You're quite welcome!

the 'new' website won't even recognize my username or any emails so I guess I've been had.

If so, you're not the only one. This is getting more and more scammy every day.

5  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Bounty]How to make a program in C# that can retrive hash rate of cgminer on: March 13, 2014, 01:05:11 AM
I will give a bounty to anyone who can show me in C# how to receive that current hash rate of a CGMiner instance. thanks in advance!

Is doing this through the RPC API acceptable? If so, it's a simple matter of reading some JSON. I could probably whip up an example for you.

Yeah that's fine. Let me know how much BTC is reasonable for the job. thanks for the quick response!

This isn't much of an effort because I had a few classes ready made. Please donate what you feel it's worth to you to Sean's Outpost at http://seansoutpost.com/donate/, they need it more than I do. Feel free to post the transaction after you donate, though :-)

I've uploaded a sample VS2013 project for you. You need to add JSON.NET from Nuget (or elsewhere) and please note that I only have a GPU rig available so you may need to create an ASIC and FPGA class similar to the GPU class I included. I've left some comments to indicate where. The format should be pretty straight forward and you can use the same pattern to pick up other properties from your devices too, like temperature, voltage, memory/GPU clock, etc.

No license or credit required, no support provided. It's all open-source and I've removed all built .exes. The file is about 8 kB.

If you don't have VS2013, just ignore the .sln file and open the csproj file in an earlier version. If you don't have any of those, all the class files are in the program.cs file.

7  Economy / Securities / Re: Leancy - Allegedly hacked by their host - Avoid deposits on: March 04, 2014, 10:32:13 PM
Leancy is another Ponzi scheme which promises to return you 150% of your earnings.

Hang on... You are surprised you're being scammed by something you know is a scam?

Koddos has been a reputable provider in the community for a long time, so the explanation is as fishy as the company.

You've been had.

PS: I have a bridge for sale. Awesome price.
8  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]R17x: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 <DZMC Exclusive> $130 / 40GHS on: February 26, 2014, 01:41:33 AM
I finally got my refund, 20 days after I initially requested it.

I recommend everyone nag as much as possible as that seems to have gotten the results I wanted. Submit negative forum feedback, resend messages, complain here.

No refunds as promised today.

Why am I not surprised.

I had ~15 refunds set to send, and blew up my windows install. Should only take me 1-2 hours to reinstall and update armory from a backup (I learned!), so some refunds will go out later tonight.

Check's in the mail, huh? We'll see in a couple of hours.

As if it should surprise anyone, still no refunds just a few hours before every refund submitted is due, even by their own timeline.

I've posted negative feedback for now.

I'm sorry it comes to this because it seemed to be an honest operation, but now it's turning into a scam.

I should also note that I requested a refund from DZMC on February 6 and from bobsag3 on February 7. The promise was that it would likely take a day, but up to 1.5 weeks, which is due in 4-5 hours, depending on timezone.

Still waiting for refund of 50 shares, requested February 8.

No, we'd rather not see you blubber on in the forums. Read them. Refunds started 11th whether you you like it or not, so its only been a week. bobsag3 had to rebuild his blockchain... which is not just a few mins delay. Blubber next week perhaps.

The refunds are clearly not processed in order, as many people requesting refunds after me have received their refunds days ago, the main difference being that I initially kept communication private whereas those that have received refunds sooner have been posting here.

Thus, I post here.

saved For people waiting on refund.

I have a request to list in date order. I will do that on monday.

I will not pull  refund request info from the r 17 thread. I feel that would make results not accurate.    for example 2 people said they want 100 share refunds  pulling that info and putting here would show 200 shares not refunded.  but for all I know they got their refunds and did not bother to tell me.

I suspect the DZMC people are good at what they do, however customer service and public relations is not what they do.
clearly... when you push back with questions, the thread becomes ghost town again...
To one of your other posts, I don't see where I am coming off as defensive I simply answered you the best I could by quoting a post that was made 2 days earlier that quoted how to request and when you could expect the refund to appear.

We all have day jobs which prevents us from being heavily active on the forums during the day, I don't believe anyone is expecting an answer to a question right as its posted. You continue to ask the same question and every time receive the same answer refunds can take up to 1.5 weeks.

you are right i continue to ask the same questions. as usual, no real answer, no real explanation. so:

i will repeat my question, so according to you refunds started on 11th (despite the other refunds earlier), will take one and a half weeks, i requested for a second time on 11th (despite my first one on 8th),  are you guarranteeing i will receive on 22nd latest? this is a simple yes and no question

Your refund was sent.

So is the working strategy to nag in public? I requested refund on the 7th too and with the final confirmation from me on the 8th, and have since sent reminders requesting confirmation from you that you have everything you need to process said refund.

I'd prefer to keep communication private but since it looks like I need to complain in public to get my refund, I have no choice but to join the hordes.

It's now been more than 1.5 weeks. I'd like my refund, please.

Just wanted to add that you need to retrieve your wallet.dat at least before the free trial expires, or anything you've mined solo will be lost.

Or, buy 100% of a Jupiter for about the same price.

20  Economy / Auctions / Re: Income property up for auction on: December 06, 2013, 03:16:18 AM
I'm surprised that no one is willing to take advantage of this opportunity. Especially with all the new bitcoin millionaire's. This is a great chance to own an income property that will pay its self off in 5.5 years. You will have a house with $50,000+ equity and a residual monthly income.

Take a look at what's being auctioned off in the other threads; most are things that are looking at pay offs in months, not years.

I like the idea, though, and wish you all the best. A year ago, I might have bitten. If I had, I would be kicking myself now for trading thousands of Bitcoins for a mere house. If someone bites now, they may be looking back a year from now and wonder why the hell they wasted 50 Bitcoins on a house :-)
