I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

I think the answer is: when bull market buy during ICO, when bear market but after ICO on exchange. But this is only for common projects. For best projects buy during ICO and hold! In my opinion, we should not buy in the ico phase because that is really dangerous, as in the present moment, the risk from ico is almost too big, potential projects can not shine and stand out among the crowd, most scam projects have obscured all the light. After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.
But if we think btc is a digital gold, the price should be like gold. Gold price is very stable, compare with bitcoin is far from stable. We don't know the future yet, if mass peoples are using bitcoin as their currency, then indeed it will be like a digital gold. Although I do not know about the future but I can guarantee that bitcoin can not be used as currency when it is not legal and accepted by governments, and when people compare it to gold, it's an irrational comparison. Bitcoin is never going to end.No doubt their is a downfall in market value but that doesnt mean to panic and sell your coins at low rate.Have patience and keep on holding your coins.Bitcoin will recover soon.Dont be afraid of such fluctuations.Try to invest as much as you can.Dont contribute to panic selling.Have trust on BTC.

Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
The market is really low this year that is why a lot of people are complaining that all of their holdings doesn't have any good price. Good thing that you have keep your job for you to support the needs all of your needs. Yeah, if someone was silly and gave up their job, concentrating for the crypto, they probably got a bad result, especially in the present situation, all activities are almost impossible to generate income, and daily expenses are still incurred. Could Ripple XRP replace bitcoin before it is widely accepted?
If ripple allows users to send money instantly and almost fee free, with a pretty and easy to use UI.
Plenty of money to burn on advertising and reputation building.
Business and Financial connections likely to get them accepted on large merchant sites.
Why would the average person have any interest in Bitcoin?
More important could Ripple become controlled by business or government?

I would not invest in Ripple as it is not decentralised, not open and there is no proof of work. Also supply could increase anytime. Also does the token not have a clear utility. If you can explain the utility please do so. Bitcoin will remain the elefant in the room. What I do not like about Bitcoin is the concentration of more than 90% of Bitcoin with the top 4 holders. Well, although I do not know too much about ripple but I see a lot of people complain and freeze a large amount of money in ripple when they invest in it, value and development does not seem so ideal, it can maintain the position as the present is really a surprise.
