41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you should need to consider before trading cryptocurrencies? on: December 06, 2020, 10:57:22 PM
First of all, you need to understand how crypto and blockchain work. You also need to understand that these are still high risks.

Everything feels risky during a recession. A lot of people might be drawn to btc now as it hasn't crashed as bad as the rest of the stock market is starting to (or some even haven't recovered yet)...

But I still consider bitcoin a lot more risky than other assets.

Bitcoin is more safer asset as of today, with the banks printing trillions daily its only a matter of time until the imminent hyperinflation.
That's why big companies such as grayscale, micro strategy, fidelity, goldman sach is moving their wealth into Crypto because its safer store of value. Trading it will be more profitable considering a lot of demand coming from institutional investors.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 27, 2020, 04:00:50 PM
So, what do you guys do with the gambling money you get when you win the bet.

This always happen to me. When I win I transfer half or a portion to my personal wallet and continue playing with my remaining balance and when I lose it I will deposit the one that I deposit to my personal wallet and lose it then deposit again. In short I always lose in the end, maybe I'm not really good in handling losses at all. What I feel about it is that there's an urge of me that "I think I'm gonna win this time". I'm not sure if it's just me or other gamblers also experience this.

I also take profits whenever im winning my bets, and take breaks because i know that it might be a loss streak after. After all be wary when your in a winstreak and having consecutive high win profits sometimes its only a bait to go all in. In the end the House always wins and gets the profit from your addiction, so better control your emotions and learn to set limits.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Follow your mind! on: November 05, 2020, 11:42:51 PM
I based my investment in people's opinion in Bitcoin, if it weren't for this people then i wouldn't invested in it, at first i was hesitant to it. But when Crypto influencers and also Bitcointalk members have a detailed explanation, on how i think works and how the current financial institutions is disrupting our money. Then i've realized that it will become more valuable in the future especially when the time of crisis comes. Such as this pandemic.

