We also need to see what the fall out is from the Gox situation, if it's confirmed. It could affect Neo in many ways.

Why should neo care about gox?

For starters, because Neo offer the type of security that Gox didn't (positive) but Neo's PR could be negatively affected by the Gox news if a big deal is made of it locally (negative). It's a PR thing first and foremost. Longer term, there may be other positive spins Smiley

Err, that's the end of Gox then...

It's good to finally have a Bitcoin security actually moving forwards. For too long they've been foolhardy ventures with little going on.

Now we have a project getting major national and international attention Smiley

There's a reddit comment that the Greek version of the site doesn't work properly on Safari. Also noticed some minor typos/grammar errors (mostly reported).

Looks good generally Smiley

Do the Cypriots on here think people will stash their cash in Neo? What will it take to persuade them?

I would like to buy Gox bitcoin by cash(or real bitcoin) through paypal. We also can choose taobao if you like. The rate we can negotiate, Pls contact me by godfreywu@189.cn

No one do this. I'm sure you all know by now. Sell GoxBTC for other crypto, nothing else. Anything else can be reversed, and frequently is on PayPal.

What I only need is to find a way trade by trusted escrow.

The transaction can be reversed days later. It's very risky, especially when there are people offering regular BTC .

A bit ahead of its time but cool anyway Smiley

I'm selling up to 100 goxBtc at 60%. PM me if interested. I successfully transacted 50 gox with daburone. I can send first if you have good stats or we can ise escrow.

FYI you can get 60% even considering the 2% transaction fees at https://www.bitcoinbuilder.com/ right now.

Not for that much in one go but some can be. Rate is quite variable at the mo.

23 BTC to spend on GoxBTC at a rate of 0.6 (edited)

WARNING: There are long term users here who will scam for large amounts, including Escrow operators. A lot of people got caught out by Projects a few weeks ago. He ran away with an awful lot of money after playing the long con.

I'd suggest doing transactions in chunks you can afford to lose. For the sake of a few more transactions it could save a lot of heartache.

I'm still curious ffssixtynine, what dog do you have in this fight, and how are you able to have the same info as Uyko?

Are you guys business accociates, or just friends?

He was part of the advisory board at some time. Ken didnt hear what the members wanted anymore so the board was crashed. But it seems ffssixtynine still knows some people to have a bit more info.

Yeah that was ActiveMining which is not something I have had anything to do with since early September. I'm not happy with their recent actions re: ukyo's shares or in general but I still hope it works out.

I am neither a business associate or friend of ukyo although I -have- offered to help out if manpower is needed or if he does anything in areas in which I'm experienced. I just want our money and prefer to be pragmatic. I've done the anger phase - it's not helpful.
36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Havelock Investments - Exchange feedback/comments on: February 16, 2014, 09:59:13 PM
I second the idea of having a fixed withdrawal-adress! Maybe have a two week time-lock and an email notification if you want to change the adress afterall.

This would impact the ease of use in a minimal way, while dramaticly enhancing the security.

Also, if the fixed withdrawal address is not mandatory, we need to also have an external wallet address that users set for proof of ownership, like Bitfunder had, just in case something happens to Havelock.

+1

I would also like to lock by IP and would like changes to these settings to take a fixed time period + require email confirmation if I so choose.

All optional of course.

I spoke to him on Skype earlier. Things are progressing but my guess is it'll be a fair while yet unfortunately. As has been said before, some things are out of his hands and they impact the time period involved. Don't ask me how long or if it will work out because I don't know. As long as I feel there is progress then I'll wait.

38  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: February 11, 2014, 06:16:21 PM
1 share is 1/16,000,000 of the profits from the entire group of companies. Your shares are bound by a contract that we deliver said profits to everyone who owns those profit shares.

Is that still true with the removal of the other shares (when it happens) or will that number change permanently? Subject to future share re-issuance...
39  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: February 11, 2014, 05:56:41 PM
I was also under the assumption that owning 1 share gave a person a 1/16,000,000 stake in Neo&Bee itself - equity in other words. Is this not the case? Do my shares actually mean nothing?

The shares are profit shares, not equity in the company. Common misconception in this securities section.

Danny will be more knowledgable than me on this but aren't they still classified as tradable securities though? And the SEC doesn't mind reaching out internationally if it really wants to.

What have you got to do with it that you can't say anything for legal reasons?

Why?

Who's legal reasons?

What legal reasons?

You're defending an 'example' of Uyko losing the funds. Sounds like you know whats going on, and that Uyko actually did lose the funds.

You're talking about it like you're involved.  What the shit is going on here?

I'm not cracking a narnie here ffssixtynine, but I am demanding an explanation.

That's ok, you should check my post history in this thread for my story though. It's all there.

I have not said anywhere that Ukyo has or hasn't lost the funds, but -he- has said they are not available and that weexchange has no assets. That means weexchange does not have the funds at this point in time, for whatever reason.

I agreed to put my own neck on the line by posting in public for one reason only - to have an independent party provide a viewpoint from a position of knowledge of what was happening at the time. Since I raised the alarm in the first place, I hoped that people would see my as unconnected. It has certainly not been a fun experience thanks to certain individuals who specialise in abuse, but it was my decision, not anyone else's.

So, to be absolutely clear. I am nothing to do with weexchange. I was the first person to properly raise the alarm (reddit, irc). I am working only on information told to me by Ukyo and/or Danny. I am aware of what happened in November but nothing since then. I am one of the mid sized creditors and am aware of people owed much larger sums.

To the best of my knowledge, the only way any of us will see any more money is if Ukyo succeeds in what he was trying to do at that time.

To the best of my knowledge, Ukyo did not steal or use the funds.

To the best of my knowledge, certain factors make it impossible for Ukyo to know how long it will take to finish what he is doing due to other factors.

To the best of my knowledge, at the time it was problematic for the full truth to be revealed without potentially damaging what the remedy was. I do not know if this is still the case and I would like the details to come out. However, even when they do, it's not going to stop any number of conspiracy theories, the only thing that can be done is for us to be repaid.

Oh, also neo didn't have any money in there, Danny did.

Until I can speak with someone to find out the current situ, there is nothing else I can say.
