681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: February 13, 2017, 04:01:04 PM
Can someone tell me how to remove a driver version totally from the pc? I mean I updated from 16.12 to 17.1 and from that point I can't update, only if I remove the AMD app, but something still remains. After I updated 17.1.1 to 17.1.2 latest version of claymore exits without any error message, but 11.0 works fine. Rolled back to 16.12, the problem still remains.

You can use the AMD Clean Uninstall Utility http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx.
DDU-Display Driver Uninstaller. The folder on disk-C/AMD you can just remove.
Thank you guys, sorrily none of them worked, looks like only a total win reinstall can help. :S

Use DDU: http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,20.html It's always working Wink
I tried exactly this one, after that installed 15.12: claymore 11.0 worked 11.1 not. Tryed to update to 16.12 -> update was partially successful, the AMD software was on 16.12 but the driver version still 15.12.

Quick note. If you're spending actual time out of your real life to just come to this thread and say it's worthless, think about what that says about you as a person and about your own life. Just something to ponder.
It took 6 seconds to make that post. Maybe I can bear it. Still worthless.

Well yes, there is always a chance to break your card of course. The higher the temperature is, bigger the chance to break it, we know that from high school thermodynamics. But if you have like 2-3 years guarantee for a card, you can be sure about that it will last that long at least, but experiences show that they last much longer than that. Of course you can get a bad one if you don't have luck, but this is silicon lottery. I still have my old cards, even the nvidias, and still working till this day. If you are a bit paranoid, you can always rise the fan usage, a $5 fan is much cheaper than a new card.

Well since everyone is talking about mining I was wondering.
Does mining reduce your life of your card or is this just myth ? I know the cards are made very well which is why they so expensive so is mining every night while you sleep going to effect anything ?
with proper cooling you should not worry about it.

Finally i'm using 15.12 drivers and sgminer work, but i think the hashrate is bad (250-270 Kh/s) with my R9 380X.

With Gpu-z, only 52W consumed (120W with eth) but load at 100% ... strange
Try to increase the intensity.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 10, 2017, 05:53:18 PM
i dont understand that market why are people selling at cheap prices instead of pushing it up i mean its the same with bitcoin once the price fell down many people are selling sure its normal at deflation bubbles but in cryptocurrencies its about pushing the price up in the speculation sector or not?

1. miners gonna dump. whatever the price, they just don't care. It's all about mining ROI, wich I guess is very small at the moment.

Miners will leave this coin, the hashrate is already low.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: driver on: February 10, 2017, 05:50:32 PM
I'm using 16.12.2 with 2x 7990, 1x 7950 and 1x 7970

arrrrr mateys!! ships are sailin!
Thank you, It seems I have to go back to 16 isntead of 17. New drivers are bad anyways...

Someone whose using sgminer could tell me the driver/opencl version?

693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 09, 2017, 11:44:47 AM
I know. It was sarcasm. I was called an low life yesterday for telling people to think twice before buying, becuase you know wallstreets wants UBQ and UBQ to the moon and so on..

people having over 20k coins and they expected to sell for 100€ each xd
Sorry then, I know there are members with functioning brain in this thread. This whole shilling was disgusting with all these fake trading posts and brainless hype. Maybe this coin would have a chance, but not this way. Devs can thank to gembitz that this coin will be stated as a shitcoin for a life. Thank God I stopped mining after one night.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 09, 2017, 11:30:03 AM
When is PoS planned for?

^ethereum has always been a POS coin  Wink  lulz

Uh...no, Ethereum is definitely PoW, and has been since launch.

Latest blogs from Vitalik put Casper (PoS implementation) ~1 year away.

POS = piece of shit :-D

Nope

The Casper-POS is very special, it solves the crypto-currency problem of scalability of transaction numbers.

Consequently, it's going to have a good market effect, when implemented.

^vitalik made his money and split! ~ that fool don't even post here no more!..he's lost his troll!! :-D #go-ubq

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.  You think because he doesn't post in bitcointalk he isn't working in the project anymore? A simple google search will give you tons of recent activity lol. ugh... if you're an example of ubq community, I've just lost interest.  Cool

^vitalik is so shady he don't even post on here! Why this is where he ANN the coin before it forked! ==UBQ==has a good chance because the dev team is transparent ! :-D UBQShares are going to take over here UBQ is the new ETH! ~face it Wink

lol sorry kid, but if you're really judging a project as large as Ethereum on the fact that Vitalik doesn't post on a forum thread (keep in mind Ethereum has it's own forums, like any major project will), well, I'm by no means motivated to listen to anything you might say.  Cool  You're literally shooting your reputation in the foot, along with UBQ.  Grin

^vitalik is in hiding !! if he had some great community spirit he's be here interacting with us! It's sad he cannot get off his high horse and do something receptive to the real bitcoin community...what a shame alienhead or fearless leader !!  Cheesy

Uh, no he's not.  You obviously just spread fud without doing any research.  Only about a week ago he was in Singapore giving the keynote speech on Metropolis and other upcoming developments.

I prefer project leads to actually be doing shit, instead of posting about doing it on public forums. Interested community members can easily find such things (you shouldn't depend on posts in some thread to get all your news).

https://www.meetup.com/Ethereum-Singapore/events/236848702/

^we are still trying to sort out the ETH/ETC move he pulled...

===> UBQ has a chance of getting it right from the get go !  It's just like ethereum just based in U.S.A. with legitimate trusted community.... ethereum is going to be no more ...ha :-D

Excellent sidestep of the conversation. We'll have to agree to disagree. Don't get me wrong, I've been watching ubq for a while now.  Just haven't seen anything unique they've developed themselves yet. I still believe Eth [currently] has the strongest potential of all alts on the market. As a developer, I really enjoy looking at githubs of the projects I invest in. Eth has some extremely talented minds behind it. The market can keep doing whatever a free trade market will do. I'll keep making my decisions based on the quality of "product" being built.  And that's worked out really well for me so far Grin

UBQ is going to put Ethereum to sleep ... Vitalik is already a made man(retired)

Cool
Yes, prices show this exactly.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 09, 2017, 11:11:01 AM
Damn only 0,04$... But you guys told me its the next bitcoin and i'm gonna get rich! haha.

Now that we know its a pump and dump coin lets go to the next new bitcoin!

Well, there were several posts about high amount of coins, estimated price, but no. People believe these shillers like gembitz. If you can't tell from his posts that he is totally retarded, and his IQ is way below 80... I have bad news for you boy...
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 09, 2017, 09:56:39 AM

699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 08, 2017, 09:17:48 PM
Weak hands are so funny. You math are stupid cause ubq team gave some more good news after that, and the project is growing. That means its totally underevaluated. See you tomorrow or in few days @10 000. Smiley
actually ubq team gave nothing new.