My point is, its not bad to follow people's opinion as long. As its logical and reasonable to do so.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 29, 2020, 02:18:12 PM
Yes surely, i've even had second thoughts to keep playing because the most difficult choice is. To continue playing and loss money or stake Bitcoins. So it can grow in value while in a bull trend.
That's why, i always end up staking most of my crypto because its the safest bet, and play using micro stash.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 29, 2020, 02:14:14 PM
Its worth it if you have a big amount to bet because even small amounts when many, they can be profitable. You should think of a higher price which you can afford, and will not affect you financially. Single bets in my perspective are lot riskier because in one fell swoop, your money can vanish especially when you've been tempted to bet all in. Let's be honest, we all have that one bet that we became to greedy.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 29, 2020, 12:29:24 AM
The project is all well and good but i've also heard negative news in Algeria that there are ton of scammers that exploit people with these kinds of scheme's. It would greatly benefit you, if you can show us the project or atleast portfolio of your recent works to verify your a developer. Heck, i don't even know what a marketing developer means. Do you code or market? Or is it both?
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly 3 years on a LN does not seem to be adopted sufficiently to prevent mempo on: October 29, 2020, 12:23:38 AM
The problem here is because LN's usability its still in Beta phase, and pretty much need some technical skills for it to be used. Mostly only tech savy can use it, as it still has no GUI for ordinary users to easily send and receive Bitcoin. If this happens this second layer solutions might be rendered useless if Bitcoin becomes mass adopted.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: October 28, 2020, 03:15:52 PM
They should have strict measures to players just like what the NBA has done. They form rules and regulations to the new normal, restricting players from interacting with crowded or going outside, and added virtual fans to boost players morale. That's why the event was successful with no player getting infected with the disease.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 28, 2020, 03:03:56 PM
Gambling platforms don't use it because they have marketing teams that has much better way to grow their engagement in gambling addicts through SEO, link building and stuff.
Also, Bitcointalk is all in one access to most Crypto players, because it has millions of members around the world. It would only a waste of resources, if they market it in telegram with only few users.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 28, 2020, 01:32:40 AM
Having no physical structure like banks, is not a bad thing because you're not bound with laws and rules by those corporations. Yet you've given a freewill to choose what you do with your money without regulations. There are many tools out there to automate the process, and send you emails to your love one's, once you're no longer in this world or you could try to give your credentials to the most trusted people.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: October 28, 2020, 01:26:29 AM
You should have look at its core fundamentals instead of negative views then you'll realize that Bitcoin will be the next generation for our current financial system, and scarce and secured it is with a decentralize ledger that no one controls. Not even governments, its fine if you've missed the boat because it's projected by Plan B that the price could even skyrocket to Millions.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery is a poor man's tax on: October 27, 2020, 01:50:23 PM
Lottery still can give you profit even if you don't get the right lines , but it takes a lot time and effort to actually win the jackpot. Depending on your luck you just might bleed money instead of winning, some machines are just really doesn't give you anything and end up with a lose streak. So i'd rather go with quick high risk games than playing for hours to just gain nothing.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People's goal should shifting, specially if you are financially responsible on: October 27, 2020, 01:08:41 AM
If you care about your future, then you should really consider going for alternatives to safety your money because mortgages, pensions and savings might all vanish. If the financial system goes into recession that might trigger a massive financial crisis.
A hedge such as Cryptocurrency could be a good investment especially when the fiat currency cease to exist.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The number of Bitcoin whales hit an all-time high during the latest bull run on: October 27, 2020, 12:54:07 AM
Some whales bought it over the counter, and hodl it into hardware wallets, So we wouldn't actually know how many whales are currently holding Bitcoins. This chart or data, may not be entirely accurate. But all of them are coming out in the wild, with all the uncertainty happening with the financial system and massive quantitative easing. Of course some millionaire's will want to protect their wealths.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: luckygames problems on: October 26, 2020, 01:35:01 PM
First thing to do when there is an issue regarding their site. You should contact support or find their thread here, to contact a representative.
Things like this should have some proof to be a viable complaint, because people or customer service will not entertain you, if you dont have screenshots or creds to the account.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: October 26, 2020, 01:09:23 AM
The time is nigh, i supposed as major businesses and investors are moving in. This is probably the start of a major adoption, and big companies such as grayscale, Fidelity, micro strategy, square and recently have recently been buying Bitcoin allocating 1% of their portfolio into Bitcoin, and sooner or later when Institutional money comes flooding in. There's just not enough Bitcoin in circulation.
57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: buy low sell high? (I'm a noob) on: October 26, 2020, 01:04:36 AM
Start with Bitcoin because its the safest asset in Crypto space, unlike pump and dump altcoins. From there, you'll learn as you go and trade. Buy and sell is a good enough knowledge all you need to know is when to long or to short depending on the price action. So i would suggest to always put some stop losses whenever the price is in uncertain position.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 23, 2020, 03:18:59 PM
I've experienced that as well in Sports betting it's true that when we lost we still wanted to recover our lost money but I realized that it was wrong if you lost accept it and forget it and try your luck again the next time you bet and if that happens do the same thing again. Usually trying to recover your losses would just lead to more losses.

Loses is normal in gambling, if you're betting not knowing full well that you'll lose more money than winning then you shouldn't play gambling. Recovering the loses is not bad either because it comes when you always play gambling. The only bad thing about it. Is when you wage money more than you can afford to lose. Now that's unhealthy, and could get you bankrupt, in the end.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 23, 2020, 01:14:25 AM
Paypal is a multibillion company that is used by many people and businesses globally across the world, so yeah i think this is the start of more company and Institutional investors trading, buying and selling it. Because the concern of the regulatory system with a threat of a financial crisis. Even big gold investors such as DavinciJ15 is selling his Gold for Bitcoin. Also CNBC change their opinion to Bitcoin being a viable investment during this uncertain times.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 23, 2020, 01:07:06 AM
Many speculators say that it will have a pullback after reaching the $13,200 this will be the whales taking profits zone. Who know maybe we come down again and retest the $12,400 or just continues to pump, i still wouldn't sell when everything points to the upside especially when huge adoption coming such as the paypal news.
