141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 13, 2019, 11:50:47 AM
Its because the project you promoted is a shit project, stop fooling yourself some bounty projects are just garbage tokens, i have learnt my own lesson this year, now i only promote projects that makes sense, they can still fail but better than promoting repetitive project ideas or no real use case projects
Many new projects only repeat ideas and have no real use case. And I think today many people are choosing to invest in projects that have real use cases and if we are often tired of new projects or feel that this new project is a waste of time, it is better to invest in top coins and trade than bounty hunting.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: December 13, 2019, 09:27:21 AM
Projects that have potentials can die at any time if the teams are not active and its true that its same with fake projects as well, no project is scam until they actually turn scam in crypto world, either ways do not judge any coin, the least ones you expected to end badly can actually do better than those you are focusing on
The team behind the project does have an important role to develop the project that was delivered and no matter how good the project if you have a bad team then over time I think the project will disappear. For me, projects that have failed because softcap has not been achieved and projects that cannot develop what they are carrying out are bad projects and are a waste of time.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold and Crypto on: December 13, 2019, 06:55:36 AM
Nowadays gold and crypto is a long term so those want good profit, buy some Bitcoin and invest long term because crypto make more profit on shortly. But gold is a forever growing coins and it will never dump on gradually so those are trying to secure investment for long term, Both Bitcoin and gold are golden opportunity in current economy.
To be held in the long run I think that's the right thing. But there is a difference between gold and bitcoin, bitcoin can suddenly decrease or the price can suddenly decrease and also suddenly rise, it is difficult to estimate when the right time to sell and buy while gold I think the price from year to year has increased even just a little.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 12, 2019, 03:29:28 PM
It often happens to be ignored, maybe the developer is still looking for a solution for how to distribute to the bounties and airdrop so that their tokens do not go down, so the developer is always delaying and not keeping his promises.
But if you are patient in waiting for sure they will distribute at the right time.
When does a project like this annoy the hunters because they always devote the bounties.
This is indeed often the case for bounty hunters where there are delays in distributing tokens and for some reason the team behind the project being followed explains the delays and after the tokens we receive we often feel that what we get is worthless or arguably the price is very far below.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner needs advice for portfolio on: December 12, 2019, 10:12:49 AM
Hi everyone im new to investing in crypto.
I have informed myself quiet a bit in the last weeks and constructed a portfolio with 10 coins / tokens.
Since most coins are way under their average worth i bet on a big rise at least to their old average or maybe to their last ATH.

This would be the portfolio:

1. Bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. Ripple
4. LiteCoin
5. Cardano
6. IOTA
7. TEZOS
8. ChainLink

For the last 2 Coins to complete the portfolio i need your help.
I thought about those coins:

1. EOS (because China)
2. TRON (because China)
3. Waves (Russia)
4. VeChain
5. Steem (Very low atm compared to average / ATH)
6. Energi

Since i only want to include 10 cryptos for reasons of simplicity i dont want to inlcude them all.

I am not a day trader. I want to hold the coins wait for old ATH or new ATHs and then sell.

I am really interested in your opinion. Thanks in advance.
I will choose EOS and also TRON to add. But all of your own decisive decisions, choose based on observations that you make by analyzing and comparing one to another to look for excellence or at least to find out which coins have more potential and have a greater chance of being able to give you profits.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My research for spam coins/tokens on: December 12, 2019, 08:07:43 AM
I took part in some bounty campaigns from listed projects and I would not say they are scammers. A lot of them are still developing their products, but they are working. The chances of getting succeed is around zero, but they are not scammers.
the chances of success now in many projects are very low but they still exist. the situation on the market is difficult and if the project which is developing but it does not have any liquidity then this is a good sign
its rare to see projects success in crypto market now, most of them wer failed only in few months after ico or ieo finish , moreover if this projects based on token and create utility token. And also investors now blamming developers team when they could not listing token in reputable exchanges as investors want. And finally they dump token till have no trading volume.
so far many of the projects have failed to survive for a long time, apart from that the condition of investor confidence is currently reduced due to some history of fraudulent projects. it may take a while until further developments and for spam tokens there may always be due to poor developer capabilities
If we see there are indeed many projects that fail and arguably the cause is the number of scam projects that make it difficult for new projects to attract investors to invest in these projects to get funding and develop the projects they bring. And I don't think developers can be blamed because in my opinion they must have done their best and as much as possible if they really wanted to develop their project.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 12, 2019, 06:19:20 AM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

