At the rate x11 miners are evolving it wont be long till there's at 1 th machine, is too risky, too many people getting burnt on machines that are only months old.

What are people getting on these with the dual mining eth+vBlake (veriblock)

Wish it came with 8gig memory

The b7 is an updated b3. The b3 was a disgrace, a very slow "asic" (1kh) that a 1080 could compete with. If bitmain eventually sell the the b7 they should offer some discount for all the b3 buyers from years back. We can only dream.

A major pool prob went down, reduced the difficulty temporarily.
|
|

Liquid cooling will prob be the next step in increasing efficiency, theres a miner that does 27th at 700w, whether its real we will see. Totally submerged.

Bitmain are clearing house, new x11 and scrypt miners just around the corner..Hopefully

The last refunds should occur today apparently, anyone been refunded today yet?

Your better off putting 1300$ towards a fpga, much more flexibility and future proof. Groes profits will plummet once this hits the market in numbers.

I tried that just then, hopefully I'll be successful too.😊

good glad your coin has come to you. I have not received any coin.
Same here

I didn't opt in for any upgrades on mine.. Should I have got an email to confirm mine was shipped?
Please PM me your order number and email I can check. Me too, I messaged u 2.

My order for the DR3 miners just arrived, YAY!!
Can it be overclocked?
|

Plugging in the numbers, it's $12/day revenue, $9 profit at 9 cents power.
Assume they ship 3k units, which increase difficulty by 25% over a month, revenue down to $9/day, profit $6/day. Seems like a 100 day payback investment, but whatsminer DCR shipping in 60 days.
Nah this will get wrecked.
nailed it lol people said the same thing on the Z9-Mini .. 1st batch buyers made out. -Matt The equihash algo is huge, and it kicked out gpu miners, dcr network hashrate is not as vast, only one coin to mine whIle equihash has many, z9 mini use little power, this does not. Decred already has asics, equilhash didnt. ROI will be harder on these. The question is how many of these dr3s were contributing to the existing network hashrate for "testing". There's also the possibility of a second generation of dcr asics from innosillicon, the d9+ was probably just an overclocked d9. If 44th can be achieved on the whatsminer there's likely to be something that fast around the corner. Bitmain are probably building their new dcr asics on their new 7nm chip process, which they will start to flood the network when they have finished milking us the dr3s. Plus if whatsminer mines on their 44th miner after they sold out a batch or two it won't be pretty in a month or so. Stick to miners that mine large major algos, eg sha and scrypt. especially in this market. New miners will come.

One algo, one coin, Not the most efficient, difficulty will skyrocket , not worth it unless you have free or very cheap power.

I got what I think is a batch 2, Z9 mini 5 days ago. However it has the Sat May 26 20:42:30 CST 2018 firmware and has the over clocking values instead of "Balance". It will overclock to 675, but is unstable after that. Averaging 14.9 KSols. I have only one Z9 on a bitmain psu, running 240 volt and it is drawing 364 watts with the fan on 100%, at the wall. Average temps 57-58c. The room it is in is not cooled and yesterday it was 95 degrees F in there.
The question is that it is getting 1000's of discards per hour, is this normal? On Suprnova at the moment. Good or bad?
Discards don't matter, rejects and stales do.

Can a member with a high trust post a link to the may firmware , bitmain has taken it down.

Does that work if the miner resets or powers up again? Do you have to type it all in again?
Once you do it, the "value" of the option you modified is written to the configuration files. It stays permanent untill you change frequency again or reinstall the firmware. <option value="750"> 750M </option> The value="750" field is the one that's written to the config files. The "750M" is simply what is displayed and does not matter. Sweet thanks now one will not run on 650 freq... could it be thermal cut off ?... It's a stability issue, unless your Temps are in the 80s,90s. I think bitmain ensured we didn't win the Silicon lottery , and picked only the most reliable chips for the z9, and not the z9 mini. Maybe if the 250 coupon was used , it made this worse too.
