you are WRONG too I tried to run 10 amd cards under windows and worked fine do you have any experience building rigs ? modding bioses ( modding , not just changing mem staps) , modding mobo bioses ) or just reading articles about what possible and what not its really pita to set up , not a real plug and play solution Can you share some pictures of your miner running 10 AMD on windows 10 ? I would love to see that.

I have 9 GPU working but is a Mix of 8 RX 580 and 1 GTX 1070, I can add more GTX 1070 but zero RX 580 because windows 10 only supports 8 of each Nvidiai + AMD mix as far as I know.
The fact that you can see 9 of the Nvidia on device manger with no error is good start since we always see some type of error when adding more then 8 of the same.
Have you try with claymore 10 ?

I'm guessing your RX570 is a 4GB? As I wrote above, I tested it on a 470 8GB and did not change its hashrate. They Are 8 RX 580 8GB I'm overcloking using bios. I did try to overclock the memory and core using afterburner beta 4.4.015 as well as undervolt for one of my card and it took the new settings. I have my monitor connected to a GTX 1070 and use it as my main card for the monitor. Update afterburner 4.4.015 took the new under volt settings but it goes up and down. So I will stick to making the changes on my bios instead . Mate I just tried this on a 7x 570 4GB rig and the DAG issue is still there, as in, my cards don't hash any faster than before... When you update the drivers you also have to verify that your overclock settings are correct since this driver will change your setting to the card default. I change my default memory , core and voltage on the bios level that way I don't have to deal with any 3rd party applications. There is many tools in this forum to help you play with your bios like the polaris bios editor. I have been modding bios' for a long time ;-) Just seems like a big hassle to go reflash all my cards with voltages specific to ETH. I'd rather be able to set them with Claymore directly and just mode the timings through the bios. yea I get it. I prefer to spend one day changing all my bios so I don't have to ever touch it again unless I'm changing to a new coin that needs a different settings. I keep a copy save with each setting I want to use. Save me time in the long run.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASrock H110 BTC+ HELP with network speed
|
on: August 08, 2017, 01:43:01 PM

Guys,
I have over 10 asus z270-a's and decided to try the new Asrock H110 BTC+
After several hours i finally got this thing to boot properly(very glitchy at this point)
My issue is that the internet connection is super slow. I have researched it and it uses an Intel I219-V network adapter which of course a lot of folks have had issues with over the last few years in ASUS boards.
I have run the onboard diagnostics and it keeps telling me that the cable is bad or that the router and or switch is not set up properly.
Changed out cables, changed out switches etc...
Just wondering if someone has run into an issue with this network adapter in the past ?
Thanks in advance
Try connecting it directly to the main line(remove the router if using FIOS or connect it directly to the modem if using cable vision or similar setup) to troubleshoot. I had a similar issue with this board and I end up using a switch after the router just for it after I found that it was stable connected directly to the modem. I think the NIC on this board are buggy and needs help from a switch in my case.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux)

v9.8:
- added Vega cards support (ASM mode). - added fan/OC support for 17.7.2 (and higher) drivers. - fixed issue with -ttli and -ttdcr option for Nvidia cards. - improved support for systems with more than 10 GPUs, check readme for "-di" and "-mode" options description for details. - a few minor bug fixes and improvements.
Claymore's 9.8 + AMD driver 17.7.2 not stable for me. Voltage goes up and down. RX580 (MSI Gaming X 8GB and Reddevil 8GB)
