321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin? on: October 08, 2019, 08:17:00 PM
It's hard to invest in a new coin with the so many scam reports about new coins, they are promising a lot giving a new concept and making huge promotion about their coin, so you'll just invest in their coin
How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin?
It is true, the many reports about scam projects make us hesitate to invest in new coins and will have more to wait for or will prefer to invest in the top coins. I think everything returns to each of us, if we want to invest with a small capital into a new coin, of course it takes a really careful observation so that the investments we make do not fail. So, I think when we decide to do something, we certainly already know what risks or possibilities are what can happen later and we must be prepared with all the risks that exist.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: October 08, 2019, 03:26:00 PM
What the *eck is going on? we have many good projects coming into crypto space but they mostly end up failing, too many good new projects are dying as if they are been created to just die, what do you think its killing new good projects apart from scam projects?
If we see, recently many scam projects certainly make many people start to be more careful and even make someone unwilling to rush to participate or invest in a project. Indeed, not all projects are just scams, some projects are running according to plan and they are always updating information about the projects they bring to us all so that we can see how the development and effectiveness of the project.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Not a must to promote every bounty projects on: August 16, 2019, 06:09:59 PM
Its not a must to promote bounty project everytime

Many projects are just time wasters dont expect that you will keep seeing good bounty projects every month.

Good bounty projects might take months to show up in crypto space so of you cant find any good one safe your reputation till you find reliable bounty project that wont tarnish the image of your account, remember that promoting scam bounty project is dangerous and can get you a red trust on your btt account.

That's right. Therefore we as bounty hunters must be more careful before promoting and participating in the project bounties. And sometimes the advice of several people is needed to then we observe and analysis of the project as a consideration and comparison between existing projects and look for those that have greater potential.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: August 16, 2019, 03:19:30 PM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.
For me it is normal when the ICO fails because if the token is distributed it will not be valuable. Therefore, it is very necessary for bounty hunters not to be too quick in making decisions to participate in an ICO project, it is very necessary to observe and analyze the ICO project, what about the product, how about the team behind it, and what they will do to reach their target.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The three biggest mistakes you should avoid on: August 11, 2019, 03:08:50 PM

  • Panic Buy/Panic sell.
In both cases, you will lose your money
  • Ignore Capital management.
If you ignore Capital management you will be gambler not trader
  • Following a signal Without risk assessment or stop loss.
You will be like Jumping into the ocean without a lifeline jacket at, before do anything, look at your risk and reward and what your stop level is.
by this way you can set Your Own risk and know what you do.
These 3 things often happen in the world of cryptocurrency, and I think it depends on each person itself because everyone has a different way of dealing with a thing. Some people, when they see the price of the coins they hold, will choose to look at the cause and analyze it to predict the likelihood that will happen later, but some people will be afraid if the price of the coin is falling so they choose to sell it. So I guess that is already the personality of everyone and only that person can avoid it
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: August 10, 2019, 04:56:15 PM
why do people complain about the market situation? complain about the drop in altcoin prices? complain because bitcoin dominates the market today rather than altcoin?
yes, isn't every action you decide is the result of your research? if every decision you have made, you also have to believe in it.
yes ... but if you are not sure about that, it doesn't matter either, because it is your right, but remember to never regret it when you make other decisions that are more risky than the previous choice.

until now I still hold the altcoin bag and also bitcoin, I do not panic, do not complain, remain patient, and of course always confident of every action I have decided.
Complaining when the market situation is not in accordance with what is expected I think it is common and everyone has their own way in changing market prices. It is true that you say that what we do is based on our own research and that determines our decisions later. And for complaints, I think it is a way for everyone to express their feelings about market conditions that are not in accordance with their expectations.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: August 10, 2019, 02:55:37 PM
I've participated in so many bounty campaigns and invested on some tokens coming from ICO, but I notice that so many of these projects are not or stopped updating their Bitcointalk announcement thread but they are so active in their telegram channel.

Do you think this is good for a project in general, let's admit it, Bitcointalk topics always shows up in search engine like Google while on telegram you have to scroll a lot or wait for an answer and they are missing up some potential investors who first look on Bitcointalk for project that they want to invest in..
That's right. Some ICO projects do not update their ANN threads and are more active in telegram, for me personally ann thread is also quite important to be updated, to provide the latest information and news related to the ICO project and when the ICO is only active in telegram and pay less attention to ANN thread, it will be of less value to the team behind it.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign on: August 09, 2019, 11:16:33 PM
Can anyone suggest me a Good signature campaign to participate ?

Thanks !
I think it's better for you to increase your rank first, at least reaching jr.member in order to participate in the signature campaign. There are so many signature campaign choices that you can participate in, maybe you can also participate in the signature campaign that I'm working on or you will choose to observe and analyze every project bounty that you think has the potential.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: August 09, 2019, 04:26:56 PM

A lot in cryptocurrency market  think bounty campaign become not profitable this year.
Do you agree with this?
Please explain your opinion, let us know what you think.