This is indeed necessary for the newbie. Many newbie's experience a lot of losses and failures in their investments because they invest based on what other people say or because they are tempted by what is said behind the project. Because I think many newbies don't understand and understand what cryptocurrency is and how it should be done so that they are not easily influenced by what other people say, it's better to take the time to read about cryptocurrency, how things should be considered so as not to be affected by the project scam
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason soon or not ? on: December 11, 2019, 03:11:45 PM
I also think so for the altcoins to be initiated immediately for price movements. Here's the chance to buy because the price is now again down even very cheap. Buy now and hold for long term up to 100% profit.
But remember, not all coins that you buy at low prices right now will make a profit for you. Still need to observe each coin that we will buy before making a decision to buy it, do not let you take the wrong decision or do not be too greedy to buy lots of coins because you think the price will rise if held in a long time.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: December 11, 2019, 11:43:48 AM
I don't think anyone would like to participate in a scam project but because they are not telling they are a scam and sometimes it is very hard to recognize, people are falling for them.
Yes, many people are trapped into sweet sayings by the team behind the project, which in turn can attract investors to invest in the project. To avoid this myself, I think it's better to invest in the top coins than to invest in new projects.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Selection of coins, your thoughts? on: December 11, 2019, 09:42:08 AM
How are other coins doing compared to Bitcoin? Not encouraging, right? So, why not focus more on the cryptocurrency that you feel safe in? You could Invest only small part of your crypto fund in other coins, especially those that are well decentralized and with potential to grow in the future. Or you could day trade those altcoins while holding (and day trading) Bitcoin & maybe few top altcoins.
Yes it is true, don't divide your money into lots of coins too much. But if you think those coins can make a profit and not make the expenses you are doing greater, then that is a good decision. And for bitcoin itself when compared to other coins I personally would prefer bitcoin or you could say 70% into bitcoin and 30% into other coins.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 11, 2019, 05:59:30 AM
The year 2019 came with diverse expectations from everyone. Some persons were of the opinion that the year would be better than the previous year, others had a negative view.
The year 2020 is around the corner and I would like to know what are your expectations as it relates to the market, Crytocurrency projects and the overall health of the industry.
Of course many people expect that 2020 will be a profitable year for everyone, even though we don't know what will happen next. But I personally hope that 2020 is better than now as there is good news about the development of coins and maybe like what happened in 2017 that is very beneficial for us all can be repeated again.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: December 10, 2019, 04:24:35 PM
Well maybe a lot of ICOs are scam but still there is some worthful I guess. It just can't be that all of the ICOs are scam. And yes, some developers need funds. It's like crowdfunding, but it's crypto crowdfunding. Invest on your own risk.
Yes it is true that not all ICO projects are scams, but for now I think it is also difficult to get good projects and the many scams make it difficult for some projects to attract new investors to get funding so that the project can run. And for myself I prefer to invest in the top coins for now.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 10, 2019, 01:11:27 PM
in fact no one will know the amount of altcoin that will last for the future. You can see there are thousands of useless altcoins or almost all of them are junk coins. but I think the top altcoin that is able to survive in this industry is altcoin which is widely used for investment. and the possibility of them still having hope to continue to live in the future.
As you said that no one knows what will happen later, we can only predict the possibility that can occur. It could be that altcoin which is currently on the top position will go down and the bottom will go up, it can happen and I think for now what we have to do is how we survive in any condition in the cryptocurrency market.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good advice or bad advice? on: December 10, 2019, 10:10:57 AM
It is easy to say than done when you are desperately in need of money. When that happens you will not care about saving because you need it desperately, it might be good advice but the situation will not let you do that. What I mean is, before investing your money and holding it. Always prepare or spare some money for your needs, instead of selling the majority of your holding and leaving a few altcoins why do not you manage your finances and then making a strategy so you can hold and live at the same time.
Yes it is true, sometimes what is said is far easier than doing. Sometimes we are too ambitious to benefit from altcoin and sometimes we don't think about our financial situation. It is true that we have to set aside some of our money to be able to continue to survive in crryptocurrency and be able to generate profits from it.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New thread for self-funded projects on: December 10, 2019, 06:55:06 AM
Hello

So nowadays less and less people trust ICO projects due to their past of scams and false promises. I would like to support projects that are self-funded and work day and night in order to make their project succeed.

I would suggest that we open a topic for self-funded projects where investors and members that would be interested can invest or at least check the project.

