121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 13, 2018, 01:56:11 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Yes, there are altcoins today that is showing some potential on its value that it might grow up and the next few years and become the next bitcoin. I believe on ethereum even before and now that the price already reach $800 dollar, i still continue to invest because i believe that someday it might surpass bitcoins.
the development of ethereum for a year is more bolted than bitcoin, and I'm sure that another year marketcap ethereum and bitcoin will be the same then ethereum will leave bitcoin, and I agree that ethereum is a very profitable investment besides bitcoin.

This may happen but we can't make 100% sure about this. Being a good coin, or being a better one than bitcoin doesn't shift that coin on the top of bitcoin automatically. This is about the market perception of people mostly.

124  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: January 15, 2018, 02:51:50 PM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
i guess paying tax is beneficial too.
because it helps the poor.
but sometimes Government just use that tax to corrupt us people.
there is no perfect service.
even Donation to the isolated In our country government still Corrupt that donations .
even relief goods ..
Most of it's for the poor, road repair and for the foundation the security forces of a country. It seems clear that taxes flow there but there are people who commit crimes in a government that take part that is not for him, corruption everywhere and even in my country leader who eradicate corruption but he is corrupt as well.

Tax is important for a country or working state mechanism, but this is not something to judge in crypto world. I mean they ask why some people accept to pay tax for their crypto. This is something mandatory, they don't want to pay but they pay the tax anyway.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Candy (CDY) on: January 14, 2018, 01:09:17 PM
where you buy cdy
is cdy fork of bitcoin?

You can't buy it, it's a fork of bitcoincash. I'm opposing this type of forks which we actually don't need. It's just to create another useless hype coin on the market, I don't see any other pupose on this.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: January 13, 2018, 08:08:09 PM

I do not know if it's fair but it's the fever of the moment, so maybe they'll take advantage of it
I think it's fair yes, the problem in finding the bitcoin is tailored to what we have done, so we do not have to worry if our sustenance is confused with others.

I wonder your argument for saying the current fees are fair enough. They're not fair to me and the amount of money you spend for performing a regular bitcoin transaction is way too high at the moment.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 12, 2018, 04:08:24 PM
the value of the ether in its functionality, the value of bitcoin in its popularity

This is true.

BTC will keep dominating crypto because many investors are still betting on it without even realising the potential altcoins might have. But that is changing really fast and BTC is losing dominance. Maybe in a couple of years we can see ETH in pair with BTC.

I can't say this is wrong, but the value of bitcoin in terms of an investment tool is different than any other coin. This is coming from its history. Despite all, ethereum's success is constant and it's still growing nicely.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 12, 2018, 03:52:31 PM
It is so impossible to trade without any single loss.  But the thing is we can compensate every loss thru average down. So do not trade the whole money 100%. Always trade in portion. One more thing do not trade using margin if you dont know how to manage it.
Yes I also agree that to experience some loss ( minimal loss)  is a good teacher to becoming a wise trader. But of course do not make it a habit. Any loss should be compensated by another trade to recover from such loss. You should develop a your own technique when you got familiarized with the trading. Learn to distinguish indicators for the price dump and pump like reading the graph. Everything is a cycle.
trading without loss is just an impossible thing. although you always benefit you must be ready to accept losses, if we are in the world of cryptocurrency we can often get a loss and we must think how to make a profit. that's normal and loss will give us an experience

Exactly. It's foolish to expect there is a way to trade without any losses. That's basically a part of trading that you just need to cope up and learn to live with. Though of course, eventually you'll learn to minimize those losses with the right decision making

That's impossible as you also pointed out there, and traders really don't need loss-free trading. They can generate a good income by losing and earning at the same time. The important one is the profitable result at the end.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: January 11, 2018, 05:35:33 PM
Why would they crash? there has been a little dip today, but it was not a crash, of course not, it was just a little dip that happened because of fud.
Everything is recovering now, in fact, i bought some Elixir at $1,15 each, and now it is upto $2,10 each one.

We mainly don't see major crashes on the market. Now the crash type changed, crashes are taking place with intervals of different price meltings. The price melts 5-10% a day, and then once again the same happens. In total it's like a crash.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: January 11, 2018, 05:06:06 PM
For me it's a hybrid of both an asset and a currency. It generates me wealth and can be spendable for goods and services so it's a currency that can be exchanged.

This is the most accurate estimation about bitcoin. It's neither a currency, nor an asset. The combination of these two, coming up like a hybrid model to the modern economics.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 11, 2018, 04:55:05 PM
By the way all the countries are banning ICOs, I don't think that ICOs are gonna survive in the coming years but I think that it's not gonna die in 2018, it's gonna take a few more time for the people to know that not all ICOs are worthy of investments.

It's not going to die clearly, it's a concept that attract high demand. You may love ir or not, but some people see ICO as a way of getting rich. That's why they will keep investing in different ICOs.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple going to overtake bitcoin ? on: January 11, 2018, 02:17:31 PM
Those days ripple is doing really well, it has more than half of bitcoin market cap and has 19% market dominance.
I hate ripple as a cryptocurrency as it's centralized, now seems that ripple is the queen, not ethereum.

That really is making me upset but I want to hear your thoughts.

