Question regarding finding block
Now when a miner finds a block, does the block finder get an extra bonus for finding block?
I have always wondered that. i have never found a block i have been mining for 3 years and sucker to PPS until figured out p2pool and now your pool.

Well mixed results with the move to 2.0
Had to clock two back to 550Mhz and one has locked up or exploded or something, gotta wait till someone reboots it then catch it before it overheats again.
New firmware seems to run a bit hotter than the original B13 firmware.
Wish there was a way to keep the existing firmware and just copy the miner binary over. hmm.
yep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg17237291#msg17237291good luck on restarting i will not bother with this "upgrayedd" again until... maybe never heh, well its worth it if it helps find more blocks here imho I've got them running as well as they were before the upgrade now. Temps back to normal. These are all hosted, so gotta wait till remote hands do the reboot of the problem one. Those of you that have updated s9 to bmv2. Can you say whether or not hw errors are down? My 550 batch shows 10's of thousands of errors. I ran an s4 for 6 months straight with less than thousand errors. These miners really are a piece of work BR I have updated to V2 on all my S9s first and second batch. i do see improvements less HW error as before i was hitting very high numbers on HW errors a one week run would be 15k+ 12 days 30K+ I will check later and update this post as i should have sufficient amount of HW for 24hour run

....
I did see that actually but does it work? .... ... ( will not solve your micromanaging issues for the fans, but you can set freq how ever high/low you want). HI All, I just loaded two S9 with V2. Be patient!!! the route i have gone with is i first load the normal update, it took more than usual to come back so i loaded the upgrade fix and then the regular update for v2 takes about 15-20 minutes to come back to life. i upgraded two for now will run for about 24 hours and if all is good i will load my other 3... good luck

HI all i was interested in setting up a rely node for the Kano pool if you guys would like. i dont have great bandwidth 10MB but i can hoist a machine in my DC to support the pool if it helps
Nah, it doesn't really help much. Getting the blocks to the relay is the basics of getting them to other pools fast to reduce the possibility of orphans, without going down the needless path of SPV greed that most of the Chinese pools have - they may gain a couple hundred milliseconds at the most - their greed is beyond understanding - since it does very little if anything, except risk the bitcoin network due to their SPV mining. We get them to every single relay (both the old relay and the newer fibre relay) about as fast as is possible - quite literally faster than any other pool. Great information! thanks well anything to help just let me know

HI all, i have about 65 bitmain S5s that have been off to close to 8 months now. what do you guys think should i work on bringing them back up as i feel they are luck machines for some reson You should totally bring them back online! Look, you just mention how lucky they are and we finally crack that damnable Block! Imagine the Blockalanche we'll have when they're actually running on the pool! Bring it!! Ill see how many i can run im capped out at moment with my rigs and ibelinks. i am thinking to take the ibelinks offline for awhile and bring some S5s online. hopefully i can get about 30 online some time next week with the weather cooling off.. LOL @ blockalanche

Quick question
Should i set any specific difficulty under worker management screen?
It works best to let the pool pick the difficulty for you. great thanks

Got my 8 units of A7 Will fire 6 units later since I am waiting for Optimisers Boards. I have a question, the controller does not include a power cable?? Because mine did not come with it HI, what is the optimizer boards? These in the link below: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1698582.0interesting especially the remote network enabled reset switch. and this would enable us to use a IBM bladeCenter power supplies. Funny i was looking at getting this https://simplemining.net/ to manage remote reset and hard boots for my RIGs "mining ether and Zcash"

I was curious to try p2pool, did you have a bad experience? Not really, but i ran out of patience waiting for a block It is not the easiest to setup but once you get it working its pretty cool and feel like a big achievement!!. Only reason for moving away from it is not much information out there on how to tune it.
