I tried to do the trick where you just copy over a version of your Bitcoin Core ~/.bitcoin folder from before the fork date (so you don't need to resync the entire blockchain, this worked for the Bitcoin Cash fork) and it did not work for me here with Bitcoin Gold.
Should it have?
Yeah, that didn't work for me either. The best I could come up with was bootstrapping from my Bitcoin node (running and listening on the default port 8333). The command I used was $ ./bgoldd -rpcport=8339 -connect=localhost:8333 -bootstrap -skiphardforkibd
This took about an hour. I was able to check my progress with: $ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 getinfo
Working for me using -bootstrap, lets hope i can sync with the network in next few hours, so that i can start a mining a test pool for mainnet |

If anyone has experience in setting up a Cryptonote-Universal-Pool help would be greatly appreciated. I'm working on getting a pool ready for XDN and I have the VPS up and server is stable but when a miner connects the node gives error:  Error: Failed to parse block at Object.BlockTemplate.nextBlob etc I saw someone else had a similar issue here ( https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/1603/cryptonote-universal-pool-stratum-authentication-failed/4386#4386) even though they are talking about Monero. I tried using LucasJones's version of cryptonote-utils and it fixes the error server side when miners try and connect but then the miners get error "Stratum Authentication failed"...any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. EDIT: It seems that I need to go without the LucasJones revision (as that is some sort of address authentication error on top of the real errors). The blob error seems to be due to old code interfacing with XDN after they added merged mining. Would like to get this fixed ASAP if anyone knows how. what is the OS , pool version and nodejs version I think i can solve this issue. PM me or catch on ryver  |

Something is happening. Volume is increasing on exchanges. 90% market history is buying. Hopefully XDN will follow the path of BCN, it has better tech than BCN.
Atleast dont compare XDN with BCN, BCN is also referenced as scam largely, XDN is much much better coin with far more responsible work done by the dev ( at-least XDN dev comes back and respond once in a while ) |

Certainly now everything has to be put on sale and mostly its going to be ban in India in coming time as per the reports it seems. But on the other hand was just wandering why will people now buy rigs till the time govt clears the stand  Govt not going to Ban cryptocurrency, it will make their life difficult by banning cryptocurrency, they will soon regulate it, lets just say if they ban cryptocurrency, but they can not ban mining. |

$300 is way too low to start mining business, you need a computer which cost $300, + a Good GPU , lets just say you buy an RX480 at $300 it will get you 0.5 eth, thats just $50 at top, dont forget you need a system to support gpu, electricity bills, internet costing, that is way too much expansive then $300, you atleast need $1500 to get a small rig and then start mining otherwise use your $300 to invest in altcoins, and make profits from there, once you go over $1500 think about start mining |

If BTC forked, It will be a setback for the bitcoin, it will instantly loose its value or gain depending on how either sides acts,
at this point for time, no one is sure to tell if it forks or not, clearly segwit will not get 95% support, neither BU gets 75%,
so if you are really sensible and you would wanted to go long, hardfork is not an option for BTC
split in the network will also have less difficult to mine the coin as hash rate will be divided between 2 chains
at the end if hardfork happens one coin will die eventually and one will rise.

that is something you can only try if you have so much extra money, you may get lucky if you bots makes some profits, but without human intervention bots will always make a loss, only possible way to make profit is to watch market closely, research your alts, and trade accordingly OR Make your OWN AI with lots of money which can only think about Strategies Read and Interpret News, does research and make moves accordingly |

If you are not storing any sensitive data then you can use shared preference
besides shared preference will only be accessible via the application, other application can not use those store data
to use this data you might want to implement some api integration or services