I know ripple goes into the moon the price in the coinmarketcap but i don't believe ripple overtake the bitcoin price in the market price bitcoin are now in the stable price into 13 to,14k usd movement for the ethereum i know this year as the prediction hoping to uprise in the market because now is the year for altcoins moving up the price but nobody can overtake the king.

In sense of what will ripple overtake bitcoin? With fully centralized structure, with unknown supply? I don't think so. Ripple bring some value to the markey, but this is very limited if we go more detailed on it.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does every mainstream media article on Bitcoin end in negativity? on: January 11, 2018, 01:50:56 PM
The MSM will rarely if ever print something positive about Bitcoin, but when its price goes down they make sure to put news about it right on the front page:

Bitcoin falls as one of the world's biggest cryptocurrency markets considers a bill to ban trading

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/10/south-korea-official-reportedly-readying-bill-to-ban-all-cryptocurrency-trading.html

Cryptocurrency markets are tanking after news of shutdown in South Korea
http://www.businessinsider.com/cryptocurrency-market-plunges-after-reported-crypto-exchange-raid-2018-1

You hear that Average Joe, they're going to ban ALL crypto trading in South Korea!

Sell it all now! Run very very far away!

Very well said actually, most of the articles coming from them ends in the same result, just in order to panic people so that they can take wrong decissions and the tension on the market increases.

Very similar to China's summer action.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 11, 2018, 01:36:34 PM
I think with saving then we have made life become assured and can make us sleep and eat quietly, but with investment then the future will be better because our finance will improve.

Investment is a part of saving. Without saving money, you can make investments because there is no free capital present for you without saving some money. They should be done at the same time. No need to differ them from each other.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: January 11, 2018, 01:21:07 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

Everything has in its own end. But I guess Bitcoin won't belong that. Because I believe that it will upgrade soon for a better transaction and for a better way of communication.

No, it is not too late to invest here. You can do invest now and then. But have a good tempo when you do invest and make sure that fees are low .

Yes, it has chance that bitcoin will down and be ready for that.

Not everything has an end, something just changes its form and turn into another, better form. This is called transition, it's not one thing dies and another thing borns. It's a progress for bitcoin.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 11, 2018, 12:43:41 PM
Definitely yes!  I support ethereum and I use ethereum a lots also.  Ethereum is a very good alternative to bitcoin and the ethereum platform is working just fine.  There is also beautiful price increase been witness send my portfolio into green. I think ethereum will perform very well this year

It's not reasonable to stop our support to ethereum. It's an amazing platform with smart contracts and unique blockchain type. The entire community benefit from ethereum's blockchain in their token generation events.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k USD in February? on: January 11, 2018, 01:04:15 AM
I don't know if it can hit 2k in a month's time but anything is possible, look at what happened to coins like Ripple and Cardano in such a short space of time. I think Ethereum has plenty of room to grow and it all depends really;y on how much new money comes into crypto and who actually wants to back ETHEREUM TECHNOLOGY and projects as well as just buying the coin for speculation purposes. All we can do is look back on this thread a month later and see what transpired.
posibility of reaching $2,000 is indeed.but not on this soon.febuary is too near and as far as what the ethereums movement now maybe before end of this year it will hit $2,000 .

Ethereums has a good project and team and in my opinion he deserves that value of even mor than that.

During the last week, ethereum performed very well honestly. This couldn't have been better than this. It's finally moving to 0.12 btc value so that it can get old, bitcoin-based all time high value there.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: January 11, 2018, 12:13:55 AM
There is a future of bitcoin, early year the value of bitcoin is so dip unlike now thousand of dollar the value of bitcoin. Many people love bitcoin so they make an investmest because they can see their is profit from bitcoin.
Bitcoin is growing its network of people and investors are very much attractive due to the development of bitcoin which makes them buy more and resulted to a price increase. If only there is no some kind of price manipulation, we could have already seen the rocket of price but now it has dump after it reaches a new ATH but I am confident this price can recover and it's good for short term trade if we wish to make instant profit.

Bitcoin is most probably the strongest coin of the whole market. But we shouldn't neglect other coins as well. We need to find and value other good ones in addition to bitcoin. This way, it maximizes our success.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: January 10, 2018, 11:58:08 PM
Bitcoin have gone so many ups and down. He survived when its price is still cheap, and now having a high-demand value, then I have a strong feeling that Bitcoin will survive specially many country are now in favor or supporting Bitcoin.

Some newbies who are fall in love with trash altcoins are claiming that bitcoin won't be able to survive next years. This is funny to hear such arguments from them. They're probably drunk of altcoin profit they made on december 2017 and this month.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: January 10, 2018, 11:46:29 PM
Many people out there don´t believe that Ethereum can be a long term hodling, they simply use it participate in ICOs, sell and buy bitcoin again with the profit.
I don't believe that many are not believing that eth is a good investment for long term holding. Seen those smart contracts and most of the ICOs are generating ERC20 tokens so it's use and value grows a lot for the past years.

Do you think that may change this year and ethereum can be seen as the choice to hodl?
Since before there were too many people already that chose ETH as a coin to HODL for long term.

Ethereum is the most efficient product on the market with bitcoin. Ether's infratstructure is very vital for startup companies to raise funds for their development roadmap.