Self-funded projects do not have unlimited funds for marketing and promoting themselves like ICO's. Why not help them with project awareness?

After all, we all want to avoid scammers and unprofitable investments. I'm not sure if this is within forum rules tho.. (advertising projects)

Please tell me what you think, or if mods allow you can share self-funded project in the comments.

Thanks for your opinion in advance.
To avoid scam projects and false promises, self-funded projects will help us to avoid scam projects and can make investors unafraid to invest in a project that ultimately makes investors disadvantaged. But this will certainly make projects that seek funding from ICO will find it difficult to develop and difficult to attract investors so that the projects presented can run.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice to bounty hunters that wants to quit on: December 09, 2019, 03:18:04 PM
Lets all get used to this present bounty condition, forget about the past, the more you are expecting bounties to be like what we have seen in the past the more you will feel like quitting, once upon a time there are not too many scam projects in crypto space but after the All time High skyrocketing of crypto it became a target for scammers so right now you have to do the hardwork to make gains, no more easy money making for now at least, get used to it and adjust as you go because money was never meant to be made the easy way, till date there are many successful bounties yet upon all the bad projects mixing with the few good ones.
If we compare it to last year like 2017, it is clearly very different and it will make us feel that what we get now is just useless and worthless. Indeed, lately many scam projects have made many people disadvantaged but that does not mean that all new ICO projects will become scams, there are still projects that really want to develop their projects but it is currently difficult to attract investors so that softcap is achieved and can run the project .
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 09, 2019, 10:07:34 AM
I realy want to buy altcoin which coin can i buy to hold and make big project in future any idea tell me best profit coin to buy thanks.

I am glad that most people are not giving a coin list as a response. Op is obviously newb so let me start by saying that:

  • Anyone naming coins to you as a response is just shilling their own bags as people want to prey newcomers.
  • You only need to ask that question only if you are already familiar with most projects, and you are willing to study new coins in depth.
  • If you were waiting for response and you were going to invest because of it. You shouldn't yet invest to altcoins at all.
  • Study top 50 - 100 different coins by yourself without investing in fomo, start with the top marketcap coins, and after reading their whiepapers, you should ask advises for new coins, and those you should study as well by yourself
Things like this are important to be understood by newbie or people who just joined into cryptocurrency. Because most people will use new people to buy the coins they want and we know that the newbie will be easy to trust when he sees interesting suggestions and he will start to invest. So indeed for newbies need to at least understand in advance about cryptocurrency.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is over? Shut up! on: December 09, 2019, 06:58:04 AM
Many people keep saying bounty is over, the bounty has no future! I just want to say shut up your mouth, please. You know nothing. Bounty is still good, a regular bounty hunter is still earning good money from it. Just research this year. From the first month of this year, a regular bounty hunter got money from IRONX, VANTA, MiraCletele, Harmony, Coinhe, SERO, Tokoin, and so on. They are leading their life through bounty earnings. Bounty reward is not like before, you have to forget the golden time of it and try to use to with the present condition and keep doing good bounties. Good Luck Hunters.
People who say this are those who feel tired by participating in bounties because maybe they always get a scam project because they participate without observing the projects they are doing so they say that bounties are over and have no future. There are several projects that can provide us with an advantage, even if we compare it to 2017, of course it is far different, but here we must be able to survive and make a profit, regardless of current market conditions.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 08, 2019, 02:34:54 PM
Hi,
Need to know the best coin to buy.
Since last 2 years nearly every coin has struggle to keep up.
Suggestions on the future predictions.
Start/comment below

For me, I would recommend buying litecoin, bnb, ethereum and bitcoin. But it all depends on the decision you make, make your own observations about some coins that have been suggested for you to compare and find out which coins have more opportunities and have the potential to provide benefits compared to other coins.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish between good and bad projects on: December 08, 2019, 11:37:35 AM
Good project has some criterias. Good project will have clear motive, transparent deals, skilled team members. They will try to maintain good community support and important thing is they will try to follow through their deadlines, product development and roadmap. Missing deadlines, is a red flug. But sometimes unusual delay happens as the road is not that smooth
That's right, every good project will definitely continue to develop their project by following the roadmap they have prepared and a good project will always provide the best results for everyone who participates in the project, they will protect the investors who have invested in the project and always updating the latest news on their project to be shared with the people who participated in it and for ICO web rating I don't think it is the right way to judge the good or bad of a project.