Please do not forget to vote

If seen from the beginning of 2019 the bounty campaign is not very profitable, there are scam projects and projects that stop because the funds do not reach the softcap target, this makes the bounty hunters think many times before deciding to participate in the bounty campaign and that is what making the bounty campaign this year not so profitable.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all bounty hunters do research on projects on: July 02, 2019, 05:11:35 PM
Many bounty hunters are still promoting worse projects that have worse Whitepaper and teams with no past experience of how cryptocurrency works ,what makes a team pro?its their past history of achievements with other projects or companies but I'm still surprised that people are promoting very very worse projects on here ,the last one I checked hours ago has no team but its been run by one person or two ,no office address and the Whitepaper is not making sense at all and its like a copycat project but guess what? The bounty spreadsheet is already full of hunters.

I think the problems most bounty hunters are facing is entirely their faults ,bounty hunters are responsible for their end results because many never learn to read or do thorough research and later they will start complaining about time wasted of bounties.
I agree with you, it's true that many bounty hunters who participate to promote project and only participate without reading the whitepaper or rather without doing research first. Maybe they are beginners, so they don't know what to do to find a good project so they can make a profit later, so they just join and promote the project without knowing what project they are promoting. So doing research first is very necessary so that you don't waste time promoting bad projects.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your past experience will always be an added advantage on: April 07, 2019, 05:45:12 PM
Experience is very vital in life, either good or bad.
You might have encountered some challenges (while trading, investing or in the use of some crypto tools) in the crypto space, your manner of approach and how you were able to solve them or perhaps you could not, all these together can help you to make good decisions in the future.
Only the fearful will never dear to take a risk that will be an advantage to him in future.
This is a trending technology with a bright future. Learn more about it, teach others, make use of it and very soon, you will see it working for you.
Of course. Experience is a very important thing in the world of cryptocurrency for us to arrange steps forward and from that experience we can estimate how much risk we will get later and how to minimize the risk of large losses so that we can benefit later.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE REALLY NEED MORE STABLE COINS? on: April 07, 2019, 01:40:36 PM
Some friends of mine always lament  that 'we  need more stable coins in the cryptosphere' and I think that is highly achievable looking at the promising prospects that has been achieved by tether. It seems some upcoming projects are also promising to introduce stable coins. Is it possible to have more stable coins on the crypto market? What would really happen if we get more stable coins on the crypto market, would the volatility reduce?
I think people will argue to need stable coins because they suffer losses from the coins they have before or their coins keep falling and falling. But, in my opinion, the uncertain market price that can go up and down anytime is very necessary for investors to determine when the point where they will buy the coin when it's cheap and sell it when it's expensive, if the coin is more stable I think it will be a little difficult to get a big profit.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 07, 2019, 03:29:53 AM
Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/denaro-ico-raises-8-7m-and-goes-up-in-smoke/
Right. Many scam projects make people more careful or don't want to rush into investing. Do not rush to make decisions and do research first is very necessary, see the team behind it and how they will achieve their goals to minimize the possibility of bad things that can happen.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know the trustworthyness of a new coin? on: April 06, 2019, 10:47:33 PM
Hi people,
I am relatively new in this field. Having done some "trading" of alt coins in 2018, I would like to seek the opinion of more experienced traders and hopefully gain an insight as to how can I better differentiate coins with higher potential and coins which are basically crap.

Thanks in advance!
You can start by looking at how the team behind it, whether they are working hard for the coin and how they will be taken and of course you can see their track record. It's a little difficult to know which new coins have the potential and can generate profits later, it takes patience to continue to observe coins that we think have great potential.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A true crypto enthusiast must be courageous on: April 06, 2019, 05:35:26 PM
One of the limitations to become great in life is FEAR. You cannot succeed investing in crypto through fear, because it will lead you into making decisions without giving it the proper thought.
Every evidence or reason for doing anything in FEAR, is always false, which at the moment might appear real. It is later you would start thinking, you should not have done it.
COURAGE will make you see good reasons despite all odds or circumstances surrounding that situation.

So, whether you are a trader, an investor or whatever you might be doing in the crypto space, you would need courage in making some decisions, which although might not seem favourable at the initial stage, but will benefit you greatly in the long run.

