Well it's been a long time since I last posted here. I missed all this! The beta is looking really amazing! Still think a chat box in the NCC would be a laugh.  actually a chat box would be cool but i dont think it would bring much benefit.. then again it would be a fantastic place for noobs to ask for help. i know many noobs are afraid to post on btt. Sent some BetaNEM I don´t think ChatBox was a good Idea. If Newbies are looking for Help they could easily be scammed. |

Hi all,
I have a NEMstake on the nxt asset exchange. Is it possible to redeem the NEM coins in two parts.
I don't want to make mistakes when claiming my coins. So i first want to send 0,1 NEMstake and look if the process works out well and then the other 0,9 nemstake (all from the same nxt adress).
If not possible i have to use two nxtadresses.
As of my understanding you send the nxt Token to the (to be announced) Issuer Account, including your already generated NEM Account Number. Then You have to wait till NEMesis is created and beginning with the first Block of the official NEM Blockchain the NEMs are in your assigned NEM Account. |

How much NEM stakes are allowed for each NXT address? Are there any restrictions or limitations? Thanks.
2 stakes per nxt account. If you have more than 2 you split them up to more nxt accounts before cashing them in for real NEM. I feel like I anserwed this like 20 times  What a meaningless retarded requirements. What a rediculous statement. It's actually a decent (and necessary) deterrent from big players buying/hording nemstake, as they'll be reluctant to spend any large amount of time distributing their stakes across a host of NXT accounts to comply. This i didn't think would need explaining unless you're one to be buying Nemstake in huge quantities yourself. I'm personally glad the requirement stands for this very reason - as there are plenty of individuals who are into crypto with the resources to buy out Nemstake in almost any quantity they choose. Especially NXT whales. So no, it's far from "Meaningless" or retarded, as you so eloquently put. So why are you forced to divide your Stakes to several Accounts? NEMs Advance from the beginning was the good Distribution. This Advance was destroyed when going to the AE. Now there are some People with 10, 20, even 32 Stakes. (Even one with 252, but I think thats the Distribution Account, but it has no Name or Alias attached). So everyone here is blaming nxt for its Distribution. If everyone is forced to divide his AE Stakes to several Accounts you´ll never have a real Picture about the REAL first NEM Distribution, right? |

sitze gerade an meiner Steuererklärung für letztes Jahr. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Trades eines bestimmen Zeitraumes graphisch aufbereitet anzusehen? Also alle des letzten Jahres? Ich wollte nur mal wenigstens so grob drüberschauen ob das alles Sinn macht und alle Börsen dabei sind bevor ich den Steuer Export mache.
Das klappt ja, aber wie kann ich alle Trades von zwei verknüpften Accounts (1 EUR, 1 USD) in einen Steuerexport zusammenfassen?
Da ich inzwischen fast voll auf nxt setze: Gibt es im neuen Coinreporting die Möglichkeiten von nxtreporting? Oder kann ich nxt jetzt auch schon sinnvoll importieren?

Sorry, again stupid Question: Maybe it´s not efficient with my macbook, but how do I start mining?
I tried "start_mining [1]" and "start_mining [<1>]" as quoted in Wallet help file, but both returned "invalid arguments". If I try to start simple miner directly it´s stopped immediately.

Just tried to install Monero on my Mac using the official "getting started" site.
After some errors from homebrew (brew doctor solved it), the installation went as expected.
So i typed:
cd ~/bitmonero/build/release/src && ./simplewallet --generate-new-wallet wallet.bin
and got an error:
No such file or directory
So I looked it up, src was not in /release but in /bitmonero. So changed it to:
cd ~/bitmonero/src && ./simplewallet --generate-new-wallet wallet.bin
And it returned:
./simplewallet: is a directory
So i tried a bit forth and back, but my "coding skills" are just copy and paste...
Can anyone help me with this?

My Client seems to be stuck at Block 31756. I did some restarts, but nothing changed. Any Ideas what to do?
AFAIK we're currently at 31356 O_o Strange, just rebooted the Client and it still says "0.00 NEM (at block 31756)" Are there any Folders to delete or something like that? Just sent you some coins Thanks for that, but that should´t be the Problem. There were already some sent today, but they don`t show up. Any Ideas to resolve this? I downloaded the "one Click Installer" today and am running Mavericks on a 2009 MBP. I am having the same problem, stuck at block 31756: "0.00 NEM (at block 31756)". I first used the one click installer then switched to the terminal and manually started NIS and NCC version 74. Restarted both couple of times and still stuck at block 31756. Any idea? Deleted ncc and nis Folder in User Folder, now it´s working. |
