produced so 10% is withheld through out the month and used to pay the costs. In the event that the operating costs is actually lower that calculated then the amount is refunded to the miners accounts the following month. Once again creating a even and fair playing field for the company and clients alike.

Some may say that any agent could just go in and change the allocation to a miner. This would be another feature would like to prevent from happening. By KSS allowing clients to conduct their own investigation of their miner 24/7 they will know the exact status and even be able to view there physical miner by Serial number and rack number so that in the event a client or investor ever wanted to visit their miner they have that option.

The last feature would be allowing the average daily payment by TH/s from actual miners to be automatically updated much like a widget to out public website www.kss.global

Those Dev's/ programers that are interested or any other features that the community would like to see in a project as such would be greatly appreciated as well as feedback. Our goal is to create a open and transparent program. Not hide behind websites and google ads like other Mining Companies.

Thank you all in advance.

Mycelium is good for the average user.

To split payments on one transaction broadcast go try Electrum. Works great I use it for my clients.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ANTMINER D3 - Hacking, Reprogramming , Disassembly , Debugging, OS change on: September 30, 2017, 09:27:18 PM
ROI is still good and better than BTC miners that are available from BITMAIN. My company does commercial mining and we are still getting orders once or twice a week for D3 Kits.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: any reliable colo in usa for antminer need relocation to sent antminers on: September 30, 2017, 09:08:45 PM
My company just started wiring up our third location. Currently accepting COLO assets for the Virginia Beach VA area. let me know if i can help.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No longer profitable - ETH mining? on: September 30, 2017, 09:02:20 PM
I agree that Eth mining is no longer profitable unless you got in a while back. Previously my company KSS Global, would sell one or two rigs a week now we do more in hosted devices for clients more than anything.

But I also agree that if you are not in the ETH game by now DO NOT ENTER. ROI is too low at this point unless you are doing it on a commercial scale.
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ANT MINER S9 Socket connect failed: Connection refused on: January 07, 2017, 02:04:40 AM
Odd. S9 now ship with software that, on a cold start, tests each board for an "optimum" working frequency. This can take at least 20 minutes before it shows actual mining, sometimes longer hence why it's recommended to check it after an hour.

Was this a new machine or a used one?

Also, and I know it's a pretty hefty read, but there's lots of info in the actual S9 thread.

Batch 11 machines that had previously run with no issue until i had to restart due to a board acting up.
16  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ANT MINER S9 Socket connect failed: Connection refused on: January 06, 2017, 05:41:17 AM
Is it still auto-tuning? Turn it on, don't touch it for an hour, and then check how it's behaving.

Auto tuning? i powered it up and let it run for 4 hours and still nothing
17  Bitcoin / Mining support / ANT MINER S9 Socket connect failed: Connection refused on: January 06, 2017, 01:28:53 AM
not new to bitcoin but all of the "go to" remedies are not working...SMH

I power down the PSU. i use a EVGA SUPERnova 1600W G2.
Power on the PSU let it run for 20 or so min and ill get the Socket connect failed: Connection refused on the Overview page.

From there ill do a standard reset hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Nothing happens.

So i do a hard reset completely powering down the unit to then power back up with the same issue 20 or so min later.

Next i did a firmware update per Bitmain's Tech Support.

Used the current firmware listed on the website to update the firmware still nothing.

From there i was directed to Flash the "fix firmware" then flash the updated firmware again, still nothing.

All of the updates and fix firmware flashes are being done without restarts.

Any guidance on the matter would be of great help.

Thank you in advance.

Interesting facility I'm curious as to if there could be a partnership to replicate what you already have done in other locations.
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S9 Possible Bricked Controller Bounty on: November 27, 2016, 01:26:03 PM
How about I ship a controller to you.

or contact bitmainwarranty.com  for a spare one or two controllers

https://bitmainwarranty.com/shop/

you need the 98 dollar part and the 20 dollar part. on that  parts page

they would also repair your controller

I have every intention of buying a few spares. I'm working with the warranty now. Just figured i would see if there was a solution beside going through the warranty that anyone knew of.
