Wo wird denn die Blockchain beim Mac gespeichert? Vielleicht hilfst ja zu löschen und dann nochmal zu probieren...

Hi,
Yesterday I installed a new HDD to my MBP. Then I installed OS Mavericks. After rebuilding my Computer with TimeMachine Backup BitcoinQT is not downloading the BC. Some other QTs (LTC, PPC, DEM) work proper without any failure.
My transactions and the Funds are there, but there is a message like
"Transactions may be incorrect. Maybe You or other Nodes have to Upgrade"
It's the 0.8.6 Client.
Where is the Location of the BC?
Any Idea what to do?

Hallo,
ich habe gestern bei meinem MacBook Pro eine neue Festplatte verbaut und dann direkt OSX Mavericks installiert. Nachdem ich alle Daten vom Time Machine Backup übertragen habe kommt jetzt eine Fehlermeldung in BitcoinQT oben eingeblendet:
Warnung: Angezeigte Transaktionen sind evtl. nicht Korrekt! Sie oder die anderen Knoten müssen unter Umständen (denClient) aktualisieren.
Meine Transaktionen werden richtig dargestellt, auch das (lt. Client unbestätigte) Guthaben. Ich hab ihn jetzt extra über Nacht laufen lassen, aber der Client lädt die BC auch nicht neu herunter.
Mit Litecoin und ein paar anderen QT gabs keine Probleme. Es ist natürlich der aktuelle 0.8.6 installiert und in der Firewall freigegeben. Ich hab jetzt auch schon zweimal neu installiert, aber keine Besserung...
Weiss jemand Rat?

Frage: Würdet ihr jetzt noch mit Positionen rausgehen?
Ich bin immer noch mit 2/3 meiner BTC drin.
Bin leider zu spät raus. Das eine Drittel, mit dem ich raus bin, steht etwa bei 500€ (also etwa bei 683$). Also etwa dort wo sich der Kurs gerade befindet.
Mich interessiert wirklich, was ihr persönlich machen würdet (falls ihr das verraten wollt).
EDIT: Mich interessiert letztlich, ob ihr eher haltet oder im FIAT seit oder - wie bei mir - eine Mischung aus beidem macht.
(Ach ja: Eingestiegen bin ich bei 10€.)
Ich habe heute Nachmittag nochmal ein paar bei 663 (Gox) verkauft und bin jetzt auch 1/3 in Fiat. Die 50% die Offline liegen werden nicht angerührt, aber so ganz ohne BTC würd ich mich inzwischen fast schon nackig fühlen. Deswegen hab ich mir ein paar Coins behalten. Wenns am Ende mehr BTC sind als vorher: Schön! Wenn nicht: Verkackt. Es ist zum Glück nur Geld. Man braucht es, aber essen kann man weder $ noch € noch BTC. |

For about 2 weeks I was mining happily, then all stopped.
My pi was saying all 3 BFL were sick or would just spew out a load of crap like unaccepted... (I can't remember what it said)
I thought it might have been my USB hub, but I've just changed it over to a new verified one and it sill not working right, it lasts about a minute before it says they are sick again.
And that's if it detects them, must try's I had to ssh and do a auto detect in BFGminer.
I have a 5GH/s Jala, 7GH/s Jala and a 30GH/s LS. And a new BELKIN F5U234CW Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub.
What I did notice before I disconnected the above was the lights on the Hub would go out, the one's connected to the miners??
I still think it's a power problem, but the pi is plugged into the mains. (with adapter :-))
EDIT1: I just plugged my miners into a old PC running Win7 32bit and they all work!!!
Same to me with my BFs. Mining for about 1 to 5 Minutes, and then they are Zombies. Sometimes they wake up again, but thats very rare. I replaced PSUs and Hubs, but nothing changed. In BF Support Thread someone told me to change to cgminer 3.6.0. How would I do that? |

After running my remaining 12 BFs for some weeks fine with 1.900 to 2.800 GH, I have trouble since about a week. They are hashing for about 5 to 10 Minutes and then they are Zombies. I already bought other PSUs and Hubs and am running a fresh and clean git pulled Minepeon 0.2.4. It doesn't matter if there is 1 or 5 in a Hub (each Hub with at least 3A PSU, No Hub with more than 5 Units). I even changed the Multi socket (is it called so?) where the PSUs are plugged in.
Does any only have an idea? I can't believe they are all faulty...

Wenn es so weiter geht dann wird das CPU Mining wieder profitable  Hab meinen USB-Miner auch schon wieder rausgekramt!  Hab grade 4 auf egay verhökert, der teuerste ging für 37,- weg, der billigste für 31,- Einen hab ich mir behalten, zur Erinnerung. |

Ich gehe zwar auch von einem Crash aus, die Frage ist doch aber vielmehr, wie die Mehrheit der Markteilnehmer ausgerichtet ist. Wie schon öfters diskutiert, ist China momentan ein wesentliches Zugpferd. Wenn die Leute, die ihr Geld bisher in Ordos investiert haben jetzt auf BTC statt Wohnungsbau setzen, ist wohl davon auszugehen, dass die das Geld längerfristig anlegen wollen. Deshalb würde ich erstmal nicht von einer großen Verkaufswelle ausgehen.

die Frage ist ob man jetzt noch einsteigen sollte.
das weiß man halt nie bei Bitcoin wartet man ewig auf den Drop aber es steigt durch auf 100 wird mans bereuen steigt man jetzt ein aber dann fällt es und bleibt erstmal so wird mans bereuen So wie die die bei 266 gekauft haben, sind jetzt auch schon wieder gut im Plus wenn sie gehalten haben… Aber mir wird's grad auch etwas unheimlich. |

I'm running 14 BF atm, plugged in three 10 port Hubs (5/5/4) and these Hubs are connected to another Hub which is connected to the RasPi running Minepeon.
If I only plug one (5) Hub to the Main Hub they are running easy above 2 Gh. But when all three Hubs are plugged to the main Hub, it seems they are quite slower. Any Ideas?
Power issue ? How much A have HUB each power supply ? Each Hub has a PSU with 3,5 A. Should be enough. Only the main Hub with no BFs has no PSU. I'll try to power that one, but I don't think thats responsible. I did not think that would matter, but now everything is doing fine! With 14 BFs I have a middle range of 2.255 Gh/s. Could be better, but is much better than before. Thanks for your Support! |

Your PSU should have at least 0,5A for every USB Miner plus 0,5A spare. So if you have 5 USB Miners, your PSU should have at least 2,5A, better 3A.