NB: Courage only comes from what you already know, which can emanate from the time you have devoted for quality research and proper learning.
That's right. Sometimes people feel scared when they see the coins they have falling in price so they will make decisions spontaneously without thinking about it first and sometimes it makes someone regret a few days later. So, it is indeed brave in making decisions needed but still needs a reason that you think is to make a decision and do not make a decision when you are confused, think about what you do and then make a decision that you think is right to do.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still experiencing the bearish market? on: April 06, 2019, 03:08:14 PM
Of course bearish market still happened in the midst of minor pumps lately, and I wouldn't be surprised since those other holders grabbed the small opportunity of that price increase. However, no need to be afraid of current price downfall because it was just a natural fluctuations as part of bearish trend nowadays. Keep your faith and always have positive expectations in the future coming days.
Yes indeed it is necessary to do it, do not rush in making decisions when you see the price of coins that you have fallen, keep watching the developments in the market and analyze the possibilities that can occur later whether it can recover and increase or it will fall further so it is better to sell it for cut bigger losses.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you comfort yourself after receiving token from the bounty program? on: April 06, 2019, 01:26:23 PM
In this difficult market, the value of tokens is reduced very low.
So, how do you console yourself?

I first:
I calculated the number of tokens I received, then multiplied by the ICO price, followed by multiplying it by the current ETH price.
As a result, I received the corresponding ETH.
I took the ETH multiplied peak rates ($1500- 2017) And I told myself if ETH peaks (2017), I will get a lot of $. Haha!

For example:
I received 1000 ABC token.
ABC token ico price: 0.2$
Total received: 1000 * 0.2$ = 200$
Current ETH price: 150$
So I will receive: 200/150 = 1.33E
If ETH = $1500 is like 2017, I will have 2000$. Smiley)
That is a great way for us to entertain ourselves by counting and assuming if the price can reach the highest price like in 2017. And I personally, when I receive a token, I will sell it when the token is listing in exchange and then the proceeds from the sale will be invested in a coin that I think has great potential.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Hardwork on: April 05, 2019, 11:14:19 PM
If you would agree with me, a lot of things have changed I the world of bounty.
Back in the days of ICO boom, bounty was very profitable. You could engage yourself in just one ore two bounty campaigns in a month and be rest assured you would get a substantial reward, that is able to sustain you ahead of another campaign. The story now seems to be different.
We are now in a time where, if you are not care, even after attempting several bounty campaigns (say ten of them), you might need to wait for months before you could be adequately rewarded from just few on them. Sometimes you may not get enough to justify your hard labour and there are times you get nothing, which means wasted effort and time.

I have thought of this several times and one of the solutions I resolved on is simply intensive research and hardwork.
In order not to waste time in promoting scam projects, that at the end would not pay you or a project with no proper planning, that later does not succeed, you would have to learn how to do proper research and devote much of your time for it.
The reason you also need to work hard, is that you do not know when the reward of a particular project you have researched on would come, due to the general market condition. Therefore, it will be best for you to attempt several bounty campaigns. Not all that you see around, but at least four (4) good ones at a time.

If you really want to limit your complaints as a bounty hunter, then you have to do proper and intensive research on your own and at the same time work hard to get the best you could, irrespective of your rank.
Most people who just joined their bounty only followed the advice of others and they did not know about the ICO project they were promoting, and also most of them participated in many ICO projects without knowing about the ICO project. So, doing your own research to minimize your risk of getting a project scam is something you have to do.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: April 05, 2019, 09:52:41 PM
Stop thinking about the price for a while and think about the technology and adoption what is happening just now! More and more people are involved in cryptocurrencies, bigger and bigger partnerships are made everyday, better and better news comes everyday and price? Still same? It shows that whales are cumulating why other people who care about the price are selling them their cryptocurrencies for cheap.
Yes, the more people involved in cryptocurrency, the more partnerships that are carried out every day. But, in my personal opinion, price is everything for investors because it is undeniable that every investor wants to benefit from the investment they make and price is everything, from prices and market graphs every investor must have a strategy for when to start investing into a coin.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 05, 2019, 10:47:46 AM
This is actually my first topic on the bitcointalk forum, been in the crypto eco-sphere for some time now but didn't really feel the need to join this forum until lately. As a trader/ investor the market has taught me some pretty tough lessons and am currently in search of solutions. My question is when does one get out of a trade or sell off a crypto investment?. I used to be a sucker for the hold gang but recent experience has taught me that sometimes you just need to sell off some cryptocurrency even at loss and move on with your life. Examples of such include dragon chain. I bought at the top a year ago and because of the fact that i noticed they were constantly having meetups and news on their social media, i felt sooner or later the market will correct and it will escalate in price. Fast forward to today am rekt and my investment is almost 92 percent gone.
I think its important to throw this question open to the public because a lot of noobs are coming through and although this happens to be the best time to join the crypto space, people need to be educated that it won't be always rossy, you might need to get out of some trades before it gets you down the rabbit hole and into wretchedness.
So blockchain experts and crypto enthusiast when do you say is the best time to get out of a trade? or Dump a long term cryptocurrency you invested in? What level of loss can you take before you hit the panic button?.

I think everyone is trading to get income and profit from him, but sometimes what we expect is not in line with expectations and in that case of course we must have strategies and other decisions such as cutting losses so we don't get bigger losses and I personally will choose to cut losses at least 20 to 30% and of course based on what I observe that the coin will fall further so I have to make that decision.
